Chapter 8 LOA 8
The weekend came by so quickly.
Adrianna was happy that she would be spending the whole of it with Elijah.
She wasn't really worried about Mustapha, since the last text he didn't call nor text her and she was glad.
She wished it would go on like that till he'd forget her but Mustapha being who is he was only laying low for some days.
Elijah was in the living when a letter came in. He checked the seal and saw it was for Adrianna, he called out for her from the kitchen.
"What happened?" with an apron around her neck and cleaning her hand on her jeans short.
He stretched out the letter to her "this is for you" she collected it from him, he returned his attention back to the TV show he was watching.
Adrianna went back to the kitchen, tearing open the letter. It was from the son of the devil, with a picture of them in her car having sex. the son of the devil had taken some shots with his phone.
In the letter addressed to her with a note of warning that if she tries anything smart he's going to ruin her.
She rested her arms on the table and rested her head against it, moving back and forth.
Adrianna knew she was finally done for. She heard Elijah's footstep and quickly hid the picture inside the apron and changed her facial expression, he entered the kitchen, eyeing the letter.
"What's in it?" he queried while scratching his stubble.
"An address from an old friend" she retorts fast. Her breathes sounding hard.
"Are you okay Babe?" he asked.
"Yeah I am, breakfast will be ready soon". he turned to leave but she called him back.
"Honey, I'd be going out later by 12 pm with Savannah. she wants to go shopping. I figured out I'd like to do some shopping too" she said her facial expression looking sexy to her fiancé.
He walked to where she was and hugged her from behind and kissed her.
"Have fun babes, make sure you settle me with foods" he shouted on his way back.
"Phew, that was close" she wiped her forehead with her palm.

"Adrianna c'mon hurry up" Savannah shouted, hands on her waist. Adrianna ran out to meet her adjusting her long sleeve see-through top.
"I'm sorry" she apologized smiling, Adrianna adjusted her spectacles and sat behind the wheel, while Savannah took a seat at the front passenger seat. She ignited the car.
Savannah rummaging through her friend's bag for the letter and pictures she received earlier that morning.
"That guy is a mad man" she hissed.
They got to the clinic and headed for Dr. Raymond Hannah's office.
"Hi Savvy" she smiled lovingly and opened her arms out, she quickly embraced her.
"It been a while, Savvy" she gestured for them to take a seat.
"You must be Adrianna, your friend already told me about you, so I had to reschedule the appointments for today," Dr. Hannah said, her gaze on Adrianna.
Nervously chewing on her lips "yeah I am" She looked elsewhere, not catching the therapist's gaze. As if the woman knew she told Savannah to excuse them.
"I'd be in the cafeteria, meet me there" she nodded at her and squeeze her shoulder lightly and left.
Dr. Hannah removed her glasses on the table and folded her arms on the table, she spoke.
"Now it's just me and you, feel free to say and ask anything, I'm here to help you okay," she said.
"Okay" Adrianna nods now looking at the woman in from of her.
"First I’d like to recommend you to the gathering we have every Wednesday and Friday night at the hall here in this clinic, for women and men who feels they are addicted to sex and there are other gatherings with their own specific dates and time, depending on the case though, so how bout you show up at the gatherings, it could be helpful too, you get to meet other people and interact with one another on how and what you do to quench the sexual urges." She told Adrianna, she gave it a thought and agreed to show up and was given a card.
The woman then said calmly "now its time to answer questions, so firstly how often do you have sex, Adrianna?"
"Okay" she sighs and tuck a strand of hair behind her ear "since I started having sex, from high school, it was mostly weekends or when I'm out drunk with friends and I and my ex sneaks away, that's it, and then in college, I stayed away because I went through some hard stuff I mean family issues, I had to live with my Dad after he and my Mom left and I never heard from my mom like that and my dad had to remarry, so it was just him doing the whole parental things even though I was already of age as a teenager, well I was sixteen. And after college I met this guy and it was an abusive relationship, so most times the sex was always forced, he always begs me for it, more like me having sex most days of the week and it went haywire between us, those years I tried to get out of it, to come out of my shell, putting the past behind me when I feel the urge to have sex, I have three guys I do it with, they just didn't know they had their days. I stopped having sex with them when I met Elijah and its the same thing too, sometimes I follow him to travel and on those days I don't go with him, I help myself with the dildos, he knows I have dildos" she had said everything in a rush and patting the table, she relaxed back on her chair.
"You said something about being in an abusive relationship and he has to beg for it, how, what do you mean? The therapist asked.
She rolled her eyes and sucked in her cheeks, breathing out.
"I don't like talking about it but here it is, he was a temperamental person, so when something goes wrong for him, he takes it out on me, he beats me and then when he wants to have sex and he knows that I'm gonna refuse, he starts rubbing my thighs and kissing it so I just give in and then the sex happened, if you care to know what happened next, the last time he hit me, I was pregnant, he knew I was and I started bleeding internally, I managed to dial 911 while I was in the hospital I was told he was in jail, I told my father and stepmom I didn't want to press charges, we broke up and he left the state, although he was full of regrets I didn't care" she ended smiling cynically.
"I'd say you're a sex addict, Dr. Hannah replied. Your body has gotten used to that special way of touches.
And your sexual urges take control before you think about refusing, so you give in to it". she paused. Standing up to fill herself a glass of water and set it on her table, she did the same for Adrianna.
"Shall we continue ma'am?" she asked with a smile. Adrianna nodded.
You should know this Adrianna having a high sex drive isn't bad and it's not a problem if your thoughts about sex don't take over you, when I say sexual urges aren't bad, I mean having sex most days with someone who satisfies you. If you have that, it means you don't need to think about sex when you're at work, in the kitchen or when you're alone, you can be with your man decides to do something else rather than having sex. Let me ask you this question who has the most sexual urges between you and your man?"
"Me" she replied with her head bent and playing with her proposal ring.
The sexual therapist stood up from her chair, turning the chair beside Adrianna to sit while facing her, Adrianna turned her chair to face the therapist.
"Isn't he satisfying your craves, your sexual craves?" she corrected.
"Yes he does" she replied.
"You couldn't get enough satisfaction from the dildo too I presume, well people are different and you definitely thought because other women do it without having problems, yours would be like that too, it doesn't work that way, what works for your neighbor might not work for you, I hope you understand?" she held her hand in hers.
"Adrianna you're a beautiful woman, if you love your man enough, you should talk to him, tell him about what's going on, explain to him and as for the other guy, I guess if you and your husband settled yourselves first, then who knows what might happen to him, I can't really say much on that part for now. My dear, I'll see you on Wednesday night, do have a nice day" thank you I really appreciate the time and everything.
Adrianna said as she begins to walk out of the office. Adrianna, she looked back at the therapist.
"Whenever you're alone, find a book to read or do something to clear the thoughts away from your mind and I know the options of telling your husband and taking things into your hands is heavily weighing on your mind, I believe you're strong and you'd do the right thing, have a nice day once again" Adrianna left and closed the door behind her.

"Savannah, she waved her hands in the air to get her attention. "Let's go shopping" she added. She hurriedly stood up to meet her.
"How did it go," she asked
"It was fine" she replied rolling her eyes, neither of them mentioned what the therapist had told her.
The shopping of clothes and bags and other things took the thought of Mustapha away from her mind.
Outside the boutique, the breeze that blew around her was calm, she felt like it meant something though, since when does she count something like that meaningful, but she didn't care to lay much emphasis on it, dropping the bags full of wears and bags into the back seat of her car.
The drive to the house was quite full of silence and they both welcomed it they seemed to not mind.
Savannah kept taking a glance now and then at Adrianna who has been inhaling and exhaling deep breathes. She drove into the driveway and parked the car, they both got out and Savanna was struggling to carry her shopping bags, Adrianna helped her balance it in her hands.
"Thanks for helping me out, I really appreciate it," Adrianna ssaid
"You're very much welcome, its the least I could do babes" she pouted her lips and hug her.
Adrianna got into the house and was met with the biggest shock of her life. Her heart did a flip flop, the bags of what she was holding fell to the floor with a thud.
