25. I did not raise a bully.
Elena.
I moved closer as I gave Mia a once over. Her golden hair was in a ponytail. She was wearing a tule and the ballet shoes, all pink. and her skin was porcelain clear and she has the prettiest eyes. She’s actually very attractive underneath all her mean look.
"I asked you girls a question, what do you think you are doing?!" I repeated as sternly as I could muster.
"What's it to you? Who are you?" One of the girls questioned giving me an irritated look while I took my mask off.
"I am an adult who caught you use those hands on her just few seconds ago!" I snapped, visibly pissed.
"Well, adult... how about you mind your own business instead of you going around poking your nose into what you weren't invited to, uh?" Another girl said and it was then that I noticed that two of the girls were very identical in looks and everything. They were obviously twins. The only odd one out was the beautiful brown skin black haired one amongst them who also looked like she'd rather be anywhere but here. It isn't hard to note that she was just a follower of the twins.
"Well, guess what. This is actually my business because I am Mia's Nanny!" I said, sternly.
They all looked at Mia and then back at me before they erupted into high pitched laughters that gave me the urge to cover my ears. "It's no wonder that you're such a pushover and baby, I mean who even needs a nanny as a teenager?" One of the twins said while the other girls laughed some more.
"Yes, I'm sure made life so miserable for her mom until the poor woman had to kill herself just to get away from her." The other twin said and I decided that I had heard enough.
Who raised these kids?
"Will you shut your Filthy mouths and get away from her? Ugh! Be aware that we are going to take this up with you two!" I yelled as they walked away, while laughing maniacally.
Little bitches.
I looked back at Mia who had tears welled up in her eyes and even before I could say anything, she held a hand up, "I'm fine. I was okay. You... you didn't need pokenose, I can handle myself quite alright."
I sighed and then shrugged while giving her a tight-lipped smile.
"Why are you here anyways?" She asked, looking confused.
"To watch your performance of course. Your daddy is here too and so is Diego. We can't wait to watch you do your absolute best and own that stage today. We are so going to cheer you right on as you dance beautifully. I'm very sure that you're the best at this so I want you to out whatever those girls said aside and do you." I said to her.
She scoffed, "well... guess who has been taken off the showcase? Me. So I think you all should have sat your butts at home instead of coming over here cos you definitely aren't seeing me on that stage." She said dejectedly.
I looked at her, confused. "What? What are you talking about? You're in your costume all dressed and ready, yet you aren't dancing?"
She simply shrugged as she began to walk away, to what seemed to be a field. People walked around to and fro and so did buying and selling of various things went on. I followed her, worried but just then we heard Mr. Deangelo's stern voice behind us, we turned on our heels and he was already right in front of us.
"Mia... you are going to come with me right now and apologize to your friends! I didn't raise a bully and I'm so tired of your mean and rude attitude." He snapped at her while we both stared at him, confused.
"Dad, what are you talking about?" Mia asked while I nodded.
"What do you think I'm talking about, those girls came complaining to Grace, their mom about some girl named Mia Ferrarri who has been bullying them since they started high-school. They even described you as the class bully and mean girl stating how you bully a lot of your classmates and what not." Mr Deangelo explained and I immediately looked behind him to see the same twin girls who I had seen minutes ago, they both had this fake look of teary kids on but one of them stuck her tongue out at me.
"But... that's a lie, dad. That's such a horrible lie!" Mia said, visibly shaken by what her father was spilling.
"Of course you'll say that... but their mom have just testified to it since her kids comes home everyday terrified and bruised. Talking about how one Mia Ferrari has been bullying them, she even says she was planning on getting the school authorities involved. Look, you're going to go over there to those girls and you're going to apologize to them like you actually mean it, you'll do that until that accept your apology for all you've done to them!"
I couldn't take this scenery anymore so I stormed towards the girls who were now hiding behind their Mom, "is that the lie that you guys cooked up? Uh? How dare you frame her up like that?" I yelled, annoyed.
"What are you doing, Elena?" Mr. Deangelo snapped.
"Oh please. Just stop it, how can you just take the side of some strangers over your own daughter?" I snapped at him, angry.
He looked shocked at my outburst but managed to compose himself in time, "Well, I am not the kind of father who would support his daughter's evil blindly. I'm going to scold and correct her when necessary, I would not raise a bully under my own roof!" He snapped.
"Oh, of course, that's all you ever do, scold and scold and scold, instead of actually asking her questions, you scold! You do not even know who's right or wrong here but what do you go ahead to do? You scolded her. Do you even know who the victim here is? I caught these girls bullying Mia minutes ago, one of them even dared to use her hands on Mia and they even use her mom to mock her in ways that shouldn't even be acceptable." I yelled.
"My daughters would never do that." Grace chipped in and I immediately throw a glare her way.
"Oh, shut it already, will you? And try to raise your kids properly!" I snapped.
"What... are you..." Mr. Deangelo started but just before he could land, Mia took to her heels and she ran away to God knows where.
I threw another glare in Mr. Deangelo's direction just before I started to walk in the direction that she ran.
