Chapter 1532 The Battle for Ada

Ada slowly awoke in the giant's warm, moist mouth. The noise from the outside world and the glaring sunlight made her feel somewhat uncomfortable.

She propped herself up on her arms and slowly sat up from the giant's soft tongue, her eyes filled with a mixture of confusion and wariness as she peered down through the gaps in the giant's teeth.

Her gaze immediately locked onto the young man standing directly beneath the giant, his black hair flowing and his eyes as calm as an abyss.

“Allen…”?

Ada murmured the name, her brow furrowing slightly. Her childhood memories were still fragmented, consisting of only vague pieces. This gloomy young man must be her long-lost younger brother.

"Hey, you, sister," an urgent voice interrupted before Allen could even speak.

Luffy completely ignored the subtle atmosphere of the sibling reunion. He stretched his neck and shouted at Ada in the giant's mouth, his eyes flashing with undisguised eagerness: "Eren said your ability can help Ace, is that true? Then come with us to Marine Headquarters, let's go now!"

Upon hearing this, Kidd and Capone Becky, who were standing behind, rolled their eyes almost simultaneously. Kidd muttered a curse under his breath: "This idiot... when did we agree to go to Marineford to die?"

These two shrewd individuals didn't want to get involved. The Marineford War was a meat grinder; it would be good enough if they could just send Luffy, that troublemaker, there to cause trouble. Getting involved themselves was too risky.

Allen didn't seem angry at Luffy's recklessness. He looked at Ada and calmly added, "Ada, your Parasite Fruit ability allows the parasites to forcefully keep the host alive and delay the death process when the host is fatally wounded and on the verge of death."

He paused, his gaze sweeping over Luffy. "In other words, if Portgas D. Ace suffers a fatal blow on the execution platform, your ability might be his only hope of survival."

"Really?! That's great!" Luffy's eyes practically lit up with excitement. He stared intently at Ada, as if she were his lifeline. He believed Eren's words without a doubt; how could his friend lie to him?

This explanation sent a huge shock through Lucci's team on the rooftop; the enemy knew more information than they, the agents themselves, did.

“The Parasite Fruit… I never knew it could be used like this,” Kaku exclaimed.

If pirates were to acquire such bizarre abilities, it would undoubtedly greatly increase the difficulty of suppressing powerful pirates, posing a huge threat to the World Government.

"We must bring Ada back," Lucci said, a cold glint in his eyes. He made his decision instantly, and the three of them exchanged glances, preparing to take action to snatch her.

Kidd raised his arm, instantly releasing a powerful magnetic field that swept across the surroundings like radar. "Hmph, quite a few rats..."

He sensed that besides the people in the open, there were many other presences hidden in the shadows, some weak (possibly local gang spies) and others quite powerful (likely CP or other government agents).

He exchanged a wary glance with Capone Becky, their muscles tense, ready to respond to any unexpected situation.

Capone Becky had secretly prepared a castle inside his body, ready to swallow and transfer his allies if things went wrong. Hawkins was currently waiting inside his castle.

Ada witnessed everything. She looked at Allen with a complicated expression. After so many years, their reunion was devoid of care or reminiscing; it was nothing but blatant exploitation.

Her younger brother needed her abilities to achieve a certain goal, and she became a tool for various forces to fight over. Indeed, there is not much warmth in the adult world, only the relationship of using and being used.

Just as the atmosphere was about to become tense

"Make your move," Lu Qi shouted in a low voice.

Bruno took the initiative, swiping his hands across the air in front of him, instantly opening a green air portal. He planned to open the portal directly behind Ada and pull her into the inner world.

"She's someone I need, you're not allowed to take her away!" Luffy's reaction was astonishingly fast. Just as Bruno's hand was about to touch Ada, Luffy's arm stretched out like rubber and grabbed Ada's wrist firmly first.

"Come with me to save Ace! You can't go with them!" Luffy shouted, pulling hard.

Bruno missed his target and watched helplessly as Luffy dragged Ada out of the giant's mouth.

Almost simultaneously, as if receiving a command, the giant abruptly closed its gaping maw. As the giant's tongue moved in a swallowing motion, Bruno was caught off guard and fell directly into the giant's bottomless esophagus, which was filled with highly corrosive gastric juices.

"How disgusting!" Bruno struggled in the thick stomach acid, barely managing to activate his ability again to open a door on the outside of the giant's abdomen and escape into the street. However, his clothes were corroded and riddled with holes, and he looked truly wretched.

The Titan, given the battle command, slammed its massive fist, carrying immense force, onto the roof where Lucci and Kaku were located.

"Moon Step," the two hurriedly leaped into the air, the houses beneath their feet turning to dust under the giant fist.

The scene was extremely chaotic. P9 failed to rescue the hostage, the giants wreaked havoc, and the pirate alliance and government agents completely disregarded the destruction of the site, using anything as a weapon.

The gang members hiding in the shadows, acting as spies, watched the two groups vandalize the property, but dared not speak out. In the end, the gangs behind the scenes would have to pay for the property damage caused.

"Has our offering not arrived yet?"

"If they keep tearing it down, the whole street will be destroyed. These beasts have no sense of restraint!"

While the gang members were cursing the two sides for being inhuman, someone noticed a figure on the street corner. The benefactor whom the underworld bosses had spent a fortune to win over had finally arrived, albeit belatedly.

A woman carrying an umbrella, wearing a blue coat and rain boots, walked slowly towards them. She had beautiful blue curly hair and matching blue eyes, and her face was beautiful but covered with a layer of frost.

Her gloomy gaze swept over the giant who was destroying the house and the two groups of people, finally landing on Luffy and Lucci, who were leading the group. What a bunch of bastards who deserved to be taught a lesson.
