Lin Lang stood to the side, watching the mother and daughter snuggling together, his eyes filled with tenderness.

He reached out and gently rubbed Lin Zhiruo's head, smiling as he said, "Ruo'er, be good, don't cry."

Xiao Zhiruo nodded as if she understood, pouted her little mouth, and buried her face even deeper. In Han Zaiyin's warm embrace, listening to the familiar songs and her parents' gentle words, her earlier unease and grievances gradually dissipated.
