Chapter 264 Spirit Bird
Looking at Light who was muttering to himself, Snape couldn't help but frown, and his expression became extremely serious.
The originally deep voice became extremely sharp, and said to Wright, who still looked a little casual:
"Letter Rags!"
"You have to understand that Moody is not an ordinary person. He is an Auror who retired peacefully and is also a hero."
"Even though he is crazy now, his ability has not decreased at all. He will be caught as long as he reveals the slightest flaw."
"Once caught, he will do whatever it takes to send someone to Azkaban, even to frame them for a crime."
"After all, his identity naturally makes people feel trustworthy."
Listening to Snape's constant earnest advice, Wright put away his casual expression and nodded seriously in agreement.
"I understand, Professor! I won't underestimate him!"
Although he appreciated Snape's concern, he really didn't care much in his heart.
Not to mention whether Moody, played by Barty Crouch Jr., can withstand other people's investigation.
Even if Moody really came, Wright could dig out his magic eye and install it on the door for surveillance, and no one would object.
Looking at Wright who was like a good boy, Snape nodded with satisfaction, but his voice became low:
"Wright, when you face him, you don't need to back down."
"If Moody did something to irritate you, just tell me first and I will help you solve it!"
Facing Snape's increasingly fierce eyes, Wright's heart skipped a beat, but he just nodded slightly.
"You go back first!"
"Get ready, prepare well, you will be taking his class soon."
Seeing that Light agreed so obediently, Snape was about to chase him away.
Seeing that Snape was willing to defend himself, Wright didn't want him to suffer any loss, so he said:
"Professor, please wait a moment. I have something to give you now."
"Is it a festival now? What do you want to give me?"
Under Snape's puzzled gaze, Wright directly took out a hexagonal silver metal cylinder from the space equipment.
"What...what is this?"
Faced with Snape's question, Light did not answer, but threw it directly into the air.
The cylinder emitted a dazzling silver light in the air, and finally turned into a ball of light suspended in the air.
After doing all this, Wright looked at the somewhat confused Snape and said seriously:
"Professor, summon the Patronus and merge with it. It will bring you new powers."
Looking at Light, whose face was filled with a 'please believe me' expression, Snape hesitated for a moment.
Without saying anything, he drew out his wand: "Call upon God for protection!"
Shining silver light poured out from the tip of the wand, forming a nimble stag that leaped across the office.
Under Snape's control, the stag leaped directly towards the ball of light suspended in the air.
Without any hindrance, the guardian angel directly merged with the ball of light.
The ball of light in the air shone even brighter, emitting a faint silver halo.
Without anyone pulling it, it quickly floated towards Snape before anyone could react.
It sank into his body the moment it came into contact, without any rejection reaction, and the two quickly merged into one.
Then, a faint light overflowed from Snape's body, as if covering him with a layer of thin silver gauze.
Along with the flow of silver light, he could feel the continuous outflow of magic power and the existence of the ball of light in his body.
"This...this...is..."
Snape raised his hands in great surprise and looked at the light flowing around him.
"I made an alchemical item, the advanced version of the bird, the 'Spirit Bird'. I wanted to call it 'Pokémon', but I decided not to.
Since it had already been given away, Wright naturally had no intention of hiding anything and explained directly:
"As long as the guardian spirit condensed by 'Spiritual Guardian' is integrated into the 'Spirit Bird', it can generate magic power on its own."
"The magic power generated by it can also be used by the wizard at will."
"This is equivalent to a wizard having two sources of magic power!"
"And it has two forms, guard and attack."
"The guard is in bird form, and has all kinds of protective magic."
"When attacking, it is in Guardian form. You can transfer your magic to it and let it attack."
While listening to the introduction of the "Light Bird", Snape did not stop exploring the ball of light in his body.
During Wright's explanation, he quickly found the key and started waving his arms.
A bird emitting silver light flew out of Snape's body and instantly took away the gauze wrapped around him.
"Just like controlling the Patronus, the control method I set up is quite simple."
Looking at the spirit birds flying around Snape, Wright gave him a reminder.
With a clear prompt, the spirit birds surrounding Snape suddenly stopped.
Then he showed off his skills in the air, making sharp turns and high-speed stops...
The easier it was to control the 'Spirit Bird', the more shocked Snape was.
"Professor, you can turn it into a Patronus and try its attack form."
"Of course, both states of the 'Spirit Bird' can repel Dementors."
As soon as Wright finished speaking, the 'spiritual bird' in the sky immediately emitted a faint silver halo.
A silver stag that looked like a real entity appeared from the air and slowly landed in the office.
The newly appeared stag came close to Snape very affectionately and kept circling around him.
He touched it with curiosity and found that the fur was extremely real and even smooth.
Looking at Snape, whose face was filled with shock and surprise, Wright nodded with satisfaction and continued:
"'Spirit Bird' is also equipped with a series of functions such as automatic tracking, defense, and attack."
"Just take your time to figure out how to use these functions. I'm leaving now!"
"By the way, I originally intended to give the 'Spirit Bird' as a Christmas gift, but now that I've given it to you in advance, I won't give it to you later."
After saying this, Wright ignored Snape's complicated look and expression and slipped out of the Potions Office.
After giving the 'spiritual bird' to Snape, Wright walked briskly to the hall for dinner.
In order to grab a good seat, we had a simple lunch.
Harry and Ron hurriedly pulled the unmotivated Wright to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom early.
But unfortunately, just like taking a holiday and going home early, many people also think the same way.
By the time they arrived, most of the seats in the classroom were already occupied.
Wright and his companions, who arrived a little late, had to find a seat closer to the front.
They took out their respective textbooks, "Dark Magic: Self-Defense Guide", and waited for class to start.
"Bump, Bump"
They didn't have to wait long before extremely strange sounds kept coming from outside the classroom door.
