Epilogue 3: The End but not for us

When Senior and I came to where my friends stood, Wil said,"Sam and I would have been couple right now."

My eyes was almost popped out of my sockets. 'What!?'

Why am I feeling like someone giving me death stare.

When I looked at Senior, he was already looking at me in a scary way.

And Blair was hiding her laugh.

Wil continued after a gap,"Unfortunately she rejected it. Sam didn't like me because she had her eyes only on our Senior."and teased me.

I let out a relieved breath.

I said,"if your gonna speak something. Please don't leave a pause."and sighed.

Wil, Blair, Clara, david, Ace laughs.

Calix still continued his stare at me.

"By the way why are we talking about this?",I asked.

"I was retelling how I got back with Blair.", Wil said.

"Good. Actually Mom told me to get some flowers so... you guys can continue. I'll be back.",I bid them and started to walk.

Calix was still standing among them. I called out him,"Senior! Flowers will be heavy. I think I'll be needing a extra hand."

Senior and I left to the flower shop.

Inside car,

Senior started,"You said you confronted. But now... it seems like... you aren't."

"yes. I didn't.",I replied.

"Can I ask?"

"The flower shop is here. You'll wait here. I'll go get it."

"Don't need any help?"

I giggled while saying,"I don't think bride's boughet will be that heavy."

In flower shop,

Alan handed over me the flowers,"Here. This is the one your mom ordered."

"It looks pretty.",I said with a bright smile.

I took a look around the shop. The new varieties caught my eye. "Wow.. so there's new arrival?"

Since I started dating Senior I give him a flower whenever I saw him. Since this my friend Alan's shop he'll always notify me when new arrivals comes.

"Yes. Came this morning. Wanna see?"

I got all excited,"Definitely!"

I walked around the shop. I spotted Iris, carnations, Daffodil, Aster which looked so beautiful.

The small sized purple flower caught my eye.

Statice. Which is also known as Sea lavenders.

"I like this so much. How much is it?"

"20 dollars."

"Oh no. I just got 15 dollars with me. Can I give the remaining afterwards."

"Hey Sam! You don't have to pay at all. Your the one who insisting on paying for flowers."

Alan picked up the flower,"This flower is always free for this pretty girl."and teased me.

"We'll buy it.", All of sudden Senior appeared from nowhere.

"Okay. I'll then pack it up for you.", nervously gave a smile and went for packaging thing.

"pretty?... Who is he... And why does he calling you pretty? Do you know him?"

I stared at Senior and teased,"Are you jelly?(laughs) he's my friend from high school. You don't have to worry about that. Since... He already got a girlfriend.(smiles)

(Jelly - jealous)

Alan came back with the packed flowers,"Here."gave a small smile. I think he got startled by Senior.

Suddenly Senior put his hands over me.

I giggled again.

I thanked Alan and left to the Car.

In car,

I caressed the flower.

"Why didn't you tell him?", Senior started again.

"Don't you have anything to talk about? Apart from this."

"I just want to know why you didn't say to him?"

"Even if I told him. What are you expecting to happen?"

Senior stopped the car suddenly.

He asked,"Are you regretting???"

"What?...No...I didn't say it in that way."

"Then what are you implying here?"

"Senior. It's already time. Mom will be waiting for the flowers. Let's get going.",I said calmly.

"Didn't you know it's time when you're talking with that florist?",his voice sounded intense.

I bolted,"Why are we talking about Alan now?... Ok. I think your in the mood for argument. But I'm not. So start the car now."

Senior gripped the steering wheel while saying,"I won't! until I get the reason."

"FINE!!!"

I got out of the car and dropped the flower on the passenger seat on which I was seated before,"I picked it up for you."

Senior got down after me,"What is wrong with you! Get inside the car. Its drizzling already. It seems like gonna pouring soon."

He cares but why does he forcing me out for a answer. I remained silent and walked.

Senior got inside the car and drove slowly along with me.

Thank god the drizzling stopped.

In Wendy's house,

"Mom! The boughet looks so pretty. If there are any changes let me know."

"Then... where's Calix?",she asked me.

"Why are you asking me?"

"He's the one who took you right?And... Why your face looks dull? (Fold arms) does something happen again?"

"Mom! Let's talk about this later."

"What happened?",she asked.

"He's forcing me for a answer! If I didn't answer him, He either order me to do it or annoyingly asking the reason."

"You said it now."

"What?"

"You answered when I asked."

"Your my Mom!"

"Then...what is he to you?... Did your love faded over these years?"

"Is that even a question? My love for him will never decrease mom. It just gets elevated every moments I spend with him."

"Talk with him."gave a smile and went inside.

I found Senior on the porch after I looked around the house. He was standing alone in the porch holding onto the flower I gave to him. I walked to him slowly and called him nervously,"Se..niur"

He hugged suddenly when he saw me,"I'm sorry Sam! I shouldn't have imposed you. It's your wish to say it or not. I'm really sorry. I asked because if you confronted to him, you don't have to feel sad whenever you're with him."

I hugged him back and patted him while he was talking.

I broke the embrace,"You think telling about our liking to that person is the bravest thing... and not telling is some cowardly action...But this is not a movie. We should think what will happen after confronting and What will be the consequences out of it..."

I held his hands and continued,"More to that on that day, he was already in the mood for asking me out. Just think what would have happened if I tell him he was my first love and I liked him from the freshman ceremony and that stuff. It all will create problems and bring more complications. To him, blair, to me and you."

He held my hands back,"After thinking about all of this I decided to not to tell him. The love which he didn't know, can remain as it is."

I got tears welled up in my eyes,"I had so many thoughts running inside my mind on that day. One of them is..."

I made my grip tight,"Whatever happens, I shouldn't lose you. Because... because I love you Senior."(cries)

Senior came closer and kissed me.

I kissed him back.

"enough...I couldn't breathe...",I tried to push him away.

Senior still continued the kiss.

He broke the embrace and asked,"What is the meaning of this flower? I know you always give flowers with a meaning..."

I smiled and said,"It's Statice. Statice flower represent 'Remembrance'. You know that I'm basically a forgetful person right. Because of this others teases me a lot. The reason why I gave you this flower because... I want to remember everything about you... I want to remember everything about us and cherish every moment with you."

He continued his kiss again by smashing his lips on mine while talking,"mmmph....Cal..."

He continued the kissing and then whispered in my ear,"I love you too."

Senior put a ring on my finger without my knowledge.

The kiss got over.

Finally I got free.

I looked at the ring and surprised,"It's Beau-ti-ful!!"

Senior swiped my tears and smiled.

The happiness I'm feeling right now doesn't have a limit at all. Sorry for being like that before.

I gave a quick peck on his lips and smiled at him.

"I don't need a peck. I want a kiss.",he came closer to me.

I pushed him and ran into the house while he was running behind to catch me.

Nick called out to me,"Sam!", and smiled brightly.

I sighed,"You came so early?...Sir..."

"You don't have to call me sir here. Are you still mad on me for that?"

I kept silent.

"I'm a CEO. so I have to be like that.",he said.

I bolted out to him,"I just mistyped the data! didn't burn your file though."

"I'm sorry. Moreover do you know how hard it is to recheck every values after I found out that one mistake you made."

"Blah...blah...blah...",I teased him.

Dad came,"You two! When will you stop bikering at each other."

"If you didn't force me to join his company... this wouldn't have happened. Dad!"

"But you two will always fight. Don't find a reason to get changed. You're doing your internship in his company.periodt."

I sighed.

I went to my friends to share my happiness,"Do you believe this!!!"

I showed my ring to them.

Blair and Clara hugged me while Ace congrats.

Except Ace, others left to gather for wedding.

He held my hand,"Looking good. I have something too...(His other hand slipped into his pockets and took something out of it and dropped on my palm) It's yours..."

This was the necklace I bought for Wil. But I thrown it away. How did he get this. And why was he holding on to this... these years? He once said he has that girl's (the girl he loved)possession which reminds of her. Was he talking about this necklace? So... that girl he mentioned.... All these time. Was me?

He continued,"Sam! I'll think about getting a girlfriend like you said."and gave a smile.

I couldn't say anything and stood still because I found out the girl you've been mentioning all this time... was me. And I don't know what to say. If you're not gonna say anything about this, don't worry i won't ask.

"Good."

I turned and walked inside. I tried to hold my tears but I couldn't.

In the aisle,

Mom gave me the flower,"Here. Hold on to these and get in the front."

I totally forgot that I'm one of the bride's maid.

After everything got settled, I stood along with Sarah and other bride's maids near the altar.

Senior stood along with Groomsmen.

Now I can understand why was he wearing a suit.

My brother looked happy and was smiling wide up to his ears. Everyone has smile on their faces. I felt a warm environment around me. And I liked it.

Finally The bride's entry. People who was seated in their seats before was standing now. Wendy looked so beautiful in her wedding dress and walked graciously on the aisle.

After done with oaths and vows, Groom and bride kissed.

The crowd cheered. We all screamed with joy and thrown our flowers up in the air.

The photoshoot time is here!

I heard Sven asking,"Are you tired?" to Wendy.

I teased him,"Ewww."

Sarah pleaded to Sven,"I want to hold a baby right now. Can you make it happen?"

Sven did his evil laugh and said,"you can count on me."

Wendy hits Sven.

Sarah and I broke into laughter.

After many pictures with family members and friends of his,"let's do a group shot."

He called us.

Our family and Wendy's family stood in the back row and Sven and Wendy stood in the middle , Wendy's friends and Sven friends stood along with them. Sarah(holding her Corey), Falcon, Wil, Blair, Nick, Clara, David, Nick, Ace, Senior and me were kneeling down on the lawn grass. It was soft though. Finally we were settled for a picture.

The Photographer said,"Squeeze in!"

Everyone squeezed. It was funny to look at.

Though we had spaces on the ground, I pulled Senior towards me by grabbing his blazer,"Come closer!"

My friends shouted together,"SHOW OFF!"

Everyone broke into laughter.

"Say cheese! 3...2...1!"
