❤️ Forgiveness is Earned (1) ❤️
"No, you can't do this to me," Sarah said. "I did everything for you, I didn't kill you. I took good care of you Rumi, I even gave you a name. Would you be standing here if I had killed you?"
"That was your mistake. You should have killed me back then when I was still a child. You should have killed me before you taught me everything, you should have killed me Sarah."
"But I didn't, right? Can't you forgive me? Just give me a last chance and I swear it won't repeat itself again." Sarah said.
"I gave you a chance Sarah, I asked you, I pleaded with you to tell me if what Emera had said was true but what did you say? You insisted that he was lying and you were telling the truth." Rumi told her with gritted teeth.
"That was my only mistake, Rumi. Please forgive me. Find a place in your beautiful heart to forgive me."
"If I forgive you, will Grace that I killed with my own hands forgive me too? Because of you, I killed an innocent, because of you, I fought with my own sister and killed her, because of your lies I hated Emera. Everything happened because of YOU Sarah, so tell me how and where do I start forgiven you from?" Rumi said with hands on her hips. "I did everything for your sake, have you ever called me aside to whisper 'Rumi, don't let your hatred eat you deep, don't let it take you astray.' but no, you wanted revenge and there I was."
"I am sorry Rumiana. I really didn't know what came over me. I swear I didn't want to do any of this, I was pushed by my hatred for Emera and Adaoh"
"Do you know the most painful part of it all, you made me hate a man who did nothing wrong to me. A man who really took me as his own daughter, as if it was Grace who truly gave birth to me. A sister who has been there for me. You made me want everything that Juno ever wanted and the foolish me did exactly that. I am just realizing that I lived all my life in your shadow Sarah and not mine. Thank you for ruining my life."
"I am really sorry Rumi, I am so sorry."
"Sorry won't correct the wrongs I did. Sorry won't bring back Grace. Juno hates me now, can your stu.pid sorry undo that for me?" Rumi asked with narrowed eyes. "Do you know the worst part of your stupid revenge? The man you are doing all these for is dead, the man that didn't choose you is dead yet you carry on your revenge on his children."
"I am sorry." Sarah repeated. She hopes that somewhere in Rumi's heart she finds a place to forgive her. "I am truly sorry." she said again.
"The only reason why you are asking for my forgiveness is because you've been caught red-handed, if you weren't caught, would you be begging me to forgive you? Will you Sarah? Answer me!" Rumi yelled out the last two words in anger.
Whimpering loudly that the noise was heard, Sarah slowly shook her head. Lying to Rumi now is like adding salt into wounds.
"But just like you told Emera, you made a mistake by not killing me, I won't make a mistake like you did."
"So you will kill me?" Sarah asked as she buried her face in her hands. Is this how she will end? She, an Amazon Warrior priestess of Myrina, will just die like a chicken? Her powers gone, her fighting skills were all taken away from her by this little brat standing in front of her.
"No, but I have something else in mind for you, for now, enjoy your new home once again Sarah," Rumi said and before Sarah would protest, she was gone like a wind.
"No!!!" Sarah screamed loudly, falling down to the ground as realize she was all alone. "Not here, anywhere but here, please." she said to the empty room, but it was too late, as she began to cry quietly.
___
Rumi was back in the guest room and began scattering the room. She sat down on the floor burying her face in her hands.
What has she done? Juno and Gwen are her sisters and she has hurt Juno the most, she had hated her for living not knowing that the one who she badly wanted to kill is actually her own blood sister. Why did this happen to her, why? Why didn't she see the writings of the wall? She is too smart to be played around by Sarah like the woman wants. She had used her to carry out her plans, she knew they would recognize her if they saw her and sent her instead. What will she do now?
Rumi thought to herself. Lying down on the cold floor, with a hand at the back of her head, she closed her eyes.
No, she won't visit Emera today, instead she will tomorrow. Today, a lot of things were said, things she had said to him.
"I am sorry Emera for everything." she whispered to the empty room.
'I hope when I beg them tomorrow, I will be forgiven.'
She thought and then slept off.

Kudarma Kingdom: Dean's Palace:
Adaoh was pacing around then stopped when the door leading to her opened and she saw Kando and Cando coming inside the room.
"I felt his rage, Kando, I thought he would have killed you. You don't know how worried I was." Adaoh said in concern.
"Oh, I didn't really know you cared about me so much Adaoh," Kando said with a lopsided smile.
Rolling her eyes at him, "The only reason I am caring right now is because you took my daughter away from here and you are her love interest so shouldn't I be worried?" she said with crinkle eyes and nose.
Kando snorted. "The first I agree but the latter, I disagree."
"I see no injuries on you," Adaoh said, changing the topic. "Does that mean I am now guessing wrong?" she queries.
"You are not far from the truth, he was indeed beaten by Dean." Cando said entering the conversation.
"Hey, I am right here." Kando said, tugging Cando's shoulder playfully.
"What? But I see no injuries on him."
"That's because he healed himself before we came down to see you." Cando replied.
"What did you do to Dean?" Adaoh demanded.
"Nothing except taking Gwen back to Ashland Kingdom. How he got to know about that surprised me." Kando answered.
"I don't get you." Adaoh said in confusion.
"Meaning, he lied that Gwen had escaped when our master asked him, he wasn't violent when he was told the lie, he only became violent after he went to his room, luckily for us, his newest ally was with us and she stopped everything." Cando explained, suddenly remembering Rumi.
"Who is she?"
"I just said, our master new ally, weren't you paying me any attention?"
"She managed to calm down Dean from killing you?" Adaoh asked Kando.
"Yes and somehow she got to know he was under a controlling spell whoever it is has probably been directing him what to do. I was surprised she could do that. The first time I saw that X symbol, I knew it has got something to do with his new behavior, but that symbol was gone immediately." Kando explains to the best of his knowledge.
"So someone is controlling Dean, hiding behind Dean's back to carry out his work?" Adaoh asked and both brothers nodded their heads. "And then this girl came today and stopped him from hurting you further and also removed the spell?"
"That's what happened, strangely enough, she was the only one who could see the symbol."
"I saw it once, probably whoever it is was careless and didn't know I will see the X symbol," Kando said with a shrug. "All in all, I am okay."
"So where is she? Dean's new ally?" Adaoh demanded.
"Ask Cando, she is Cando's woman." Kando pointed at his brother.
"She left but promised to be here tomorrow," Cando answered and then faced his brother. "I have told you not to call her my woman."
"Will you bring her here once she comes?" Adaoh asked.
"Of course," Kando said. "Is something wrong?" he asked with a frown.
"Nothing, I just want to see the girl that was able to stop Dean, that's all."
"When she comes tomorrow, you will definitely get to meet her." Kando assured her once again.
"Do you miss my daughter?" Adaoh asked all of a sudden.
"Later Adaoh." he said quickly and was out of the room as if something was chasing him.
Cando shook his head and went after him.
"You know a simple 'Yes' won't kill you," he told his brother once he had caught up with him. "She was just asking you a normal question which a mother ought to ask."
"The way you had felt when I refer Rumi as your woman is the way that question is to me." Kando said to him, halting in his steps.
"Well these are different cases," Cando pointed out.
"So what do you expect me to say? That I am hurting here or that Gwen has always toyed with my feelings?"
"Yes, I was expecting that answer. Why didn't you tell her?"
"Because what I had with Gwen wasn't true love, it was a one sided love. Enough of you questioning me, let's go and check if our master has woken up." Kando said and headed for Dean's room without waiting for Cando to protest.

Ashland Kingdom: Palace:
Gwen wasn't so lucky when she came out of the kitchen and ran straight into Morgan, hitting him. The full plate of food she was carrying fell off her hands and she started crying.
"I am sorry sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going. Did I hurt you?" Morgan asks in concern as he tries to bring Gwen closer to his body to hug her.
Shaking his arms off her, his touch felt as if he was burning her skin. "I am not crying because of that I am crying because of my food on the floor, you just made me waste what I had struggled to get from the kitchen."
Taken aback from her answer a bit and her reaction towards him, he shrugged it off. "I will tell them to get another one for you."
"And what about this one?" she asked, pointing at the ones on the floor. Without waiting for his reply, she went down on her knees and began to eat.
"Isn't that embarrassing to you? Eating from the floor?" Morgan asked with raised brows. "You know there is more of that in the kitchen." he added a second later.
"You don't know what you are missing then, this is the best position to eat." Gwen replied nonchalantly. "I forgot to bring water along Morgan, could you please get it for me."
"Of course," Morgan said and ran to the kitchen, he emerged a minute later with a cup of water and was surprised when he saw no piece of rice was remaining on the floor. It was as if Gwen had licked the floor.
"Here it is." he said as he gave Gwen the water.
Saying her thanks after drinking to her satisfaction, she slowly stood up to her feet with the now cleaned empty plate and turned to head to the kitchen when Morgan stopped her.
"Stay here, let me do that for you." Morgan said, taking the plate and cup from her and running back to the kitchen. He came out once again and smiled when he saw Gwen in the same place he had left her. "Let's go to my room to talk." he told Gwen and without waiting for her response, he grabbed hold of arms gently and started tugging her after him, he had to make his hold strong each time Gwen tried to pull her arms away from him.
"What's going on with you Gwen? Are you hiding something from me?" Morgan asked as soon as they were in the comfy of his room.
"You are hurting me Morgan," Gwen said and he quickly let go of her arms.
"Tell me what's wrong?" he asked softly.
"There is nothing wrong with me, I just have a huge appetite today." Gwen replied. "But there is something else I want to tell you. I have discussed it with Juno and Storm and it's in my position to tell you and not them."
"And what is it?" Morgan asked, having a feeling that he wouldn't like what Gwen wanted to tell him.
"I don't love you anymore Morgan."
There, finally she let it out.
"What?"
"I don't love you anymore." Gwen repeated.
