##Chapter 41
demetrius
Livia didn't trust me. Mr. Heitor had urgently called me for a meeting with the owner of the neighboring farm because it was for sale and he wanted to buy. It ended up not giving her time to let her know, my mistake, she was expecting us to spend the day together.
I made a mistake and I admit it.
When I got there, everything was normal until Charlotte showed up, we had been involved for a few years but it was just a one night stand, we didn't even speak after that. I didn't know what possessed her to try to kiss me at a certain moment when we were alone, but deep down I knew one thing, it was all a setup.
I was going to tell Livia everything, but probably someone got there first and planted these things in her fragile mind.
She didn't believe me and my love for her. Yes, she had reason to doubt but she had to trust me, however she preferred to believe a damn call and gossip and that disappointed me.
I left that room pleading inside me for her to ask me to stay, my heart bled, I never loved as much as I loved that girl. I didn't want to be without her, I didn't know if I could live well without her in my life.
I'd give her some time to think, then we'd talk.
Mr. Heitor already knew everything and was on my side because he knew I was with him all day, but I asked him not to say anything to his daughter because Lívia had to have trusted me.
I was walking around the farm, intending to clear my head, when on the way back home , I bumped into Marcos.
“Demetrius, I'm sorry. I was distracted.
— No problem, I was distracted too. I muttered with some contempt.
— Have you and Livia already talked?
— What do you have to do with my life and my girlfriend's? I exclaimed irritably.
— Calm down, it's because she was looking for you earlier. I'm sorry, I had to tell her a few things, the poor thing doesn't deserve to be tricked like that.
- You what?
— I told her about Charlotte, everyone was talking about it, sooner or later she would know.
"Son of a bitch, asshole!" — I didn't think twice before throwing my fist into the man's face, once, twice and three times.
"Demetrius, what are you doing?" So as to! I heard Kristen's voice.
I ignored them both and started walking towards my house, furious, with heavy breathing and the desire to hit anything that appeared in front of me.
"Demetrius, wait!" — Kristen shouted, but I didn't wait — I already know that you and that little girl broke up... — she tried to tease me.
"You would be very glad if that were true, wouldn't you?" After all, you were the one who set everything up, weren't you? I said angrily.
- What? I am not! I have nothing to do with that connection, or with what happened on the neighboring farm.
She was so cynical, that only if I were one hell of an ass would I believe she had nothing to do with all of this.
“What do you want with me Kristen? I asked angrily.
— I want you Demetrius, I want to go back. Forgive me for what I've done, I always loved you, but I only realized it too late.
"And how do you think I can forgive all of that?" Everything you did to me? I thought I loved you, but I even thank you, because that's the only way I could get rid of you and meet the great love of my life.
- My love! You are here! Livia came running, stopping when she saw me, breathing hard.
My heart sped up.
Anger flared in Kristen's gaze.
— I will always love this person here — I pointed to Lívia — It was just attraction for you and you proved to me that you were worthless when you betrayed me in the worst possible way and a person who reached out to you, causing her death! I forgot you! I feel nothing for you! I do not want you! Leave me alone at once. The woman of my life is called Lívia and nobody will change that. — I observed when Kristen turned red with anger, if she had a gun she would kill me right then and there, I'm sure.
- You're an idiot! How can you love such an immature girl who doesn't trust you? That at the first opportunity you doubt your man, who believes in any frame but doesn't believe in the person he claims to love. You are an imbecile! - Kristen said screaming, almost pulling her own hair.
"You wretch!" — Lívia who shouted, going for Kristen, but because he was closer, Marcos, who watched everything in silence, wrapped his arms around her waist and held her — You crazy bitch! — he struggled in Marcos's arms — Let go of me, you idiot! You helped put these idiots in my head!
“You contributed to this, you son of a bitch. — I exclaimed, staring at him, hatred filling my veins — Let go of my woman! I grabbed Lívia out of his arms and punched Marcos in the jaw.
He fell to the floor with his hand on his chin, cursing various names.
— I know I was wrong to distrust Demetrius at least a little bit, but the moment he left my bedroom door, it dawned on me that he would never do that to me and at the same moment I came after him. I looked back and Livia was on top of Kristen on the floor, hitting her.
I could let Kristen get beat up, I held back a proud smile from my little beast, she was small but angry. However, Kristen could turn the tables and hurt her, after all, the difference in body mass between the two was considerable. I took Lívia off her and moved away a little.
"I'm going to kill you, you damn brat!" Kristen got up.
"If I don't kill you first, you bitch!" — Lívia struggled in my arms — Let go of me, Demetrius, I want to hit her! I'm already tired of her!
— I set everything up and your girlfriend believed it, Demetrius. — he mocked — She didn't trust you and left you! At first she already gave up on you, she doesn't deserve you.
"I didn't let him , you idiot!" We haven't even finished. My only mistake was considering doubting Demetrius, that's all. We'll stay together whether you like it or not. Livia calmed down in my arms, so I put her on the ground.
- But...
- But nothing! I think you better gather your little things and go. You're fired, it took me too long to do this. And it's no use opening your mouth to say that my father hired you, I'm his daughter and he'll never want you here after knowing everything you've been up to. I didn't take action earlier out of pity, pity for that child you're going to bring into the world.
- That will not remain like this! Kristen threatened.
- Go away! — Lívia shouted — And you Marcos, what a disappointment. I'll tell my dad and he'll take the necessary steps since he's known you longer and knows how important you are to the farm.
