Chapter 10: Ability Test and Conversation
Seeing that Mrs. Molly was getting busy, Aiden didn't want to disturb her, so he set off for the reed field.
In the reed field, the construction of the goblin kingdom is in full swing. More than forty tunnels have been dug. However, the size of the tunnels is designed to fit the height of the goblins, which is about one foot (0.4m). Obviously, this height is not suitable for Aiden.
Aiden came to a cave entrance where two goblins were guarding and said to them, "Go gather all the goblins."
Two goblins staggered into the ground. A quarter of an hour later, more than twenty goblins emerged from the ground and surrounded Aiden from all directions.
Aiden stood in the middle, activated his ability, imitated the goblins' body movements, and gave them a hint, which was, "We are all birds."
Soon, the goblins struggled to fly, but without wings, they could only roll on the ground.
Then came shock, frenzy, and appeasement, all of which were successful.
This made Aiden feel relieved that his extraordinary abilities could finally affect others.
Finally, Aiden took out his wand and tapped it in the air, "Lumos". A faint light lit up in the air, and the light was reflected in the eyes of the goblins.
Aiden took the opportunity to use telepathy to communicate with the goblins' minds. However, the goblins' minds were empty. Apart from eating and reproducing, there was nothing to read, and Aiden soon lost interest.
The goblins were given a hint again, asking them to return to the cave, thus ending this ability test.
Back at the Burrow, Arthur came over with a briefcase and met Aiden, "Aiden, you're back."
"Yes, Uncle Arthur, Aunt Molly seems to have prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Come in quickly."
After that, Aiden and Arthur walked into the house together. Mrs. Molly was busy in the kitchen, preparing a carefully cooked dinner for her family. The kitchen was filled with all kinds of delicious aromas, making people salivate.
The table was filled with a hearty meal of roast chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetable salad and homemade bread in the shape of a magic wand.
Molly also specially prepared their favorite chocolate cake for the children.
The whole family sat around the dining table, enjoying this warm moment.
The next day, Aiden received a letter from Dumbledore and went to meet him in Godric's Hollow.
"Good morning, Professor. Is there anything you want to tell me today, or any new magic you want to teach me?" Aiden asked expectantly.
"Good morning, Aiden. Please forgive the shallowness of an old man like me. Your learning progress is amazing. My mind has almost been emptied by you. I should leave some of the remaining knowledge for the fun of teaching other professors at Hogwarts." Dumbledore responded with a smile.
Aiden rolled his eyes in his heart. Although he couldn't read Dumbledore's thoughts, the powerful sequencing ability of the Hitman easily saw through this "lie".
"The main reason I invited you today is to talk to you about yourself and the future." Dumbledore looked at Aiden with deep eyes.
"Child, I know that you have talents in magic that are beyond the reach of ordinary people. Your vision is often different from that of others. Once, when I was teaching a young wizard, I made a mistake that caused irreversible consequences. I blamed myself for decades afterwards."
Dumbledore sat on the sofa and handed Aiden a cup of black tea.
"And now, facing you who also has talents, I can't make the wrong choice again, so can we talk?"
Aiden looked at the old man in front of him. More than a hundred years of wind and frost had taken away his appearance, his family, and his friends.
Now this miserable old man is showing you his pain just to exchange for your sincerity. Why should you make things difficult for him?
"Well, professor, it's time to talk. Professor, I don't have much pursuit for power, fame, and wealth, but of course I don't mind having them either."
Aiden picked up the tea and took a sip.
"And your biggest concern should be what kind of colors I will paint on the canvas of the wizarding world, wizards and Muggles in the future."
Dumbledore sat up straight and listened carefully.
"Professor, I can't do anything."
"Nothing?" Dumbledore was a little surprised.
"Yes, professor. What I want to do most is to live with my family without worries. Professor, there is a philosopher in the far east who proposed a concept that the most powerful thing a person can do is to do nothing." Aiden replied with a smile.
"I don't necessarily have conflicts with the wizarding world or the Muggles. I don't deny that I am pursuing power, but after gaining power, I would rather not do something than use it to do something. After all, power gives us the right to refuse, doesn't it?"
Aiden used his ability on himself, making his expression and voice seem extremely sincere, but he did not give a real answer.
"Well, this answer does put me at ease. Please forgive me for being so worried as an old man." Dumbledore sorted out his thoughts.
Looking at the old man on the sofa lost in thought, Aiden began to reflect, did he really look like the Dark Lord?
"Ding, you have a strong talent for magic and are good at playing with people's hearts. All you have left is to use black magic wantonly, and then the host will have all the elements of a dark lord." The system sent a thoughtful reminder.
"Shut up, I gave you the permission to connect to my mind and this is how you use it." Aiden said to himself angrily.

Just as Aiden was immersed in the crosstalk theater of his mind, Dumbledore came back to his senses.
"Child, I've disturbed you for a long time today. I'll leave first." Dumbledore stood up and walked towards the door. After a flash, he disappeared from Aiden's sight.
He left so quickly that Aiden, who was arguing with the system, didn't even have time to say goodbye.
"This old bee, even though he says he's old every day, he's still so efficient and decisive when it comes to doing things." Aiden couldn't help but complain.
