Storm's Room:

"I love you Kando." Gwen repeated as Kando moved closer to her so that she could rest her head on his chest and he could start rubbing her cheeks slowly in caress. She let out a contented sigh which she didn't hide. "You know, I wish we could stay here all day for the rest of our lives." she whispered.

"Me too, Beautiful," Kando said, remembering he had to go back to Kudarma Kingdom soon, at least to give the news of their defeat to Dean. "But for now let me enjoy this." he added with a smile, kissing the top of Gwen's head.

Kando smelt the presence of Morgan before he even neared the door. He became agitated but tried not to allow his body to give way. Seeing Morgan, will Gwenevere change her mind about him once again? What if she only loved him because she was carrying his child? A lot of what if ran through his mind that he hoped were not true.

The knock came again but neither Kando or Gwen said anything.

Then suddenly the door was kicked open which made Gwen raise up her head from his chest to see who it was. She couldn't stop herself from rolling her eyes when she saw Morgan entering inside the room like he had every right to.

She could see he was angry, not at her; because he wasn't staring at her, but he was angry at Kando, he was glaring at him as if he was stabbing him.

"Take away your filthy hands from her." Morgan sneered in anger as he stared heatedly at Kando. If looks could kill Kando would have been buried 10 feet underground. But when Kando made no move to remove his hands from Gwen, it made him shake in anger. "Didn't you hear what I said birdman or should I spell it out for you?" he added in a menace stance.

Kando couldn't help but sigh out loudly, until Gwen shun Morgan to his face, he believes whatever she had told him were lies. He was tired of fighting and repeating himself to her everyday. What if she was just toying with his emotions? What if she is just doing it so that she could make him and Morgan fight and that would upset Storm thus making the second Edgardo come for his head? What if it's because of the pregnancy? He was just tired of fighting for her attention and won't be doing that every day of his life, there are more pressing dangers ahead that he needs to worry about, like Dean attacking them tomorrow and making sure Adaoh and her children never get hurt in the war coming. They are his and his brother's responsibility.

Heaving out a sigh again, he made to stand up and get away from Gwen when her hands clasped him tightly, stopping him.

"Don't you dare." Gwen told him with narrowed eyes. Then smiled when Kando made no move to get away from her, she turned her attention back at Morgan, her smile gone now. "And what are you trying to do Morgan? What are you trying to prove here? I have told you that I am no longer interested in you. I don't love you anymore Morgan, I'm in love with Kando why can't it sink inside your head?" she asked. If not that her stomach was slightly in pain, she would have stood up and given him a hard slap.

She hoped Kando wasn't having a second thought about this, for her love for him is pure and from the bottom of her heart.

"What am I doing? I am saving you from him. Do you honestly believe he loves you?" he demanded and Gwen gave a short nod, which made him flare his nose angrily. "If he loves like he claims now imagine my own love times two of his own. No one can ever love you the way I do Gwen." he added and covered the distance between them, grabbing hold of Gwen's hands in his.

Gwen was surprised when Morgan grabbed hold of her hands and Kando didn't do anything, a glance at a quiet Kando made her see he had closed his eyes and was rubbing his nose with his left hand. Did he not believe her when she said she loved him? What can she do to make him realize how much he meant to her. She was tired of Morgan trying unsuccessfully to bring them back together.

"Morgan, enough of this nonsense, I don't love you, I'm in love with Kando and I have told you that. Kando is the one my heart beats for," she said, making sure Kando's name never leaves her mouth. She wants to assure him that she meant every word that she spoke and that she was playing with his feelings. "Stop all this nonsense Morgan, it won't help you." she added.

"What can he offer you that I can't? He has nothing to his name or have you forgotten he is a slave to my uncle Dean and he runs errands for him. Or did you also forget that part? He has no home to his name or money, he is just a slave who would do anything his owner wants from him. Is that the kind of man you want to live with, to settle down with, Gwen? I don't think so," Morgan said and ignored the growls coming from Kando. He wasn't scared of him or his growls. He hoped that Gwen would see that Kando has nothing to offer to her. He has no title to his name, a house, a servant, money like he did. "But me on the other hand, just look at the bright side, I have everything a woman needs in her life, just name whatever you wish for and with a snap of my fingers it shall be brought to you. I can offer you what he can't Gwenevere, why are you still blind to see the handwriting? He doesn't love you, I do. I love you Gwen." he added, breathing hard as he finished speaking. He expected Gwen to jump into his arms right now.

"Morgan, you think I did not know before I fell in love with him? I don't care about all that. So what if he doesn't have a home yet or gold and silver coins? He has arms and feet and he is capable of providing a roof over my head and feeding me and our children," Gwen said to Morgan. "Unlike you who was born into riches, your late father's riches, take away your crown, palace and everything it comes with including your father's name and you will see that you are empty as you claim Kando to be. Kando isn't like you but he is a man after my own heart. Now leave us alone and get out of this room. I want to stay with Kando for as long as he is here and you will not come here to disturb us." she added, going a bit angry at him which made the pain from her stomach return.

"Gwen, I still love you even with your present condition isn't that enough to tell you that I will go through thick and thin for you? I will do anything, I mean everything to make you happy. I will make you a happy woman. You told me you loved me, right? Let's go back to the way we were before this stupid fool came into the picture." Morgan told Gwen. "If he needs his child, he can have it, if he doesn't want the child, I will take care of you and the child," he added.

"Morgan, I have talked and I am tired, I can't leave Kando and I can't be with you. That's the truth, you can't force me to love you. So please I am begging you to respect my wish. Leave us alone." She told him.

"I don't agree with this, Gwen. I can't leave you alone until death. I won't give up on you or your love. I will make sure you never leave this palace even if it is the last thing I will do," Morgan said to her and left the room in anger.

"You didn't say anything at all to defend yourself and our love for each other," Gwen said, a bit relieved that Morgan had left and a bit sad that Kando hadn't said a word to him. "You know I love you right? And I don't want to mess up things between us again. Please don't leave me."

"I won't leave you Beautiful, I will be here for as long as you want me." Kando told her with a smile on his face. He leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "Unless you drive me away, I intend to stay with you forever Gwenevere. I love you, forever and forever."

"I love you too Kando forever and forever, nothing and no one can separate us." Gwen said. "I'm hungry but I don't know if I will be able to eat since my stomach is paining."

"Are you in pain?" He asked in concern.

"Not when you are here, your presence alone has taken away some of the pain." Gwen answered in honesty. "But I am still hungry."

"Okay, let me go and find Kira and tell her." He said and made to get up from beside her but she stopped him.

"No, don't go, I don't want to be left alone, please."

"But you are hungry," Kando said with a sigh.

"Don't worry I can bear a little hunger, Storm or Kira will come here so don't bother yourself."

"If you say so," Kando said with a shrug and once again, Gwen rested her head on his chest and the heart beat of his heart drew her to sleep.

"Phoenix," Emera said, hoping his eyes weren't deceiving him. "Is this really you?" he asks and approaches her slowly until he gets to where she was, still smiling at him. He slowly stretches out his right hand to touch her arms and face, once he had confirmed she was real, he pulled her for a tight hug.

"It's me, Emera. I'm so happy to see you." Phoenix said, returning the hug.

"You don't know how happy I am to see you. I thought you were dead, in fact, seeing you alive and here in the palace has-"

Interrupting him with a slight chuckle. "I understand Emera," Phoenix said and at that moment they let go of each other.

Kira and Storm were holding each other's hands as they smiled at the reunion of Emera and Phoenix.

"How come? Where have you been all these years if you were still alive? Were you hiding? If yes from who? You know how Ariadne loved you and how he searched for you until the night you came to meet him with Storm. You know he can never hurt you, right?"

"Let's leave the things of the past and focus more on the present. If I hadn't done what I did back then, I doubt Storm would have been alive to see today and to answer one of your questions, I was taken against my will and was held as a prisoner until today when Storm found me with Juno and her sister Gwen." Phoenix explained as little as she could.

"There is a lot of story you have to tell me, but let me first go and take my bath and wash off this blood on me," Emera said and returned his gaze back to Storm. "I will be back soon." he added and waited until Storm had nodded before he left them.

"I never thought I would see Emera again," Phoenix said as they watched Emera walking away. "And also see you too," she added, referring to her last statement to Storm.

"I am hungry and I know Gwen must be as hungry as I-" Kira got Interrupted by Morgan.

"You have got to help me talk to your sister to make her see reason with me. I love her and I am sure Kando is just playing with her, so help me talk some sense into her, let her see reasons before it's too late." he pleaded with Kira, holding her hands in his.

"I believe she has told you her mind," Storm said, removing Kira's hands from Morgan's hold and stepping in front of her, blocking Morgan from seeing Kira. "Don't try to fight this love Morgan, she has dropped your sorry arse and has moved on with Kando, do the same and stop fighting this."

"You are not helping at all, Storm. You don't understand what love is because if you do, you won't be telling me to give up just like that. What if it is Juno who does this to you?" Morgan didn't get to complete his statement when Storm slapped him, though not too hard for him to lose his tooth, but blood poured out from his lips due to a cut inside his mouth. Morgan's mouth was wide open as he stared at Storm in bewilderment.

"Don't ever say that, your case and I are different, when did you know Gwenevere and when did I know Juno? This should tell you never to compare us and besides Gwen has a right to choose who she loves and sadly, it wasn't you she picked in the end. So please leave her alone." Storm warned him with gritted teeth.

Morgan glared angrily at Storm then stormed off.

"What's going on between him and Gwen?" Phoenix asked and Kira and Storm quickly filled her up. "Don't worry he will learn to accept the truth slowly when reality draws on him. It happened to me."

"You both should go and stay with Gwen, check if she is okay, while I go to the kitchen and fetch us some food." Kira said and without waiting for a word, she left them and headed for the kitchen.

Emera House:

Getting up to her feet. "This explains a lot Sarah, thank you for that," Rumi said. "And for a prisoner you talk way too much." She added.

Sarah couldn't say a word to that.

"I should be going," Rumi said again. "I will come back with water for you."

"So you won't release me?" Sarah asked in high hopes. At least she had told Rumi what she knew about Edgardo.

"No, after what you told me," Rumi said, staring upwards and tapping her jaw slightly in thought, as she smirked at Sarah. "I realized that I am going to use you against Edgardo."

"You sn.ake, I told you everything and I thought you would take me out of here at least."

"Expect the unexpected, my dear blind Sarah. I will see you after I return from the Palace."

Sarah was right. Rumi thought as she disappeared and appeared in her room.
