Sad Reality

I come out of the mansion and went towards the bus station, If I want I can use that expensive luxurious car,

Adrain has but I remember when I was about to join his office, he warned me not to take anyone's help as he wants to take revenge on me, and want to torture me

Even I also don't understand why I did that promise to mom, it's completely meaningless that I will change Adrian, because he will ever in this whole life fall for me, and I think I am the last person expected on this earth to change him, I just don't know why mom and Skylar think that I am the only one who can change him.

I have no idea why he behaves like that day when he brings me to his mansion when he was missing me and touching every inch of my skin, I feel so good like I never felt like this before, I felt so safe and it feels like someone wants me too, I never felt like that when my uncle used to touch me in a bad way, I felt so disgusted but Adrian when he was touching me I felt like his touch is melting every inch of my body with my heart

I felt the bus getting bumped with speed breaker, making me jolted coming out from my thoughts

I took a long breath, and finally, bus stops, at my stop

I quickly come out of the bus and looked at the cafe, of Mrs.Glide

Oh sorry, I mean Bernice,

Since, the day, when I got married to Adrian, actually I went there to deliver to order of customer and I closed my eyes while breathing in and out excessively trying my best not to think about that incident anymore

Whatever happened is bound to happen, neither I nor anyone else can change it, but I can make sure that those people who think of me as their family didn't get hurt because of me

I opened the door and entered a cafe,

I can feel soreness in my eyes that fill with tears, breathing slowly, I made my way and again the aroma of fresh coffee with delicious pastries touched my nostrils making my tummy flutter

Suddenly, my first day when I come here looking for a job, comes in front of me, I closed my eyes

"Em," I quickly opened my eyes, when I heard the sky's voice, Sky is a delivery boy of this cafe and a true sweetheart for me

I quickly turned around and he quickly approached me and wrapped his arms around me so tightly cutting my breath supply

"Where have you been idiot, do even have any idea, how worried Mrs.Glide and everyone was for you," He said to me while slamming the food tray so hard on the table, frowning at me

"I am sorry, I know I bother you all so much," I smiled sheepishly at him

"You don't even know what we all were going through when we weren't  able to find you," he said to me

"I know," I stared at the floor, while long strands of my hair fall over my face preventing it to show my tears

Sky again wrapped his arms around me "Oh by the way how are you, now last time you have diarrhea," I asked him

I remember he has diarrhea that's why he was on leave, and Mrs. Glide asked me to deliver those cookies to him, and then I went to deliver it then....... I shook my head to blocking my mind to think about that incident

He frowned and tilted his head backward

"What are you saying, I never have diarrhea, Mrs. Glide herself gives me half-day holiday, and I went to a movie with my friends," he uttered looking at me

I felt my blood being freeze in my veins, I looked at him blinking rapidly

What the actual fuck is happening

If he didn't have diarrhea then why that day, Mrs.Glide sends me there by saying that sky is not well, having diarrhea,

I ran towards Mrs.Glide cabin, as I was about to enter it, I freeze at the place when I heard what she is talking about and with whom

"Yes, Sarah dont't worry you know me very well, I will always help you, even that day you called me for help saying that you need someone to replace you at your wedding, that's why I send Emberly lying to her that Delivery boy is not well,"

I quickly put my fist over my mouth chewing my lips so hard that I felt the taste of copper in my mouth,

Now, everything started to understand to me

Why Sarah comes to only me that day

Why suddenly Bernice ask only me to deliver, even there are other workers too

I slumped over the wall as I felt my eyes becoming sore, I shook my head and ran out from that cafe

I quickly come to a riverside park, and absently sat over grass there,

why me why only me God, what sin, I did since I was born that you choose this life for me

I closed my eyes and let my tears fall freely sometimes it's good to cry, it's good to let your emotions come

Everyone just used me and threw me like trash

I want to scream and let my frustrations out

Suddenly, my phone rang

I simply ignored it but it rang again, I growled and pick up that call finally without seeing who is calling me

"Why you did agree," I heard his deep voice

"What," I frowned

"Why did you agree to come to Paris with me, I don't want to see your face, then why did you agree dammit," he nearly shouted at me

"Mom wants me too, and I can't disobey her, I am not like you," I snapped and hang up the phone and switch it off

I put my hand over my head while looking down on the ground staring closely at the grass

Suddenly, I felt a presence beside me, I looked beside and found Eric staring at me so intensely

I shifted back, looking around, we were so close to each other, and I am now married to Adrian, I know it is a contract marriage but still the vows, the church, and god in it, with the priest there are real, and unfortunately, we are married so, it's inappropriate to me to stay this much close to any other men

"Hi," he whispered while looking into my eyes

"Hey," I smiled and waved at him

We stayed silent for sometime before he breaks the silence between us

"So, where have you disappeared suddenly as you never return after you went for delivery of food," he asked while looking at the river there is something wrong in his voice like he is upset

"What happened," he whispered

"I'm...I." I stutter swallowing while biting at my lips and shifted back from my spot, I looked away

"Let's not talk about this, it's a long story I will tell you later," I smiled while rubbing my hands together

My eyes stop at the ice-cream shop near us

"Wow," I murmured while looking at it

Eric quickly went there and brings two chocolate flavor ice creams for us

I quickly took it, "thank you, I need this so badly," I whispered while eating my ice cream

I felt Eric getting stiffen suddenly, while he looking at my hand, I frowned and looked at my hand, it's my and Adrain's wedding ring

"Y....you are married," he said while grabbing the fabric of his shirt in a fist

with frowned eyebrows

"Yes," I murmured while looking at the ground, since the day I married Adrain my life changed completely, marriage is the thing I never thought about

"H...How," he said while letting out a forceful breath

I pressed my lips together, I can't tell him the whole truth now

"Umm, a..... I meet my husband when I went for delivery, he helped me as I was stuck in a problem there, and he helped me to overcome from my problems, he said he fell love in at first sight for me and immediately wants to marry me as he doesn't want anyone to come between us," I smiled while chewing my cheeks from inside

"Who was he," he asked while his lips that are pinched tight

"Um, he is a businessman," I said

"What is his name," he asked as his voice getting rough

"Adrian," I said looking into his eyes

he started at my face for a minute when his eyes went slightly widened

"So, you are that mysterious girl, whom Billionaire Adrian Campbell, get married," he whispered

I frowned at him, "what do you mean," I asked him

"It's is in every newspaper and celebrity magazine about a mysterious girl whom the billionaire Adrian Campbell get married," he said as his eyebrows drew together, I can feel his voice getting cracked at the end like he is deeply hurt from inside

I put my hand over his shoulder, "are you alright," I asked him leaning inwards

"Nothing," he said as he shook his head while standing up looking around, and quickly went away from there leaving me alone.

What happened to him suddenly, he was behaving so strangely.
