Chapter 16: Who Is This Man?

. When the girls walk in and flop down in the chairs by the couch, Jaime asks, “So, what’s for dinner tonight?”

Kelly leans closer to him and murmurs, “Grayson’s offered to make us chili, so I accepted. I figured you girls would love it.”

Lilly wonders, “Mom, why can’t he make every meal? His food always tastes great. I would clean up my plate all the time if he was here making the food.”

Kelly smiles before whispering, “We’ll I’m sure he appreciates hearing that from you, but he has his own house. He can’t be here all the time.”

“Why? You two could just get married, then he could be our dad and it would be perfect. He would never have to leave.” Lilly wishes as she asks softly.

She gasps before replying, “Lilly, we don’t just talk about stuff like that. You and I are going to have a long conversation later about what is appropriate when company is here.”

Kelly turns to Grayson and says, “I’m sorry, she usually isn’t this outspoken.”

“Really, it’s o.k. I would not mind having such a wonderful family. It seems quite nice. After all, I was adopted and an only child.” He starts to look a little sad.

“Oh, I am so sorry.” She says sadly as she turns and wraps her arms around him.

“Don’t be, they are very kind and loving people. Matter of fact, soon they will be back in town, and I would like you to be able to meet them. I really think that they will adore you. They would love all of you.” He says softly before nodding to Kelly and the girls.

Jaime’s face lights up, “I think that would be very nice.”

Lilly walks over to Grayson and gives him a hug. She looks up at him and states unexpectedly, “I’m glad you’re here. I really like you.”

“I like you too, Lilly.” He replies sweetly as he smiles back at her.

She gives him a kiss on the cheek and asks, “So when are you going to make dinner?”

He laughs and asks, “How about right now?”

Lilly claps her hands and exclaims, “Yes!”

“O.k. then, I guess I am off to the kitchen. I hope you are all hungry?” He asks glances at them as he walks into the kitchen.

About thirty minutes later he comes out of the kitchen with a big pot of chili. He puts it on the table. “Dinner’s ready.” He says as he gestures to everyone to sit down. Jaime and Lilly run to the table before anyone else can get there, then Kelly and Samantha sit down. They pass around the plates.

Lilly gets excited and declares, “These smell so delicious! Thank you so much.” Before it gets very quiet as they all enjoy the meal.

Lilly gets done first and then she burps before stating, “Thank you so much.”

She rubs her belly and then runs to her room. Afterwards, Jaime finishes eating and says, “Thank you, Grayson. Mom, I must finish my report that’s due tomorrow. I might be up a little later to get it done. Is that alright?”

“Of course, just make sure you get some sleep tonight.” Kelly says and sounds worried as Jaime makes her way to her room.

When Samantha starts picking up the plates off the table, Kelly takes the rest of them to the kitchen. Grayson grabs the leftovers and puts them in the fridge. “So, what are you guys going to do tonight while I’m at work?” Samantha asks.

He grins before replying in a whisper, “I plan on banging your sister all night long. What did you have in mind, Kelly?”

“All joking aside, I thought that if you were going to be here for a while, maybe we can watch something.” She says while staring him down.

“Well, I must go to work. Don’t have too much fun.” Samantha adds as she laughs and then heads towards the door.

A few minutes after she leaves, he kisses her neck softly and whispers in Kelly’s ear, “So do you want me to stay for a while? We could watch a movie or something.”

“Yes, I want you to stay. Let’s watch a movie.” She replies while licking her lips and gazing at him. She sits down on the couch and then he sits right next to her. So close that their knees touch.

She puts on a movie and then goes into the kitchen to make popcorn. When she returns, she sits next to him and points to the popcorn before asking curiously, “Do you want some?”

“That looks really good.” He says as his mouth starts to water.

He takes a handful and pops it into his mouth before crunching and then stating, “This is really buttery, just the way I like it.” Before he licks his fingers and grabs some more.

She smirks and then jokes lightly, “You really like that, don’t you? Finger licking’ good.”

He laughs, “You’re finger licking good too.”

While playing around, she hits him in the arm and states sarcastically. “Knock it off and watch the movie.” Even though she grins secretively inside.

“Ow, that hurts.” He shouts while pouting.

“Oh, let me kiss it and make it feel better.” She kisses his arm, then she gives him a sweet, soft kiss on the lips.

“I’m sorry.” She says sweetly while looking seductively into his eyes.

“Now we really should pay attention to the movie.” She states in a matter-of-fact tone of voice before she quickly turns to see what is happening on the screen. They both relax and watch the T.V. A little while later, Lilly appears and sits on the couch by Kelly.

“Hey, is the movie any good mom?” Lilly asks inquisitively while looking confused.

“Yeah, it’s pretty good. Why don’t you watch the rest of it with us?” Kelly pats the couch next to her and then leans over to hug her.

Lilly looks at Grayson and asks with a frown on her face, “Will you make breakfast in the morning again?”

“If I’m here I will.” He says as he glances at Kelly with a questioning look on his face.

“Mom, can he sleep over again? Please?” Lilly begs.

Kelly rolls her eyes, “I never dreamed in a million years that my daughter would be begging for a guy to sleep over, just so she can get breakfast in the morning. Yes, he can stay the night if he wants.”

“Are you going to?” Lilly asks Grayson while looking up at his face.

“Sure.” He looks at Kelly with a grin.

Lilly smiles and runs over to him. She gives him a big hug and then turns to Kelly. “I’m going to bed mom, love you. Goodnight Grayson, I will see you in the morning.” Lilly gives Kelly and Grayson a hug goodnight.

She walks to her room slowly and Kelly shuts off the movie before shaking her head while murmuring, “I can’t believe Lilly begged for you to stay the night. It is just weird.”

“Maybe she just wants a dad. Girls her age often need stability. It just sounds like she is happy to have a guy in the house again.” He chimes in while raising an eyebrow.

“I know, I am.” She whispers while she caresses his face. Her lips brush against his as she leans towards him for a kiss. “Shall we go to bed?”

She touches his thigh, and his heart starts to beat faster. He kisses her very affectionately, then grabs her and he pulls her to the bedroom. Shutting the door behind them, he leans her up against the wall, kissing her deeply as he pulls off her pants, then her shirt quickly. All the time while kissing every inch of her naked skin along the way.

After pulling his own pants off, he picks her up and begins to make love to her because she is all wet and hot for him. Her legs wrap around him as she moves with him. “Give it to me harder.” She whispers in his ear as he thrusts deeper into her.

She moans and then shivers before he slows down almost to a stop and then climaxes as he moans so loudly Kelly could swear that the girls will hear them. They kiss again, gentler this time, as his grip loosens on her, and he lets her down slowly.

“I really do love you. I love you so much that when I’m not with you, you are all I think about. It’s very hard to work, I tell you.” He whispers as he reminds her. His hand brushes the hair from her eyes. He kisses her again softly before asking, “Would you like to go to bed now?”

“Yes, I think we probably should. I must get the girls off to school in the morning.” She says while looking at him sweetly.

She picks up her clothes and puts them into the hamper and slips under the sheet. He pulls his sweaty shirt off and gets in beside her before curling up next to her and spooning with her.

“I love feeling and smelling you on me. It makes me feel so peaceful and happy.” She says as she kisses his palm and then she lays her head down on the pillow.

He watches her sleep for a few minutes before his eyes get too tired to stay open. After about an hour, she starts dreaming again. This time she wakes up and notices that Grayson is really hard. He is staring at her strangely as he kisses her neck and then takes her from behind. Surprised, she gasps and starts to moan.

He grabs her breast and flicks her nipple as he pinches the one on the other side. She moves with him and grabs her pillow to soften her moaning before he takes a hold of her hip and thrusts harder into her. Filling her completely, he gasps and then lays on his back.

She turns over and gets on top, because he smirks with this come hither look on his face as she notices that he is still hard. As she moves up and down, she moans loudly and digs her nails into his shoulders to steady herself. At the same time, he slides his hands on her body and revels in the softness of her skin. While leaning down to kiss him, she can feel something different about him.

It does not feel right. When she looks into his eyes, she gasps because she swears those are not his beautiful eyes, but those of someone else she knows. She pauses for a second as she explodes in ecstasy and then collapses on him before laying kisses all over his chest. She lays down on the bed next to him as a Cheshire Cat smile spreads across her lips.

“Goodnight, again.” She whispers.

“Goodnight, to you too.” He replies softly into her ear. Afterwards, they both shut their eyes and Kelly begins to wonder what is different.
