❤️ I'm Pregnant (Part 1) ❤️
Kira smiled widely at that. "You've been possessive of me lately."
"Why shouldn't I be? When it comes to property I guide it jealousy." Storm told her and kissed her and proceeded to show her how he meant those words.

Empress Rose Room:
Entering her room they saw her seated on her Queen chair- she had made it in only her room- eating grapes from a bowl which a servant carried while on her knees before her. Another one was fanning her and another one was rubbing her feet.
"Look at my two favorite people, especially the soon to be Emperor of our kingdom." Empress Rose said with her chin up. "What brings the both of you here? Has he finally left the palace?" she asked.
"No mother and you know he is not leaving anyway that's not the reason why I am here." Morgan told her. Fred went to sit down on the bed and rested his back on the bed, closing his eyes.
"What then is the reason son?" Empress Rose demanded.
"He has something to say to you mother," Fred answered as he opened his eyes to look at them.
"He has something to tell me?" Empress Rose said, staring back at her son and narrowing her eyes at Morgan. "What is it then?"
"I need some privacy with you, can you ask the servants to leave us?" Morgan said avoiding his mother's eyes, he was staring at everywhere but her.
"Why? What news do you want to tell me that will want me to chase them out?" Empress Rose asked with raised brows.
"It's about Gwen." Morgan said simply looking down.
"Get out," Empress Rose ordered. "Leave my presence." she added huffing and puffing.
Once the servants were out and they were alone, Empress Rose stood up to her feet.
"Now tell me or do you want your brother to leave as well?" she said with her jaw clenched tightly.
"No, Fred can stay, besides he knows already."
"Then hurry up and tell me. I am losing my patience."
"It's about Gwen."
Empress Rose didn't allow him to finish, "Yeah you've told me that, can you say something else. Why do you want to discuss that low life with me?" she asks, crossing her arms across her bre.asts.
"Mother, please stop calling Gwen a low life, she is not."
"Well she is to me, is that what you want to discuss with me because if it is sorry to burst your bubbles my dear son, I will not stop calling her that."
"That low life will be your daughter in law. Gwen has finally accepted to marry me and as my mother I am here to inform you. I will be fixing a date for our wedding ceremony soon."
"Impossible!" Empress Rose snapped. "You can not marry that low life Morgan, I forbid you from saying such words," she added furiously.
"We've heard these conversations before mother, there is nothing you can do. This is pure love and I love her with all my heart. Why can't you understand me, why can't you accept my decision that I made for myself for once!?" Morgan yelled out in anger as he glared at her. "All these years I have been doing as you said but now that it's my turn to do just this one thing, what I want for myself, you are telling me otherwise?" he said, still angered
"Yelling at me won't change my mind Morgan. You are my son and as your mother I have never made any mistake. You must marry a princess and not a low life like Gwen. You are too young to understand what I am doing for you. It's for your own good Morgan, you won't marry Gwen and that's final." Empress Rose said, her unblinking focused eyes on her son.
"You wouldn't mother, your words is not final. I have a say over my life."
"And as I am still the Empress of this kingdom- until you are being crowned as the Emperor- you will do as I command. My word I LAW." She emphasized more on the last word.
Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves down. "Mother, I really love her. I can't imagine my life without her. You should understand what I am saying. The way you loved my father is the same way I love Gwen. Please accept my relationship with her and I promise you I won't ever argue with you on anything."
"Morgan," Empress Rose said as she closed the distance between them and grabbed his jaw with both hands, staring straight into his eyes. "I am doing what is best for you. You can't marry Gwen." she added with no room for argument.
"..."
She shut him by placing a finger on his lips. "I told you this before and I will still repeat it again. You can make Gwen one of your concubines but she can never be your Empress."
"Then I have no other option than to tell Storm, maybe he can talk to you and change your mind, after all, Gwen is someone he cherished." Morgan threatened.
One of Empress Rose's hands went over her mouth as she stepped back from him.
"So you are going to shake hands with the devil because of a mere girl? You are going to stab me in the back?" She stared with wide eyes and raised eyebrows.
"I will not only shake hands with this particular devil but hug him also. And Gwen is not a mere girl, please, she is the daughter of Eden." Morgan calmly said. Seeing his mother paralyzed with fear at Storm's name gladdened him a bit.
"You wouldn't dare," Empress Rose said, pointing a finger at him.
"I will if you don't allow me to follow my heart mother, enough of you telling me what to do, I am now old enough to know what I want and I want to live with Gwen."
"Fred won't you say something? Talk some sense into your brother." She said turning around to look at her other son on the bed which hasn't contributed anything to their conversation.
"Mother, just let him be. It's his choice. You won't live with them so why are you making it hard for him, just let them be," Fred said from where he was.
"On which side are you on, Fred? You should be speaking sense into your brother and not encouraging him," Empress Rose said with narrowed eyes.
"Mother, it's his choice. He is now old enough to choose who he wants to spend his life with." Fred told her as he sat upright on the bed. "You should know that we all have our own choices to make."
"He is making a huge mistake, why can't any of you see it?"
"Then let him make his own mistake," Fred said, then stroked an imaginary beard. "Please I hope you are not think of choosing a bride for me when it gets to my own time?" he asked with raised brows.
"No, you're free to marry whoever it is you want to marry Fred, you are the second son of this family but Morgan is the first son, the next Emperor of Ashland Kingdom." Empress Rose explained.
"Thank goodness because I have no time to explain to you the way my brother is doing right now."
"Mother," Morgan said softly, bringing Empress Rose's attention back to him. "Nothing will change my mind so better start getting used to seeing Gwen as your daughter in-law." he added a second later. "Fred let's leave."
Without another word, Fred left with his brother.
Empress Rose stared at the backs of her two sons as they left her room.
"Ungrateful human," Empress Rose said to herself once she was alone. She couldn't believe Morgan didn't agree to what she said and Fred had supported him. "All these happened because of Storm, if he wasn't back, Morgan wouldn't have met Gwen and we wouldn't have even had this conversation."
__
"Don't worry about mother, she will change her mind once she sees how much you love Gwen and how the girl loves you too." Free encouraged his brother as they walked down the hallways.
"I am not bothered about, mother, I am just worried about Gwen."
"Why are you worried about her?" Fred asked, clearly confused.
"I don't know, can't really place my hands on what's wrong but believe me she has changed. She is not herself around me anymore." Morgan revealed.
"What do you mean? She agreed to marry you, right?" Fred asked, then stopped walking prompting his brother to stop too. Fred smacked his palm against his forehead. "Don't tell me you made that story up of Gwen accepting to marry."
"I did not make up any story, believe me, is just that I thought she would be over the moon when I proposed but she did the opposite. I can see in her face that she isn't happy with me I think, her mind is elsewhere."
"So what are you going to do?" Fred asked.
"Fight back for her love, affection and bring back her attention to me." Morgan said. "I need her more than ever." he added a second later.
"Let's continue our conversation over a drink. It's been a long time since I tasted wine." Fred suggested.
"Fine."
__
No one needed to tell Gwen has to excuse herself when she hears moans coming from the bathroom. She was feeling hungry again and made her way to the kitchen. She saw Morgan and Fred hide herself before they would see her, she had no time to chat with any of the brothers. She waited until they were out of sight and breathed a sigh of relief.
"I can see you are hiding from them." Emera's voice came from behind her, startling her.
Gwen yelped and nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard the voice from behind her. When she realized who owns the voice she released her breathing she didn't even know she was holding. "You scared me." she said.
"I am sorry about that. I was just curious when I saw you here," Emera said, "Why are you hiding from Morgan?"
"I wasn't hiding from him," Gwen said, her cheeks crimson red. "I don't want to have a conversation with him right now." she added a minute later when she saw the raised eyebrows of Emera.
"Why?"
"I am super hungry and I need some food." Gwen replied.
"What about Juno and Storm?"
"They are busy right now, that's why I left the room, plus my hunger."
"Alright, go and stay in my room, I will bring you food."
"You don't have to do that, I can do that myself."
"Nons.ense," Emera said playfully. "I will do that and don't argue with me besides, you are hiding from Morgan, it's the least I can do." he added with a smile.
"If you insist," Gwen said, returning his smile with her own. She started heading towards Emera room when she stopped and turned around yelling out a little bit. "Please uncle, they should bring plenty of food, I am really, really hungry."
Emera nodded his head and continued walking to the kitchen section in the Palace.
___
Emera House:
Once Rumi was done eating, she decided it's time to visit the palace.
"I'm leaving for the palace Sarah, take care of the house." Rumi said over her shoulder as walked past a sulking Sarah in the veranda. "I will be back before you know it." she added and left.
Walking towards the palace, she took her sweet time and arrived an hour and thirty minutes later. She has been thinking about her second encounter with the unknown man.
Why has he put that controlling spell on Dean? Did the Emperor know? Is Dean working for him? Why did the unknown man send her to Kudarma in the first place? Why does he want her to become Dean's ally?
Rumi thought. If not that she knows herself she would have thought the unknown man had also put the controlling spell on her but that is the opposite. So why did she accept to work for him?
'Power'
A tiny voice said at the back of her head and she agreed with it.
True. Power. The unknown man wield a lot of power which she plans to steal. As long as she is still breathing no one should be as powerful as her, she wants to be the only powerful sorceress in the entire Kingdoms. It will be tough work to steal his power unlike her mother, but she has to try. Not now, when she has gained enough trust from the unknown man. One thing she has learned from her mother is to never trust those with stronger magic than hers, they will stab you in the back.
But who is he? Why is he hiding his face?
She thought. She didn't feel any familiar aura around him so she couldn't identify him. To her, he remains a mystery she has to solve to know the face behind the mask he is wearing.
Arriving at the palace, she smiled at the guards at the gate as they bowed their heads to greet her.
Heading straight to the room Emera was staying in, she knocked once on the door and entered the room, luckily for her, the door wasn't bolted from the inside.
She was surprised to see the lady that came with Storm, Gwen, inside the room with Emera- who was standing and watching Gwen who was seated and eating on the bed- She was stuffing her mouth with food and didn't seem embarrassed of seeing her eating that way. Though Rumi couldn't deny the odd fragrance coming out from Gwen, something like mild fragrance, not overpowering and something else she couldn't point out yet. She will come back to her, for now, she is here to see Emera.
"Father," Rumi said beaming with a smile. "How are you doing?" she added, going to meet him and hugging him. "Glad to see you are back to your feet."
"Me too," Emera said, returning her hug and holding her very close. "After that horrible incident with Storm and Juno, you've stopped coming here." he added, releasing his hold on her to look at her properly. "You are looking more beautiful."
"Thank you father and to the reason why I haven't come since is because I was just doing some things here and there that I fail to realize that days were passing and Id not for Juno, I wouldn't have remembered. I am sorry." she said with a serious expression on her face, her smile gone.
"It's okay," Emera said, sitting down in the only space on the bed. "What have you been up to?" he asked, ignoring the sounds coming from Gwen who was eating loudly beside him.
"Nothing much, just trying to live." Rumi answered and shrugged her shoulders. "It's not easy, you know." she added.
"I know, now that I am strong, I will be coming back soon. So you don't have to worry, everything will be back to normal." Emera assured her.
'Not for long because you won't be alive to witness that'
Rumi thought and smiled at Emera who smiled back at her. Her gaze shifted to Gwen and stared at her for a while.
Feeling the gaze on her made Gwen a little bit uncomfortable, it wasn't her fault she was hungry.
"Why are you staring at me? Haven't you seen a hungry person before?" Gwen said as she swallowed the food in her mouth.
Rolling her eyes at her, Rumi moved closer to Gwen and placed hee left palm on her forehead and closed her eyes and gasped out a little bit but didn't open her eyes. She heard the door opening behind her and the sharp intake of whoever it was and then she found herself being pushed away from Gwen, hard, but she regained her step before she fell down.
"Don't you dare lay your witchy hands on my twin sister again." Kira fumed in anger. Her teeth gritted so hard that one could hear the sound they were making.
"Twin sister?" Rumi said, caught off guard by the words. "Twin sister?" she repeated again.
"Yes my twin sister, are you surprised?" Kira asked, her lips curved tightly upwards and when Rumi didn't say anything she continued. "Are you surprised?" She repeated. "You didn't kill her like you did with the other one, that is why you're surprised."
'No idi.ot, I am surprised that my mother didn't make any mention of her.'
Rumi thought. "I wasn't doing her anything, I was just checking on her because i-"
Interrupting her rudely. "You want to kill her like you did with Grace and me, right? Getting closer to her then earns her trust then kills her. That is what you are always good at." she said, trying to close the distance between her and Rumi but Storm held her in place in his arms, holding her tightly as she tried to free herself from his hold.
"What did you say?" Emera demanded. "Which Grace are you talking about?"
"Your wife, my mother, Rumi, my precious step sister killed her and then killed me but luckily for me I was saved by Dean and now you are here to finish up what you've started, you want to kill my twin sister. I won't allow that to happen, not in my watch."
"You killed my wife?" Emera asked as he shook with sobs. "Please tell me it's a lie. Please tell me that Juno is lying."
"She is telling you the truth." Rumi said with a slightly closed-lipped smile. At that moment Kira ceased struggling in Storm's arms. "You should be happy that I haven't killed you yet."
"Why?" Emera gasped out.
"Isn't it obvious to you? I hate you father. I hate everything that smells like you." Rumi said. There was no need in hiding the truth. "I could have succeeded in destroying your life, in killing you, but you got lucky when Storm and your daughter returned." she explained.
"Why Grace? What has she done to deserve her ill-fate?" Emera said, trying hard to control his tears. "I gave you everything Rumi, I picked you up and cleaned you and all you could do is to repay my kindness for evil? Why?"
"Like I said before, isn't it obvious. I killed your wife when she found out my secret. I killed her to clear my path so that I can have another chance to kill your daughter, but just like you, somehow she survived."
___
Morgan and Fred were seen sitting at a comfortable place on one side of the palace and drinking wine.
"You shouldn't fear at all, Morgan, she has agreed to marry you." Fred reminded him or was his brother lying?
"You don't understand Fred, she is hiding something from me, from us."
"And what makes you think so?"

Unknown Place:
The unknown man returned to his secret hideout and removed everything that concealed his identity. He glanced once at Phoenix and saw her looking at him.
"I haven't killed him yet, if that's why you are looking at me Phoenix but soon enough I will. I don't make empty promises." he told Phoenix. "The daughter of your friend, Adaoh, spoiled a bit of my plan but it's never too late." he added.
"Uncle," Reca's little daughter was seen running towards him as he kneel down to pick her up and twirl her around in the air, making her giggling. He soon put her back to the ground. "I have eaten as you instructed so when will I be going home? I want to see my mother."
The unknown man knows that none of his assassins are permitted to enter here without his permission- so the assassin that had brought the little girl will be outside the hideout waiting for him- and the only ones allowed to see his face are Phoenix and Reca daughter.
"Soon dear," he said, patting her head tenderly. "There are a few things you need to do for me and soon you will be going back home, okay?"
"Okay Uncle."
The unknown man smiled slightly and then went on to put on his mask and covered his body once again.
"Shall we, my dear." Stretching out one of his hands as the little girl grabs hold of it.
They both walked out.
