Chapter 33

"How unruly fate is."

She breathed the words out as though she would hide it even from the lapping waves of the sea up ahead of her.

She was barefooted and her eyes were keen on the sea. She was looking as though she was expecting anything at the feeblest moment.

The waves of the sea were tumbling in gay and she could count the strokes of their sway. She used to ride on their wings before the curse and the banishment.

"To snatch my lover away from me."

She added. She took two steps closer to the sea. She wasn't as close as having the waves touch her legs.

She went on her knees and folded her arms over the large boobs.

She was wearing a pink gown. She was feeling very hot from within. She needed sex. She needed someone to have sex with.

She couldn't make a man but she could control whichever man she lay her eyes on.

She was looking keenly but there was nobody in sight.

She could still tame the urge for some while then attend to it later.

If Ja Lia had not sail on the sea, he wouldn't had drowned and wouldn't had been abducted.

She knew. She knew what Poseidon was capable of doing.

The only thing that was veiled to her was what task Poseidon would saddle him with. She was wishing dearly that she wouldn't have to destroy the man she was feeling very connected to.

She couldn't define the feelings yet. Ja Lia used to teach her about love. She couldn't say if she had fallen in love with him or not.

He had thought her how to have sex and he couldn't satisfy her. She had gone out in search of those who could satisfy her urge.

But she had had sex with his siblings in the search. He had discovered and got really mad at her. And he in annoyance had set sail and had drowned.

How was all her fault? If he hadn't proposed the sex idea, would she had discovered? And why was he even being selfish.

"Selfish!"

She said loudly and stood up. She was swelling within. There was something in the sea that was calling at her.

She was skeptical. She didn't know whether to heed or just stay where she was.

She couldn't control the urge. Twas as pulling as the urge to have sex.

She began to walk towards the wide arms of the sea.

She could read her own footprints. They were making an eerie call at the underground water.

It's been a while since she had done any magic. She hadn't even been welcome in the house Ja Lia had left for her.

Jimin and Lao Tzu had been on her neck. The youngest still wanted her badly. He loved the way she rode him. She could tell.

She had on countless times caused chaos between the two.

She wasn't taking a credit for it. Twas just a plague that she couldn't tame.

You know, she took a delight in being helpless at taming it.

She was drawing nearer to the sea. The waves seemed to be drawing closer. Like a baby who runs to meet her long gone father.

She felt deep down that what she was doing was pretty wrong but she didn't care.

She could feel that the possibility of crashing under the weight of her intended action was very overwhelming, yet she kept going.

She didn't seem to care anymore. Poseidon had taken the person she felt drawn to from her. Why would she remain on earth.

But then she remembered that a foetus had been forming in her since the last meeting with Ja Lia.

She was carrying his baby.

That was the only reason that could give her a reason of wanting to live.

Yet, she kept walking towards the waves till she put one of her legs in it.

She was about to put the second foot when she heard a noise from behind.

She immediately turned and saw a man waving his two hands.

She understood. The man thought she was going to commit a suicide.

Well, that was a thing to think. At least, her action was close to that.

She didn't want to heed the call of the man in the first place, but the man started jumping and running closer to her.

Then she took the first foot outta the water and turned to face the man.

Then he noticed the running man pointing at her back.

"What now?"

She muttered. She had stepped outta the water. She was backing the waves of the sea. She had done what the strange man wanted of her.

Why the charade now.

The man kept running towards her and pointing at her back. She decided to turn and see what the problem was.

Before she could make a sane turn, she felt hit from behind then swallowed.

The man got to her but twas way too late.

She felt like she was served gloom and all that encircled her was darkness.

Few moments later, she was beginning to regain her consciousness but something familiar but remote was happening.

She felt a mouth in her mouth. The mouth was gentle and was caressing hers.

Twasnt like the other mouths she was acquainted with. It wasn't ploughing hers. Twas mild, soft, seasoned, warm and delicate.

Ja Lia was the only person who could work her that hot.

She didn't understand what was happening. Some whiles ago, she was hit by something she didn't have the chance to figure out.

And now? Her mouth was being caressed and worked gently.

She opened her eyes to catch the message. Twas that man. The man she had seen earlier. The man who was running towards her.

Why was he kissing her? Why was he bent over her. He wasn't lying on her. He was only sucking her mouth at intervals.

"Goodness. She's back to life. See, I told you she'll be fine."

The man said as soon as he noticed her eyes opened.

She struggled to look around. She was lying on the earth far from the sea. There was no one with them. Just the two of them. Who then was the man referring to?

She could ignore that. She tried as much as possible to ask,

"Why kissing me?"

The man wasn't stunned. He chuckled and replied,

"You were hit by the waves. Haven't seen anything like that ever. Or have you?"

He turned again as though he was talking to someone beside him. Then he continued,

"I guess much. So, I rescued you. This is called, mouth-to-mouth. Usually done to bring a person made unconscious by water back to life."

"Do that again."

She said.

"For real? You seem fine now."

He was shocked. She chuckled and said,

"Just once more."

He thought for a while then pushed his shoulders up in agreement.
