❤️ Strange New Feelings ❤️
"What's going on here?" Cando repeated when he got closer to them, he glanced at the dead pieces of the guard on the floor and returned his gaze to the beautiful lady in front him. He couldn't deny how pretty she was but beneath her beautiful face was a wicked soul. He could sense her evil aura coming out from her. And that made him instantly hate her. Hate her to the core. She is evil and evil people deserve to die.
"We don't know who she is, she demanded an audience with our Emperor and when we laughed at what she said, she ended up killing Peter, my Lord," one of the guards reply since the girl was still staring at Cando.
"And what did she say?" Cando demanded, taking his eyes off her to look at the guard that spoke.
"She said she was here to meet our Emperor and offer him help, and he is in need of her help. So we started laughing because we all know our almighty Emperor doesn't need help not to talk from a woman. And then she did this to Peter's body." the same guard explained.
The girl may be right, after all her evil aura irks all over her so he wouldn't be surprised.
"Is that what happened?" Cando asked coldly when he returned his gaze at her.
Rumi had to clear her voice when those stunning dark eyes like midnight looked in her direction. She was a bit angry when he was looking at her but now having his attention to herself, seems golden. She would do anything to keep his stare on her. She remembered he had asked her a question and from his raising of one of his eyebrows shows he was losing his cool.
"Yes, he is right and I won't fail to do that again if they keep this their attitude towards me," Rumi said with the sweetest voice she could muster, in fact, her best voice and a charming smile. "None of them, including you, are no match for me." she added not knowing when she included the handsome man in her sentence. And now the man will see her as a proud arrogant lady who is bragging. "I am so sor-"
"Why are you here to see my master?" Cando interrupted rudely. She can keep her apologies to herself. Just because he seems weak to Dean and allows the Emperor to as he pleases towards him does not mean he is not strong, this girl shouldn't play with fire to avoid getting burned. The urge to strangle the girl to death was overwhelming him but he brushed that aside.
"Like I told these fools standing here, I am here to see your Emperor. I want to help him. I was sent here by Sarah, just mention the name Sarah to him and he wi-"
"Enough of your long chit chat, I didn't ask you to tell me your story," Cando said, forcing himself not to roll his eyes at her. "Clean up the mess, one of you has to take her to the throne room where she will wait for my master to come. Two of you should go and inform Emperor Dean about his visitor, make sure you mention Sarah if not..." he barked his orders and left without another glance at Rumi.
Rumi was at loss of words and didn't know what to say to the man she didn't know his name.
"My lady, come with me please." the same guard who had answered Cando questions, spoke, and started leading Rumi towards the throne room. While two more guards followed them until they got to the veranda and went their separate ways; the two guards went to Dean's room.
Once they reached his door, both of them knocked once on his door and waited. The six guards guarding his door all moved out of their ways.
"Who is that?" Dean's angry voice was heard behind the closed doors.
"Good morning my Emperor, someone's looking for you, she said she was sent by Sarah." The two guards replied in unison and waited fearfully.
Dean's door swings open and he steps out of his room. Staring at the two guards. "What do you say?" he demanded.
"She said Sarah sent her here, Emperor." They repeated almost immediately going down to their knees.
"Where is she?"
"In the throne room, Emperor."
"Tell her to wait for me," he said and didn't wait for them to speak before returning to his room and slamming the door behind him hard.
The two guards hurried to inform Rumi.
Dean took his time taking his bath. He had been so engrossed in thinking of Storm that he forgot the time. Putting on his clothes- a pair of black trousers and black shirt- combed his red hair and packed it into a low ponytail then left his room.
Rumi has been told by those guards that Dean was coming and it's almost an hour and her patience is wearing off, but then again, she couldn't help but think about Cando.
"I was told you're here to see me?" Dean said, startling the girl with his voice. The girl has been so engrossed with her thoughts that she didn't hear him come in. How can such a girl be of help to him? Why did Sarah send her without informing him first? "What is it, child?"
Dean thought as Rumi turned around to face him, her cold gaze didn't surprise him, instead, her face reminded him of someone in the past. This is really unbelievable, first was Kira who has her father's blue hair and now this girl standing in front of him who looks like the dead King of the dwarf and elves kingdom. Although she bore no resemblance to the dead King or her mother, but one look and sniff of her you will know she has the royal blood of her dead father running through her veins, magic. Does that mean Adaoh gave birth to more than one?
Pretend is what he is good at. He pretended not know that Adaoh gas given birth before she was captured. He needed her services so he couldn't kill her. Then fate place Kira in his palm and because of his love for her, he Ignore the blood running through her veins. Pretend is what he was going to do now once again.
"First of all I am not a child," Rumi said, trying to contain her anger. Who is this stupid red devil? Just because he is an Emperor doesn't give him the right to call her 'child'. No, he has no right. "I have a name and it's Rumi. You shall address me as Rumi." she added.
'I will address you the way I want' Dean wanted to say it out but stopped himself at the right time, she has the powers of elves and the strength of the dwarfs unlike his beautiful Kira who has only the strength of the dwarfs. Rumi will be a powerful ally to him.
He glared at her as she returned it with her own glare.
"You haven't answered my question yet Rumi, why are you here to see me?" Dean demanded.
"Isn't it obvious, I am here to help you." Rumi replied to him.
"Help me with what exactly?" he demanded.
"With whatever problem you are facing. I was told you needed my help and I am here to do that unless you don't need my help and I will take my leave."
"I do need help. I am going to start a war," Dean said, crossing his arms across his chest. "Do you know what a war means?" he asked Rumi.
"A Kingdom fighting another kingdom either for it's land, money, or whatever. People will die."
His glare was gone but his eyes were still cold nevertheless.
"Good, at least you have an insight of what war is. The first war that happened you were not even born but you shall witness this second war coming." Dean said.
"If I may ask, why do you want to initiate a war? What are your reasons? For a war to start there has to be a solid reason."
"Once again you're right, and it's because of Kira."
"Kira? You mean Juno? What has she got to do with the war? Do you want to kill her?"
"The opposite, Storm refused to give me back my bride, he is the reason why I am going to war. Kira is mine and not his, I just have to make that clear to him when I kill him."
Rumi could have said something by now at the mention of Storm but she didn't, instead she said. "Storm is strong."
"He looks so much like a man I once fought with years ago in the first war, a man who was killed, but I don't really know if it's Edgardo or not and that's why I am hesitating," Dean said and didn't want to tell Rumi the whole truth. Edgardo was a strong powerful Prince who trusted him and Sarah but in the end, they betrayed him. His dear is that Edgardo is now back to kill him, using the name 'Storm' as a disguise to get get back to him and Sarah and his first step was to claim Kira, knowing in doing so will anger him. He just hope Storm hasn't touched what he has preserving for years from Kira. He and he only should be the only man who gets to disv.irgined Kira, no one else.
"I see," Rumi's voice brought him out of his deep thoughts. "I will help you to see if he is truly Edgardo but you have to tell me everything I should know about Edgardo." Rumi told him. She will use this to buy more time in discovering the plans of the unknown mysterious man who had sent her here. If Emperor Dean is in love with Juno and the unknown man is also in love with Juno, who will then have the girl? As far as she knows, Storm has loved Juno ever since they were young and even now even if he pretends to hate her guts.
If the unknown man knows Dean is in love with Juno, then he has a plan up his sleeves. Does he want Dean to wage a war against Ashland? She has to play along to know the mysterious man's plan.
"He has powers,"
"I have too, in case you are just noticing too," Rumi said and made a fire ball appear on her left hand then made it dissolve.
"I am not talking about ordinary powers Rumi, look at me do you think I can't do what you just did?" Dean said with a smirk on his lips as both hands started burning with fire then it faded. "I control the four elements except one and also have some magic," he explained. "Edgardo was the one who made me this powerful, the one who made me realize my worth."
"How can Edgardo be this powerful?"
"He has the blessings of the gods which made him proud, Rumi, you won't understand. It's difficult for me to explain."
"Is alright, the ones you said I understand but I will tell you, Storm doesn't have any magic. He is just an ordinary person."
"I doubt that, have you looked at his eyes? Edgardo also has almost the same eye color, both eyeballs are fully red."
"But Storm's eyeballs aren't red, one is white and the other is red." Rumi said.
"I know, I saw his eyeballs when I saw him but you should know Edgardo is a very cunning person." Dean said. His legs were starting to hurt him for standing so long but Rumi didn't show any discomfort. "Do you want to sit down?" he asked, going to sit on his throne.
"Not really, I'm comfortable the way I am." Rumi responded. "You have nothing to worry about, I will keep my eyes on Storm and once I notice something out of the ordinary, I will inform you." She assured him.
"Since you're good at magic, then I will have no issue with you." Dean said. He won't let her know about Adaoh yet. Something crossed his mind. "How did you cross over?"
No one needed to tell Rumi what he meant by that. "Sarah showed me the secret passage but I made sure the guards didn't see me." she said and watched as he nodded his head. His once cold angry eyes were now soft.
"Cando!" Dean suddenly yelled out and Rumi wondered who it was he was calling.
The door to the throne room opened and Cando came in.
Once again, Rumi was rendered speechless at the sight of him.
What are these strange feelings?
Rumi wondered as Cando approached them.
