Chapter 9 Graduation

After saying that, Tsunade finished the wine in the glass in one gulp.

After hearing what Tsunade said, Okamoto Dousuke had a hunch on the way here that it might be related to the Third World War. "It's okay, don't worry, Teacher Tsunade. I'm so happy to be able to contribute to the village!"

Tsunade looked at the disciple sitting opposite her and smiled. "This time you are joining mainly as a medical ninja. In principle, the scout team is composed of at least Chunin. You are the first to join as a Genin. This is an attempt by me and the village."

"Teacher, don't you know my strength? I almost defeated Kakashi in the past. You have seen my growth in the past few years. Don't worry!" Okamoto Dousuke said to Tsunade.

Okamoto Dousuke put on his clothes, walked over to pick up Tsunade's clothes, and followed her out.

Walking out of the sushi restaurant, the April night breeze was still a little chilly. Blowing on people's faces, it instantly made people sober up. Okamoto Dousuke handed the clothes in his hand to Tsunade.

"Dousuke, from today on you are a real ninja." After saying that, Tsunade took out a Konoha ninja forehead protector from her pocket and handed it to him.

"I'll give you a week to rest. You don't have to come to the hospital. Your classmates will graduate tomorrow, so you should go back to school." Tsunade said to Okamoto Dousuke.

The next day, in a private room at Konoha BBQ restaurant.

Okamoto Dousuke opened the curtain of the private room. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you guys were here so early."

Uchiha Obito, who was sitting on the inside, stood up, looked at Okamoto Dousuke who came in, looked him up and down, stood up and put his hand on the forehead protector.

Okamoto Dousuke looked at Uchiha Obito, who had one hand on his waist and one finger pointing at the forehead protector of Konoha, and said sarcastically: "I know, I know, you are the best, okay."

Then he looked at Might Guy, Shizune, Nohara Rin, etc. He joked, "Does this mean that you can graduate just by taking the exam?"

"How can it be the same? I, Obito, can still graduate even if I sleep every day." Uchiha Obito grinned.

"Stop showing off and sit down. Otherwise the meat will get burnt soon." Okamoto Dousuke sat down next to Shizune, picked up the largest piece of meat with chopsticks and put it in his dipping sauce.

"Wow, you come late but eat early." Obito yelled angrily when he saw Okamoto Dousuke eating.

"Douseki, will you continue to work in the hospital?" Shizune asked Okamoto Douseki with his mouth full of meat.

"He should be following the task force. I'm not sure about the details. What about you guys?" Okamoto Dousuke asked instead of telling Shizune and the others that he was about to join the scout team.

"Obito, Kakashi and I have been assigned to Minato's jonin team." Nohara Rin answered Okamoto Dousuke truthfully.

"It's a pity Kakashi didn't come, otherwise I would have defeated him in eating barbecue." After Might Guy said this, he felt several pairs of eyes looking at him.

"Why are you looking at me? I did go to Kakashi's house to invite him, but he ignored me. Besides, it was Lin who brought it up first." Might Guy said helplessly.

"I met Kakashi last time when I went to the memorial. He hasn't recovered from the shock of his father's death. Since his father passed away, sometimes when I went to his house, he was either not at home or exercising. And now he doesn't trust anyone at all. I heard that all his teammates in his team reject him." Okamoto Dousuke sighed.

"Don't worry, Zusuke, I will help Kakashi out of this predicament." Nohara Lin said gently.

"Don't be so dejected, guys. Let me, Obito, go and wake that big idiot up. Next time we have a dinner together, I will tie that guy up and bring him over." Uchiha Obito said loudly as the atmosphere at the table gradually became gloomy.

Because of Kakashi, the few of them hurriedly finished their dinner and said goodbye to each other.

Because the weather has not yet warmed up, pedestrians on the street are walking in a hurry.

Two short figures were indeed walking slowly towards us from one side of the street.

"It's okay, I'm in good health. And I'm doing this for my own sake. If you get sick from the cold, Teacher Tsunade will ask me for an explanation. What should I do then?" Okamoto Dousuke said helplessly.

Shizune had said at school that she would introduce someone to him. Unexpectedly, it was Tsunade. Since her uncle Kato Dan passed away, Tsunade often came to her house to take care of her.

Then he squatted in front of the girl and zipped up his clothes from bottom to top with a "swish".

He casually adjusted the collar and the girl's long hair that was covered by the clothes. His cold hands accidentally touched the girl's hot earlobe. The girl's face turned red instantly, as if it was painted with red.

Without any extra words, Okamoto Dousuke and Shizune just walked quietly, side by side, shoulder to shoulder, with the street lights stretching their shadows long.

"Okay, Shizue, go back now!" No matter how long the road is, it will eventually come to an end. Before I knew it, I had arrived at Shizue's house.

"Well, Doujie, be careful when you go back!" Shizune took off her coat and gave it back to him.

"Don't worry, I will." Okamoto Dousuke put on his coat, waved at Shizune, and turned to leave.

"Also, Shizune, you look really good in a skirt!!"

"Got it, idiot."

A few days passed in a flash, and Okamoto Dousuke finally received the notice to assemble.

Gather at the village gate at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.
