Chapter 406: Infiltration into the Ministry of Magic (Prelude)

At the Black Mansion in Grimmauld Place, Harry and the other two sat around the fireplace.

"Come and see the location of the Ministry of Magic relics that Aiden mentioned?" Hermione suggested.

Harry nodded, took out the black-covered book given by Aiden from the bag and opened it.

Ink appeared in the middle of the book, which reminded Harry of something bad. He secretly suspected that Aiden had also made a Horcrux. But then he thought of the dragon head as big as a mountain and threw this ridiculous idea out.

"Ink, that's it?" Ron waited for a long time, but saw no response from the book, so he reached out to touch the book.

When his hand was about to touch the book, a black hand stretched out from inside the book and grabbed Ron.

"Ah!" Ron screamed like a rabbit and was pulled into the book. Harry's eyes widened and he grabbed Ron.

Inside the book is a huge tree, with the roots at the bottom rooted in a huge sphere and the bare branches above seeming to connect to the distant starry sky.

"The one below should correspond to the earth, and what does the starry sky above mean?" Hermione saw the image and thought about it for a long time but still couldn't guess their corresponding meanings.

"Starry sky? I seem to have seen something like this in the Department of Mysteries?" Harry saw a locked ball on the middle tree trunk.

"Maybe Aiden left some powerful weapons for you. Don't waste time, go in and take a look." Ron urged.

Several people floated and touched the nearest branch. A white light blurred their vision. When they opened their eyes again, they found that they had arrived at a magnificent hall.

"Is this the Ministry of Magic?" The three of them obviously recognized the familiar decorations, with wizards constantly walking around the rows of fireplaces.

Suddenly a burst of fire lit up, and the wizards around all turned their eyes to the person who was about to come out of the flames, but they seemed not to notice anything unusual.

Everyone's eyes were fixed on one place, and their bodies were still doing their own things. At the intersection of their eyes, a woman in a pink tweed coat walked out.

She stood in the crowd and counted her hair. The earring box on her ears was sparkling. This familiar outfit seemed to bring Harry and the other two back to their fifth grade class. She was Dolores Umbridge.

"Mr. Weasley, come here." The woman...Umbridge called out to Arthur.

"Dad...let's get out of here!" Ron tried desperately to fiddle with the fog, but it became denser and denser like a tide, until it finally pushed Ron out of the Ministry of Magic.

"Don't worry too much, Mr. Weasley doesn't look hurt." Hermione walked over to him and supported his shoulders, while Ron lay on the ground with lifeless eyes.

"The Horcrux is on Umbridge, it's an earring, we have to find a way to get it." As the leader of the team, Harry determined the next direction of action.

"But what can we do? The Ministry of Magic is so heavily guarded." Hermione noticed the flaw in Harry's plan.

"Infiltrate." Hermione reached into her bag and pulled out three bottles of...Polyjuice Potion.

"We researched Aiden's book while you were away today, and discovered that it can be connected to the perspective of any employee of the Ministry of Magic." Ron was excited.

"So, you're planning on infiltrating the Ministry?" asked Harry.

"Let's take action tomorrow." Harry opened his eyes and immediately made a decision that he must do his best to destroy that guy.

Hermione looked at him worriedly, she knew the connection between Harry and Voldemort, and she also understood that Harry must have seen something from his memory that made him so anxious.

"Did you see anything? Was it the scene of Voldemort killing people? Are my family members there?" Ron walked forward and shook Harry excitedly.

"No, Ron, we have to focus on the Horcruxes. This is also to protect your family, and Mr. Weasley is doing well in the Ministry."

Harry pushed Ron and Hermione aside and began to discuss the plan. Ron pursed his lips and suppressed his worries in his heart.

The next day, the sky was covered with dark clouds, but for the residents of England Road, this did not affect their commute to work.

Harry and the other two Apparated to the Ministry of Magic and used the Unlocking Charm to open a small fire door.

As soon as the three of them entered, a short witch Apparated here. Apparently, this was the Apparition landing place provided by the Ministry of Magic for commuting wizards. Normally, only employees of the Ministry of Magic would use it, but now it seemed to have become a buffet for hunters.

Hermione knocked her out with a silent spell, pulled out her hair, added Polyjuice Potion, drank it all in one gulp, transformed herself into a witch, and changed into her clothes.
