I looked myself at the glass gate, I am wearing a pink off-shoulder prom gown, it has a deep cut that is showing-off my cleavage, and it has a slight cut from my lower thigh, showing off my left thigh, mom and Skylar are also wearing an elegant expensive gowns

We entered a luxurious hotel, where the party is held

I saw many peoples here, women trailing in their expensive gowns while men's are in their suit, even some are smoking and waiters are running with starters and refreshers

Kids are running around bumping into waiters, it's like a normal family gathering

Then, a beautiful woman, she has beautiful brown long hair and she is in a yellow expensive gown approached us, I thought she is a cousin of Adrian if, Mom doesn't acknowledge her as a sister-in-law, she is the sister of Adrian's dad, his aunt, I almost mistook her as an Italian supermodel

"Aubrey, it's been a long since I saw you," she said in her mesmerizing sweet voice to mom

"Indeed it is," mom said, and then she turned towards Skylar and wrapped her arms around her

Wow, Adrian's all the family members are very welcoming and very nice people, they all belong to posh and elite society

"Where is 'Ethan', Voilet?," mom asked

"He is Aunt Violet and Uncle Phil's son," she said while looking around like she is finding someone

A very handsome man the same age as Adrian is standing at the bar counter as he took his drink which the bartender makes for him

Mom and Aunt, went towards a group of ladies while Sylar brought me towards take me towards that guy

He smirked and wrapped his arms around me while giving me a side kiss over my cheeks making me look away as I bit my lips

"Well, finally I meet my sister-in-law," he said and I smiled at him while fidgeting fingers

"But, bro there is something, we have to do for her and Adrain's relationship," Skylar said

And Ethan's brows move instinctively upwards

Skylar continued "We have to make Adrian's jealous so, that he can distract from his workaholic schedule and spend time with her," Skylar said while nudging me

"Skylar, there is no need of this, trust me......," I started but she waved her hand in dismissal

"Sounds great, I love to tease my cousin Adrian, I will do it, just tell what is the plan," Ethan said to Skylar as his lips went upwards grinning.

"Closer To You” by Clairo was playing in the background as Ethan's arms are wrapped around my waist possessively, while mine are wrapped around his neck as we are dancing in this song, with other couples as Adrain's aunts and uncles, his family members are dancing here enjoying romantic dance round

Skylar grinned at us, while I shook my head at her, silently praying not to do it.

She pulled out her iPhone and video called Adrian

"I don't have time to waste Skylar, why you called me," I heard Adrian saying coldly to Skylar

"Hi, bro seems like you missed out on family gathering like always, see much much we all are enjoying here," she said while switching her phone in back camera showing it in my direction, where Ethan and I are dancing, Ethan quickly tightened his arms around me making my eyes widened, and pulled me more closer towards him, I quickly put my hands on his shoulders, with a small gasp, as he kissed my forehead

"What the hell," I heard Adrain's growling voice

Skylar put her hand over her mouth laughing so hard, while I felt Ethan's shoulders shaking, he is also laughing looking in Skylar's direction

She ran towards us, "you must have seen his face, he was jealous,"

"Seriously Skylar, you should have not to do this," I said to her

"Take a chill pill, sis just wait for some time, he will soon going to show his possessive side to you," she winked at me

"Come, let's eat something," he said but suddenly Skyler's phone buzzed

She glanced at the caller id

We went towards the food table, while he tells me many things about Adrian's childhood

Just as we are talking, I noticed a figure entering in party hall, I was

Jittering my foot against the floor, as I felt my adrenaline rush seeing him, he looked around like he is finding someone, just his eyes stop at me, then he quickly comes towards me, and I cover my face with my both hands because I know he will insult me here inform of everyone

"Hey, bro long time huh," Ethan said while wiggling his brows towards him, but he quickly took hold of my hand, ignoring Ethan and I gasped a little as he dragged me with him, I quickly snatched away my hand from him making him stop

"What are you doing," I said while massaging my wrist which he was holding so tightly.

He again grabbed my hand but before he can take me with him

"I don't want to come, Adrian," I said

while looking away

"What are you wearing," he said as his jaw clenched and I looked down at myself, oh I was wearing a low cut, deep neck gown, chosen by the Skylar and Mom

"Cloths," I shrugged

"And what about you are flirting with my cousin, did you forget that you are married," he narrowed his eyes at me

"The hell to this fake contract marriage," I snapped while coming closer to him

"What did your day," he said dangerously

"I said fuck this fake contract marriage, I am tired now of all this shit, this drama, just who the hell give you fucking right to accuse me and punish me, I am an independent human, not your slave, and when I said it's not my mistake that your fiance fell in love with my brother then it is, now it's up to you either believe In me or not," I

speak through the teeth with forced restraint while glaring hard at him

I have enough of this all drama by him, he has to accept that I am innocent and now I won't let him treat me like I'm shit, my patience is tested enough by everyone, now enough is enough that's it.
