"How could there be water eels!" he exclaimed.

Zhang Meng swam away in a hurry, thinking to himself: "I can't retreat. The candidate for the Water God cannot be defeated by the water eel!"

Finally, he reached the end of the rapids and swam successfully to safe waters.

He continued to swim, looking for more creatures, hoping to learn more.

"Is there any problem with the water quality here?" he asked quickly when he saw a group of small fish.

"Little fishes, are you okay?" Zhang Meng asked enthusiastically.

"There's some debris on the water surface recently, making it a little inconvenient to swim." said a little fish.

"I will definitely solve it as soon as possible!" Zhang Meng was full of confidence.

"Thank you, candidate for the Water God!" the little fishes cheered.

Zhang Meng felt strong and determined to solve the problem for the aquatic creatures.

He continued to explore in the water and finally swam to the edge of the lake and saw several piles of floating garbage.

"Great, candidate for the Water God, you are our pride!" The villagers cheered.

The night gradually fell amid laughter and joy. Zhang Meng knew that as a candidate for the Water God, he shouldered greater responsibilities and began his journey to become the Water God.
