❤️ War And Death (Part 4) ❤️
The Borderline of Altamon:
The fight was frieced as Kando and Cando fought their way to meet Emera. Making sure they injure as little as they can, they almost got to where Emera was when unfortunately for Kando, he got blocked by Morgan.
"You know I can use this opportunity to kill you and tell Storm and Gwen that you died on the battlefield," Morgan said to Kando, killing one of the men that was from Kando's side in one swift move, "Actually that's a good idea." he added a second later.
"I don't have time for this nonsense. If you think you can defeat me then you don't know what you've signed up for." Kando told him. "Have you forgotten what I did to you when you tried this your stupidness or should I do that again? I bet you your mother is not here to help you get up and there is no wall behind you which will stop you from flying away from here forever." he reminded Morgan. "Focus on these ones you are managing to win and stay out of my path." he added and pushed him away from him, and continued his way towards Emera.
"He has a lot of patience unlike me, if you try this with me your head would have tasted my sword by now, in other words you will be headless." Cando told him and went after his brother.
Morgan was boiling in anger and took it out on his next victim. He has been reminded that he is not like them, it is not everyday you wake up to see someone with wings.
Emera gave a brief smile at Kando when he saw him and Kando nodded his head which signified that as he was here, it was time to switch places.
Kando and his brother started killing their own men and at the same time he was watching Emera and Morgan. Even though the boy annoys him every time they meet, he couldn't allow harm befall on him, after all Storm had told him to watch after him and he had promised him.

Kudarma Palace:
Rumi watched Dean as he began pacing around them. She wondered if Storm was truly coming or maybe he had changed his mind at the last minute.
Edgardo suddenly chuckled which made Rumi look up towards his direction and it made Dean halt in his movement to glare at him.
"Are you laughing at me? Unlike you I don't find this situation funny, I just want to be done with this and have my beauty sleep." Dean hissed. With Kira by my side. He thought but didn't say the words out so that he shouldn't offend Edgardo. It's so ironic that both of them would fall in love with the same woman.
"No," Edgardo grinned, giving a deep chuckle once again. "Storm is here," he added.
At that moment, Storm was seen crouching on one of the rooftops and he jumped. His landing made the Ninja's around him flying backwards and then he made all the Ninja's freeze wherever they were. They stopped moving.
"Where are the rest of you?" he asked, looking at the rooftops of his palace building to see if he could make out any silhouette of anyone but he saw none. He returned his gaze back to Storm. Without the aid of an oil lamp, the rays from the moonlight were enough for them to see clearly. "Where is Kira?" Dean demanded. He thought that Kira would follow Storm.
"At home, in my bed, where she belongs and ought to be." Storm answered, though he was answering Dean but his eyes never left Edgardo red ones. He gave a lopsided smile when he saw Edgardo's reaction. "And yes I came alone, do you have a problem with that?"
"And you think you can take down all of us by yourself. Let me remind you that I have Edgardo by my side and you have no idea what he can do to you with a snap of his fingers." Dean boasted as he mentioned Edgardo's name. Both may look alike but Storm doesn't know the strength of Edgardo yet and he is about to find out soon.
"He should be in the past and remain there, I am in the future. The only mistake your Edgardo made was coming back when I am still alive." Storm told him.
"We will see about that," Edgardo said. "You have no idea who you are dealing with." he added and with a snap of his fingers his Ninja's were unfreezing in whatever Storm did to them. "Kill him, nice and slowly." he ordered them and all the Ninjas attacked him at once.
Dean made a move to join them but got stopped by Edgardo who shook his head at him.
"Don't." Edgardo muttered.
"Why?" Dean demanded. "This will be the best time to attack him from behind while he fights off the Ninjas. They will keep him busy, this is our best shot." he added glaring at Edgardo, then shifting his gaze to Storm and saw the way he was killing them. The sword was on fire and with it whoever he strikes with it went on flame and they became dry and became skeleton immediately. They were fast but he was faster.
"Do you think he will allow you to sneak up at him? Do you think this Ninjas will stop him? He could kill them like this." Edgardo answered and made gestures with his thumb and middle finger. "But he isn't and instead he is fighting them off, why, you may be wondering. He wants us to see how powerful he is so relax my friend and watch how he fights them and see how fast he is. That's how to defeat someone." he told Dean.
Now that what Edgardo had said made sense to him, he watched Storm. Edgardo was right, if Storm could freeze all of them what then stops him from killing them at their freeze state. Dean thought.
Rumi could barely hold herself from helping Storm. The more he fought and set them on fire, the more they became and she began to wonder where the hell are the Ninjas coming from. Seeing Storm defending himself puts her at ease a little bit as she waits for the right time to strike.
Soon enough, almost all the Ninjas were gone and about a hundred were remaining. The smell of freshly burnt bodies filled the air around them. None of them were attacking Storm, instead they surrounded him with their swords pointing at him. The guards that are in the Palace came to join the Ninjas.
"Seriously, I thought as you stole the Ninjas from our father you would have impacted more skills on them but I saw none of that, in fact they were fighting like a woman which made me wonder if their owner will be like them too." Storm uttered. "I have no time to waste." he added and aimed the sword Edgardo, who caught it before it could touch his chest.
Edgardo gaze hardened at Storm as he crushed the sword with his hands, squeezing the sword until it became like a ball in his hands. He threw it back to Storm and it landed at his feet.
"Just look at that," Edgardo gestured with his head. "That's how you will be once I am done with you," he added.
Storm smiled and tilted his head. Levitating all the dead bodies (skeleton) of the Ninjas around him, he pushed them forward towards Edgardo and Dean, separating the two of them.
Rumi ran towards the corridor of one of the buildings around, the darkness covering her for a while, then she was out and ran towards the Ninjas and guards, two swords in her hands smear with her blood as she throw one of them outside the Palace and use the other sword to fight against the Ninjas and guards.
Edgardo was expecting Storm to attack so he was prepared and dodged the bodies coming from all angles. He saw Storm's hand coming for his neck and he held onto it and smiled sheepishly at him.
"You think you could hide behind-" he didn't get to complete his statement when Storm used his other hand to punch him on his face and then kicked him on his stomach resulting in Edgardo flying backwards, hitting and breaking the walls.
Storm bent his head on impulse as Dean's sword went flying past him.
"And as for you. I have been dying to fight you." Storm said as he approached Dean. He ran towards him, the dead bodies clearing the way for him and he head bu.tt Dean but Dean caught his head and threw him away as if he weighed nothing.
His back made an impact with a pillar which broke and he fell down to the ground. The dead bodies floating around them all fall down.
"I'm not like Edgardo." Dean boasted as he approached Storm. His shoulder and head held high.
"You are not him, I know that," Storm said with a groan, spitting out blood from the cut inside his mouth. He just hoped his back wasn't broken. He slowly stands up to his feet. He gave Dean a bloody smile. "And that is why I am fighting you," he added. His two hands literally went into flame which he curled into a fist.
Dean copied him, his red hair going into flame, his red eyes glowing. "You are not the only one who could do that." He told Storm.
"I know and that's what makes the fight interesting." Storm told him and ran towards Dean.
Edgardo stood up from where he had fallen and dusted his clothes and stretched himself, whatever that was broken snapped back to place. A note to himself, Storm was strong and he was holding back. He could see Rumi fighting and killing his Ninjas, that betrayer, she has switched sides as quickly as she can when she saw him fall. How can she be fighting his Ninjas when it should be Storm? Once he is done with Storm, she will be the next one, it's a pity such a young talent will go. It seems he will be the one to end Dean's life. He ran towards Storm but Rumi blocked his path, killing the final guard as she pointed her bloodied sword towards him.
"It seems you are in a hurry, going somewhere?" Rumi asked questions.
"You shouldn't walk this path Rumi."
"I chose the path I will walk on and the path I am on has a promising future." Rumi told him. "So do not worry about the path I choose, instead worry about where you will be before dawn." She added.
"Don't think because you are a woman I will hold back, I won't."
"Then don't hold back Edgardo, I want to see the stuff you are made of, unless you are scared to fight me." Rumi grinned at him.
"Scared of you?" he said, tilting his head. Staring briefly at Dean who was busy then his gaze moved back to her. Two minutes and he will be done with her. "You got that wrong." He added a second later.
"Let's see," Rumi said, placing her sword at her neck and her other hand on her hip. "Ready whenever you are Edgardo." she added.
Edgardo smiled, he likes the guts of the girl who is about to die in his hand.
"I will remember your bravery Rumi." Edgardo told her and he closed his eyes and then his smile was gone, opening his eyes. "Kill yourself with that sword of yours." he commanded Rumi and smiled when he saw Rumi lifting up her sword from her neck and waited for the strike which never happened because Rumi throw her sword at him. It was an unexpected move which Edgardo wasn't expecting and he was just in time to twist his body, dodging the sword.
"You think I am just some kind of girl who just got to know that she has powers overnight? I know you might do this to me so I put on a resisting spell on me after all, I am not just an ordinary sorceress. I am one of King Aelfric's daughters and his blood runs through me, Edgardo." Rumi reminded him.
"I forgot that I am not dealing with a mere sorceress, so forgive me for being too soft on you."
Rumi smiled and collected one of the swords from the guard she had killed.
"Come on."

Ashland Kingdom: Palace:
The scream of Gwen filled the entire palace.
"Push harder my Lady, I can see the baby's head." Faith told Gwen encouraging her to push. She was losing a lot of blood.
Kira on the other hand was encouraging her sister.
Someone knocked on the door but they all ignored it and the knocking continued until Phoenix, who was cleaning off the sweat from Gwen's face, left what she was doing and went to open the door to shout at whoever it was, that was disturbing them.
She saw Empress Rose who stared at her in shock. Fred was standing beside his mother.
"I am so sorry for disturbing you but my mother would take no for an answer even when I told her she should stop." Fred apologized on his mother's behalf.
"Look, Gwen has gone into labor and we are busy, later." Phoenix said and slammed the door at their faces.
Empress Rose stared at the closed doors and remembered her mouth was open. Storm wasn't lying when he told her that his mother was back. Seeing Phoenix in flesh and blood made her remember who she was. She and Fred heard the scream of Gwen and Fred who had cared forced her to come so they came here.
"Doesn't Phoenix know my status here?" Empress Rose thundered. "I'm still the one who ended up with Ariadne and stayed with him until his death." She told herself.
"Mother, Gwen has gone into labor, so the only thing we can do is to pray for her safe delivery." Fred reminded his mother and dragged her back to her room. For now, there has been no attack in the Palace and he hopes it stays like that until everyone is back.
Few minutes later, the cries of a baby was heard.
Faith cut off the placenta and cleaned up the baby with its mother. She wrapped the child in one of the towels that hadn't been touched.
"It's a girl." she told Gwen as she gave the child to her.
Staring at her child, Gwen started crying. It looked so tiny and when the baby looked at her, she realized she had Kando eyes.
"Let me go and prepare something in the kitchen for you to eat, I will be really quick." Faith uttered as she cleaned her hands and left the room afterwards with the bucket of water and the wet and blo.ody towels used. She was happy for the new mother.
