Chapter 779 Civil War 2
Titan
[Ebony Maw's spaceship has arrived here and is rapidly flying towards the surface.]
Tony and the others stared intently at the screen in front of them.
[Spider-Man asked in confusion: "Hey! What's going on?"]
[Strange said calmly: "I think we're here!"]
Tony looks at the surface getting closer and closer and says, "I don't think this spaceship has an automatic landing function!"
He turned and walked to the right side of the controller, saying to Spider-Man, "Hold the direction and rotate the stabilizer! Turn it off! Do you understand?"
【“Yep! No problem!” Spider-Man immediately did as he was told. 】
"This is for big guys! We have to push together!"
【"Okay! Okay! I'm ready!" Spider-Man took a deep breath. 】
The spacecraft flew across Titan's earthy yellow sky, revealing the vast expanse of massive mechanical wreckage, a testament to a once-thriving world now buried in the earth.
"We need to turn! Turn! Turn! Turn!" Spider-Man screamed in fear as he looked at the huge building so close.
[Mark 50 instantly enveloped Tony.]
[The spacecraft crashed directly into the building and instantly broke into several pieces.]
[Spider-Man's iron armor covered his entire body, and Strange even summoned a magic circle around them to prepare for the impact.]
The spaceship crashed heavily to the ground, then slid for several hundred meters before coming to a stop on the yellow-brown soil.
Tony gets up from the ground. Strange also removes the magic circle and holds out his hand. "Are you okay?"
"Ah! That was a close call!" Tony grabbed his hand and stood up, patting his arm and saying, "Thanks to you!"
At this moment, the little spider slowly descended from above, hanging upside down on the spider silk. It looked at them and said, "Let me make this clear! If any aliens jump up and lay eggs in my chest, and then I eat any of you, I apologize in advance!"
Tony was a little speechless, pointed at him and warned: "I don't want to hear your little brat quoting pop culture analogies again on this trip, you know?"
Spider-Man immediately explained, "I just wanted to say something's coming this way!"
[As soon as he finished speaking, a small ball rolled down to their feet and then exploded.]
[The three of them were caught off guard and were blown away.]
Of the three, Spider-Man possesses extraordinary abilities, and Tony is protected by the Mark 50, so both will be fine. Strange, however, is the most unlucky, crashing directly into the ship's hull and letting out a muffled groan.
Before Strange could get up, three figures ran out of the hatch, one of them yelling, "Thanos!!!"
Drax swung his dagger at Strange, who quickly summoned a magic shield to block it.
Seeing his attack had no effect, Drax roared in anger and was about to charge at him when the magic levitation cloak behind Strange rushed forward and wrapped around his head.
[The immense force even caused Drax to fall backwards to the ground.]
[Star-Lord didn't bother Drax. He thought the big, tough guy would be fine.]
[The thrusters under his feet activated, and he flew into the air, firing continuously at Tony on the ground.]
Tony decisively counterattacked, firing a rocket at Star-Lord. Although Star-Lord deftly avoided the direct hit of the rocket, he was unable to dodge the shockwave generated by the rocket hitting the machine, and was blown back.
Tony rushed up to him and hugged him, then spun around and used the momentum to throw Star-Lord out.
[Star-Lord quickly adjusted his posture in the air and landed smoothly on the ground. After gliding for a few meters, he steadied himself and pressed the button in his hand.]
It was then that Tony noticed that Star-Lord had attached a powerful magnet to his chest. With the press of a button, the magnet unfolded and attached Tony to a nearby machine.
[Even on the other side, the little spider lying on the ground after being blown away opened its eyes and saw Mantis with tentacles. It was immediately frightened and crawled back repeatedly.]
[While returning it, he said in horror: "Ait! Please don't lay eggs in my body!"]
[After saying this, he subconsciously shot spider silk at Mantis continuously, and soon Mantis was entangled tightly by him.]
[As he stood up and focused all his attention on Mantis in front of him, Star-Lord flew from behind him and kicked him away.]
"Get down, clown!"
[After saying that, he quickly fired at the little spider.]
Four legs popped out from behind Spider-Man, helping him jump up and dodge the attack. He then did a backflip onto the ceiling and landed on the other side, with Star-Lord's gun hot on his heels.
After dodging Star-Lord's attack, Spider-Man leaped towards him, but Star-Lord threw out his own restraints. Caught off guard, Spider-Man was immediately tied up along with his spider legs, and fell headfirst to the ground.
"This spaceship doesn't have an automatic landing function, how lame!" Tony frowned, feeling a little unbelievable.
Star-Lord spread his hands and said, "Whoa! Is it possible that Ebony Maw was thrown into space by you before he could even start up?"
Tony felt a little helpless when he heard this, "Is it my fault?"
Pepper nudged him gently, and Tony shrugged without saying anything.
The boiled egghead covered his head and was a little embarrassed to watch, but he started fighting without saying a word. It was okay.
"Great, great! After the Battle of the German Airport, there's now a Civil War, right?"
"It seems like you scared Peter quite a bit!" Natasha smiled at Mantis.
Mandis was a little confused, "Why? Am I ugly? Why would I scare him?"
Christine, who was sitting next to her, explained, "Because humans don't have tentacles!"
Gamora and Nebula each looked at their own skin and tilted their heads, thinking that the people on Earth were really surprised by things they had never seen before.
Banner raised his hand. "Don't worry, because ordinary people on Earth have never seen an alien in their lives! On the contrary, there are countless fantasy movies about aliens, and most of the images are negative, which naturally makes many people feel fear when facing aliens!"
Natasha nodded, "The unknown is the greatest fear!"
"But we can never figure it out! Right?" Banner looked at her and smiled.
"That's right! We'll figure it out!" Tony echoed Banner.
