Chapter 13 Diagon Alley and the Wand

Hagrid took Aiden and Harry for a stroll on the streets of London. The team consisting of the tall Hagrid and Aiden with heterochromatic eyes stood out in the crowd.

However, Hagrid didn't care about the strange looks from the people around him. Aiden had no choice but to release the Confusion Spell, snap his fingers, and give hints to the people around him.

The people who were originally staring at the three people turned their heads and went about their own business as if they had lost their target.

"Wow, that's amazing, Aiden, how did you do it?" Harry was a little curious.

"A little bit of talent and hard work," Aiden responded.

"Hagrid, does Hogwarts teach this? I want to learn it." Harry was a little excited.

After witnessing what Aiden did and the conversation between the two, Hagrid seemed to be hesitant to speak.

"Well, Hogwarts has a great headmaster. Harry, as long as you learn from him, you will be able to do the same in the future."

With Hagrid's silence, Harry's excitement and Aiden's scheming, the three of them walked into the Leaky Cauldron.

The bar was really dark and shabby inside, and a few elderly women were sitting in a corner, drinking small glasses of sherry.

One of them was smoking a long pipe, and a young man in a tall hat was chatting with the old bartender.

The old bartender's head was bald, like a swollen walnut. When Aiden and his party walked in, the buzz of chatter stopped immediately, as if everyone recognized Hagrid.

They waved and smiled at him, and the old bartender held out a glass and said, "Same as usual, Hagrid?"

"No, Tom, I have important things to do. Dumbledore asked me to take little Harry and little Aiden to buy school supplies." There was a hint of pride in Hagrid's rough voice.

"May his soul rest in peace, he is Harry Potter." As Tom exclaimed, the Broken Axe suddenly became quiet.

"Welcome back, Mr. Potter."

Harry didn't know what to say, everyone was looking at him and trying to shake his hand.

Ignored Aiden looked at the people around him. They were filled with auras, colors of emotions, excitement, joy, gratitude, resentment...

“Resentment?” Aiden looked at the man intently. He was a weak-looking young man with a thick turban wrapped around his head.

"Interesting, a fateful meeting?" Aiden gave a wicked smile and used soothing methods to calm the excited emotions of the people around him, allowing the young man standing outside the crowd to approach Harry.

"This is Professor Quirrell, Harry," said Hagrid. "Professor Quirrell will be your teacher at Hogwarts."

"P-P-Potter," stammered Professor Quirrell, "I can't t-t-tell you how t-how glad I am to see you."

Quirrell held out his hand, but drew it back, and Aiden snapped his fingers, giving Harry the cue to shake Quirrell's hand.

Harry attacked, and the moment their palms touched, there was a "hiss" sound, and the two men pulled their hands back in pain.

"What's going on?" Harry asked confused.

"It's t-that hot, but it might be the static. Y-you know, I used to do Muggle Studies, so t-it's a natural phenomenon."

Professor Quirrell explained with sweat on his forehead, while hiding the hand he had grasped under his robe, as if he was afraid that he would be grabbed by the big man in the next second.

"Okay, it's getting late, we should go buy school supplies." Aiden, who had seen enough of the show, spoke up to help Quirrell out.

So the three of them stopped paying attention to Quirrell and came to the back door of the bar and stood in front of the familiar trash can.

"Up three blocks... sideways three blocks..." Hagrid muttered. "Oh, and stand back, Harry."

He knocked the tip of his umbrella against the wall three times.

The brick he touched began to vibrate - the middle part squirmed violently, and a small hole appeared - which grew larger and larger - and a second later there was an archway before them, large enough for Hagrid to pass through.

The arch led into a cobbled street that curved out of sight.

"Welcome to Diagon Alley," said Hagrid.

The dazzling array of merchandise attracted Harry's attention. The young savior broke into the world of magic. Everything here was so charming that Harry couldn't help but linger.

Hagrid took Harry and Aiden to Gringotts to get money and the Philosopher's Stone, bought textbooks, robes and cauldrons, and finally came to the wand shop.

"Sorry, Aiden, could you take Harry to the wand shop? I have something to do." Hagrid said and ran out.

Aiden and Harry walked into the wand shop, and when they stepped into the store, a crisp bell rang from somewhere in the store.

"Good afternoon," a soft voice said. Aiden had already sensed Ollivander's approach, but Harry, who knew nothing about it, was startled.

"I have been wondering when I would meet you, Mr. Potter. You have the same eyes as your mother, and it seems as if she arrived only yesterday. She was chosen by a ten and a quarter inch long cypress wand. Your father's wand was mahogany, eleven inches long, and he was skilled in Transfiguration."

"Oh and you, Mr. Prewett. Your family's unique eyes are unforgettable. The wand you carry is your father's. It is made of blackthorn wood and is ten and a half inches. Although it is loyal to your father, this wand is still willing to protect you. However, it does not work so well with you. The wand chooses the wizard. Mr. Prewett, you need a new wand."

Aiden took out the wand he had on him, looked at it, and cast a cleansing spell on himself, "I think it's quite handy, I'm sure my father won't mind."

Gideon Prewett rolled his eyes. "Use it. No one in our family can outlive you."

"Let him go first." Aiden said humbly.

Practice has proved that the power of prophecy surrounds Harry, and as if destined, the holly wand with phoenix tail feathers is handed to Harry.

"Well, next, Mr. Prewett." Ollivander took out a tape measure and started measuring.

"Try this, red oak, leopard hair."

Aiden took the wand and waved it, successfully performing the levitation spell, but unfortunately the magic power was not coordinated, and Ollivander also noticed this.

Aiden tried it, but it still didn't fit.
