100. Someone leaked it.
Deangelo.
I felt like I was walking on clouds. The sun was shining bright, and the breeze was just right. I could not help but whistle a tune that had been stuck in my head all day. It was a new feeling for me, this lightness that seemed to have lifted the heavy burden I carried for years.
I had a spring in my step and a smile on my face. The past few weeks had been nothing short of amazing. I was convinced that I had found something special in Elena, something I had never experienced before.
I recalled the conversation with my son, Diego from the other day. Diego had questioned me about my whistling, noticing it was out of the ordinary. I had been hesitant to share my newfound joy, but seeing the spark in Diego's eyes, I had opened up. It felt good to be honest and share this happiness with someone.
I realized that I no longer worried about the speed at which my relationship with Elena was progressing. I trusted my gut instinct that told me to make her happy and to see her smile. It was a feeling I had not had in a long time, and I was grateful for it.
I strode into my study happily. The morning air was crisp and refreshing, and I felt like nothing can dampen my mood. However, as I rounded the corner, I saw Luca waiting for me. Luca looked serious, and I immediately knew that something was wrong.
"Morning, Luca," I greeted him. "What's going on?"
Luca's expression darkened as he spoke. "We've hit a snag with our plans for the Philippines," he said. "The deal has fallen through."
I felt my heart sink. This was a huge blow - the Philippines expansion was a crucial part of our business strategy. "What happened?" I asked, my voice tense.
Luca handed me a document, and my eyes flicked over the words. It was a detailed plan of our expansion strategy, including financial projections and target markets. I felt my anger rising as I realized that this document was meant to be confidential - only a handful of people knew about the deal.
"Where did this come from?" I demanded, turning to face Luca.
"It came from your office," Luca replied grimly. "Someone leaked it."
I felt a surge of frustration and betrayal. I have always prided myself on running a tight ship - how could something like this happen?
My blood was boiling with anger as I stared at the rearranged documents on my desk. How could this have happened? I was always so careful with the confidentiality of my business deals. But now, someone had breached my trust and compromised the future of the pack’s company. I tried to calm myself down and assess the situation objectively.
I scrutinized every inch of my office, trying to figure out how someone could have infiltrated it. My eyes catch on the bookshelf, and I noticed that some of the books were not in their usual places. I approached the shelf and ran my fingers along the spines, trying to identify the ones that were out of place.
As I reached for a book that was slightly askew, I noticed that the dust on its cover had been disturbed. I narrowed my eyes, my mind racing with the possibilities. I had to find out who had done this and why. My instincts told him that there was more to this than just a simple leak of information.
My gaze fell on the portrait of the kids and I on the wall. I took a deep breath and focused my mind on the problem at hand. I needed to find out who the traitor was before it was too late. I would not let anyone bring my company and pack down. I would protect what I had built with my blood, sweat, and tears.
My mind was working at a hundred miles per hour, trying to make sense of the situation. How could someone be so brazen as to break into my office and steal confidential documents?
As I pieced together the puzzle, my anger gave way to a fierce determination. I knew that I had to find out who was responsible for this breach of trust. It was time to call in some favors, pull some strings, and get to the bottom of this. My alpha instincts had kicked in, and I was not going to rest until I found the culprit.
I walked out of my study, feeling a fire burning inside me. My mind was racing with questions: Who would do such a thing? Why would someone want to sabotage our plans? I had to find out, and fast.
I immediately called Luca and instructed him to pull up the security footage from my study. As he rushed off to do my bidding, I ordered the rest of the staff to stay put until we got to the bottom of this. No one was going anywhere. As I made my way through the house, my eyes were peeled for any signs of suspicious activity. And that's when I saw Sofia. She had been avoiding me ever since her return to the house, and I couldn't help but feel uneasy about her sudden reappearance.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her, my voice cold and unwelcoming.
Sofia stumbled over her words, trying to come up with a plausible excuse. But her eyes darted nervously around the room, betraying her fear
I decided to just let her be, for now. I had more important things to focus on after all, I had to get to the bottom of this, and fast. Whoever was behind this leak was playing a dangerous game, and I wasn't about to let them win.
I got into my car and led some men around and out of the Ferrari estate. The sun was high in the sky, casting a golden glow across the rolling hills that surrounded our land. We rode past fields of wheat and corn, orchards laden with ripe fruit, and forests teeming with wildlife. It's a breathtaking sight, but I was focused on the task at hand.
While we rode, I surveyed the land with a keen eye, searching for any signs of intrusion. I checked the perimeter fences, inspected the gates, and examined the patrol paths. But everything seemed to be in order. As the day wore on, I resoled to returning to the estate, frustrated and tired. I met with Luca again, hoping to get some answers about the leak. That was when Luca dropped a bombshell - he had let Andrew, Mia’s boyfriend, onto our home at night. My anger boiled over at the stupidity of my beta.
I paced back and forth, my mind racing. I could believe that someone I trusted could be so reckless with our security. I ordered Luca to find something and bring them to me immediately.
I headed outside to the stables, needing to clear my head. I took out my horse and began to groom it, running my hands over its silky coat. The repetitive motion helped calm me down, and I tried to think of a way to prevent something like this from happening again.
