History just repeated again

Divya POV

It's been two days since that lift incident happened with Daksh. And, my head is still recalling his words. My brain isn't letting go of his accusations.

In these two days, we didn't talk to each other. I am trying to avoid him at all costs. He even once called me, but I just ignored him. He's not his usual self. He is very moody and angry at his staff. I sighed.

I entered the studio, and my gaze landed on Daksh. He was smiling while talking to Hema. As soon as he saw me, his smile faded. He hurriedly left the studio, ignoring me completely.

Its hurts whenever he ignores me.

"Divya, I have been waiting for you since a long time, and finally you're here!" Hema pulled me.

"Today we are going to shoot Beach Wear costume. I want to end this Beachwear session soon" Hema said, giving me the costume. I opened it and saw a two-piece dress.

Oh god! I'm not comfortable to wear this two piece. I know being a model. I have to wear this. However, I-I-I just can't. Especially not in front of Ankit (camera man). He is such a pervert and a disgusting man.

"Hurry up Divya, put on the first one" Hema told me.

"Hema, I'm sorry but I can't wear this costume" I told her.

"What do you mean Divya? You are already signed for Mr.Smith's project. You can't back off now. Otherwise, Daksh sir will fire you" Hema explained me.

Oh! Daksh knows that I'm going to wear this two-piece costume. These are all his plans because he knows that I'm not comfortable in this type of dress. That's the reason he wanted me in this project. Now, I understand his true intention. He wants to test my tolerance level.

He is challenging me indirectly? Okay then I accept this challenge Daksh Mehra.

I headed to the changing room. It didn't take me long to put on the red dress. I was looking myself in the mirror.

"No, I can't do this. I'm not going out like this in front of everyone" I told myself. Tears were forming in my eyes. Because of him, I'm going through this.

I kept telling myself.

I looked at myself in the mirror for one last time. Sighing, I took a deep breath. This is my chance to fulfill my promise to my mom. I looked at my mom picture in my mobile and ran my fingers across her photo.

"I will fulfill your dream mom" I said.

I blew out a bit breath. I slipped into the silk robe, before taking a deep breath and stepping out.

I hate you Daksh!

Once I was out, I was grabbed by team of hair and make up artists. After thirty minutes, I was led to the shooting spot.

I slowly took off my robe. Ankit's eyes were scanning every inch of my body. I felt disgusted.

I was going to pose in front of the camera half naked. Before Ankit shoots my photo, suddenly the studio door bursts out open and all our eyes turned towards the person who is none other than Daksh Mehra.

His gaze landed on mine. He is looking very angry, like ready to kill everyone in this world.

Now, what happened to him?

He took two long strides towards me. "You are going to change the dress right now" Daksh ordered me.

The nerve of him!

"I am not going to do any such thing that's coming from your mouth" I replied stubbornly.

He leaned closer. "Don't be stubborn Divya. Go and change the damn dress. I don't have all day to argue, change your dress right now" He said in a deadly tone. I raised my eyebrows.

"What do you think about me? First, you want me to wear this dress. And now you want me to change it. What do you think about me? Am I your puppet? I am not changing my dress just because you want it. And for the last time, stop ordering me, around" I yelled at him.

The whole studio was watching our fight with wide eyes. However, I don't care. He can't order me like this whenever he wants.

Enough is enough!

"Don't be stupid, Divya. Go, first change your dress. Then we will talk personally" Daksh told me in a soft tone.

"What part of NO did you not understand? I'm not going to change. And don't you have something better to do than to order me around?" I yelled at him.

"You are my model Divya, and if I want I can order you to change your dress, is that clear?" He said arrogantly.

"No" I said stubbornly and told Ankit(camera man) to shoot my photo. I turned to going to the camera spotlight. Just then my back dress strap was ripped by someone. My bare back is in the full view of people eyes. I gasped in shock and turned to seeing Daksh holding my dress strap in his hands.

I didn't obey his words, so he ripped my dress off in front of everyone!

How dare he? Is he a human?

I am done with his crap. Without thinking twice, I connected my hand with his cheek, and the whole studio went silent. Hema gasped loudly.

SMACK!

A few minutes passed by and everyone just stood there in silence looking at me as if I did a crime. They started to whisper in each other's ears.

I looked at Daksh, who had my palm mark across his face. "Don't ever touch me you monster" I ran to the changing room, covering myself with my hands. I changed my dress quickly and burst out crying.

Daksh ripped my dress! How can he do this to me? He didn't even think about my dignity.

I hate him! I hate him so much!

"I will never forgive you for this Daksh" I said, crying.

Suddenly, the studio door opened. I raised my head and saw Hema coming towards me. She hugged while consoling me.

"I'm sorry Divya. This is all because of me. If I wouldn't have told you to wear the dress, this wouldn't have happened" she told me sadly.

"Sir already told me not to make you wear the beach costume. He didn't even know that today you are going to wear the beach costume" Hema said.

What? Daksh didn't know that I'm going to wear that costume?

"I'm sorry. It's my fault" Hema said lowering her head.

"Its not your fault Hema. This is all because of that Daksh. How can he rip my dress in front of everyone?" I asked her while crying, but Hema looked at me with a shocked face.

"Oh god Divya! You are misunderstanding him. Sir, didn't rip your dress. It's completely an unexpected accident" Hema told me. I looked at her with wide eyes.

"Wh...what are you saying an acc...accident? What do you mean?" I asked her in shock.

"Divya, when you turned around to go to camera spotlight. Sir tried to stop you by holding your shoulder. But before that happened, his wrist watch got stuck in your dress strap. When sir tried to pull back his hand and you, at the same time, took one step forward. So your dress was ripped because your dress strap was stuck it his wrist watch. But you thought that sir ripped your dress" Hema explained me. My whole world was spinning around me.

Oh god! There is nothing I can do to undo what I did! I misunderstood Daksh. I even slapped him in front of his staff!

I want this moment want to die. He is only telling me to change my dress because he knew that I'm not comfortable in that type of dress. He is trying to help me, but I—I slapped him. I humiliated him!

History just repeated again!

"How am I going to face him? I am ashamed at myself Hema" I told and started crying.

"Divya first say sorry to him. Tell him how much you regret your actions" Hema advised me.

"Yes, you are right. I need to ask his forgiveness immediately, without any delay" I told and stood up. I immediately rushed to his cabin.

"I'm so sorry, my love" I spoke to myself in a whisper.
