Chapter 12: Darkness Surges
The investigation inside the academy was proceeding in full swing, but Qin Feng and his partners knew that this was only a temporary calm and the dark sect would definitely take action again.
One day, Vice President Feng Jian secretly summoned Qin Feng and his partners. They walked into the vice president's office and found Feng Jian with a serious expression, as if he had something important to announce.

Feng Jian said in a deep voice: "We found a hidden passage leading to an ancient ruin near the academy. According to intelligence, the Dark Cult has been frequently in and out of there recently. I suspect they are performing some kind of evil ritual there."
"Ancient ruins?" Ye Li frowned and asked, "Is there anything special about that place?"
"That is a sealed place. According to legend, a powerful soul beast, the Shadow Dragon, is sealed there." Feng Jian explained, "If the Dark Cult releases it, the consequences will be disastrous."
Qin Feng nodded firmly: "We will definitely stop them."
Qin Feng and his team accepted the mission and quietly set out for the ancient ruins. The ruins were hidden deep in a dense forest, and the road leading to the sealed place was full of traps and mechanisms.
"Everyone be careful, this place must be full of traps set by the dark sect." Chu Tian reminded in a low voice.
They moved forward cautiously, avoiding several dangerous traps. Suddenly, the road ahead was blocked by a strong spiritual power fluctuation, and a dark barrier stood in front of them.

"This is the sealed place." Qin Feng whispered, "We need to find the priests of the Dark Cult and stop their rituals."
Just as they were searching, a group of priests from the dark sect suddenly appeared. The leading priest was wearing a black robe, holding a dark purple staff in his hand, and looked at them coldly.
"You foolish children, how dare you break into our holy land." The priest's voice was eerie and terrifying. His martial spirit was a terrifying giant shadow python, opening its bloody mouth, ready to devour them at any time.
Qin Feng was not afraid at all. He raised the Dragon Shadow Sword and said calmly, "Your conspiracy will not succeed."
The battle broke out instantly. The priest's shadow python suddenly pounced on Qin Feng, but Qin Feng's body was as fast as lightning and he dodged quickly. At the same time, he used the "Thunder Shadow Breaking" of the Dragon Shadow Nine Styles, and the sword light pierced the giant python like lightning.
"Everyone be careful, the priest's spells are very powerful." Ye Li warned, and her frost fox released cold air in an attempt to weaken the priest's power.
Chu Tian and Zhang Meng also joined the battle, their soul beasts showed strong fighting power, knocking down the priest's men one by one. Qin Feng focused on dealing with the priest, the two sides were equally strong, and the battle was once in a stalemate.

After completing the task, Qin Feng and his partners returned to the college with the joy of victory, and their bravery and wisdom were once again praised by Vice President Feng Jian.
