27• My Jealous Man

He halted the bike in front of her college.

"Could I watch your play?" He asked her as she took her hands out of his jacket and hopped down off his bike. Her eyes twinkled with delight after knowing that he wanted to see her performance.

"Are you serious?" She inquired in a startling tone.

"Yup. That's why I asked."

She beamed at him. "Of course, I'd be delighted."

"Alright, then." He hung his helmet on the handlebars and climbed down from the bike.

Before entering the college, she showed her identity card to the guard. Manik followed her into the makeup room.

When the girls in the makeup area noticed the attractive man, their eyes widened in astonishment. As they ogled at him, a wave of envy rushed over her.

'He is now my man, and only I have the right to see him in this way. I shouldn't have brought him to the makeup room.' She regretted her decision.

"Nandini, be quick, your play is in ten minutes." The manager instructed her, and she nodded at her.

She grasped Manik's hand and led him to the auditorium. "You sit here and wait for my performance."

"All the best." He gave her a thumbs-up, and she just smiled at him broadly before rushing back to the makeup room.

She quickly put on her costume and had a makeup professional help her with her hair.

Manik's face lit up and eyes sparkled when Nandini entered the stage.

'Seriously I don't understand why did I never notice her beauty and innocence before. She looks so gorgeous in this white gown.'

He had a smile on his face as he watched her perform, but when her co-actor took her hand in his, his smile turned into a grimace. He was driven by rage and shoot daggers at him. He didn't like how he was holding his kiddo's soft hand because he was the only one who had the right to do so.

'How dare he hold my baby doll's hands! I'll smash his hand to pieces.' He felt a sudden urge to rush to the stage and drag her out of the auditorium, but he managed to restrain himself with difficulty, clutching his hands.

He watched the rest of the play with a frown on his face. Only he knew how he controlled himself from beating the hell out of him.

Before leaving the stage and going to the changing room, Nandini gave Manik a warm smile.

She dashed out of the changing room after changing her clothes in a hurry.

As she picked up her phone, she received a message from him.

My hottie Biker: I'm waiting for you outside of the college.

My Kiddo: Okay! I'm just coming.

She reached outside and smiled at him when she saw him, standing leaning against the bike. Her brows pinched in confusion as he gave her a sullen look. She had no idea how envious he was.

"What happened?" She asked him as she approached him.

"Let's just go to my apartment." He said this while wearing the helmet and sitting on the bike, his gaze fixed on her hand.

"Okay." She sat behind him and slipped her hands into his jacket pockets while he started the bike.

As she embraced him, instantly his anger disappeared like magic and a smile flashed on his face. Only she had the power to bring a smile to his face under any circumstances.

They reached his apartment, and he unlocked the door and stepped inside, gripping her hand firmly. She could sense that something was wrong.

He led her to the hall and settled down on the sofa with her before bringing her hand close to his mouth and placing so many soft kisses there with possession. She was utterly puzzled by his behaviour.

"It's only my right to touch, hold and kiss them." Jealousy laced in his voice.

"I have given that right to you only, Manik." She answered him, having no clue why he was jealous.

"Then why did you let that bastard hold your hand during the play?" He asked her, yanking her to himself by grabbing her arms.

Now everything became clear to her, and she inquired, "so you're jealous?"

"Yes, I'm. I didn't like it at all when he held my baby doll's hand." He again clasped her hands and caressed the knuckles. She just smiled, knowing the fact he was jealous.

"Why?"

"Because now you're only mine, Kiddo." He stated in a possessive tone, gazing at her intensely. His words brought some happiness to her heart.

"I'm only yours, Manik." She whispered, stroking his stubble and gazing at him with affection. He closed his eyes to feel her fingers run through his dark stubble. He felt incredible and relaxed.

As he opened his eyes, she asked, "how are you feeling now."

"I'm feeling so damn good, thank you." He clasped her hand and kissed it, making her smile with genuine happiness.

"You must be hungry, right?" As he asked her, she nodded. "Then let's go somewhere to have something."

"Cool!" She gave him a thumbs up.

They were having lunch at the restaurant, he was sitting holding her hand and stroking it all the time, making her feel good. The way his fingers caressed her hands managed to bring her peace and happiness, and a smile never left her face.

"Listen, never allow anyone to touch your hand." He abruptly uttered in a solemn tone.

"Okay." She smiled at him, seeing his possessiveness. She was enjoying it.

"Your hands are made for me to hold them this way! I'm warning you again, Kiddo, don't let anyone touch your hands." He uttered, and she just nodded at him, seeing only possessiveness for her in his eyes. She was rendered speechless by his words.

"I want words, baby!"

"Manik, don't worry, I'm just your kiddo." She said softly, placing her other hand on his, which he was holding. They both looked deeply into each other's eyes.

When he was busy kissing and touching her hand, she thought, 'oh, my man looks hotter when he gets possessive.'

She picked up her phone from the table and clicked the photo of their entwined hands and a few photos of him as well.

"You have fond of clicking photos, right?" He asked her.

"I love to capture all the moments on my phone." She merrily told him, looking at him with her twinkling eyes, and he admired her with a beatific smile on his face.

"So click one more."

She gladly agreed, "sure."

He took her hand near to his mouth and placed a soft kiss on her knuckles. She beamed and clicked the photo of him while he was softly kissing her hand.

"This is so beautiful." She squealed.

"Show me." He extended his free hand to her while still stroking her hand with his other hand.

"Wow!" This word escaped his mouth as he saw all the photos.

"Don't forget to send me all the photos." He handed back the phone to her.

"I'm doing it right now." After sending him the photo, she said, "done."

He cleaned her face with tissue paper as they stood up to leave after lunch. She just gazed at him with a contented smile on her face. His every little gesture was driving her insane and making her fall even more in love with him. She considered herself extremely fortunate to have him.
