❤️ My Hostage (Part 20) ❤️
"Yes father and he loves me back," Kira said without taking her eyes off Storm. "Now if you excuse me your highness I have better things to do." she added and left the room.
"Did something happen between the two of you?" Emera asked Storm once they were alone.
"No, why are you asking?" Fringing as if he doesn't know why Juno was behaving in such a way.
"Nothing, just that she wasn't so glad to see you here," Emera said. "Speaking of the devil, you never made any mention of Juno meeting Dean."
"It escaped my mind Uncle Emera, excuse me," Storm said, "But nevertheless you now know."
"Dean is dangerous, don't mess with him."
"And my name is?" he asked with a smile and left the room without waiting for Emera's answer.

Kira saw Kando and hurried to meet him.
"Did you sleep well?" Kira asked him.
"Yes, even though I nearly died of cold." Kando replied. "Unlike you who had your body heated close," he said with a smile which turned into a serious frown. "You are not falling for him, are you Kira? Don't upset Dean, you don't know what he is capable of doing so please let me just hope it's just a fling that will soon fade away."
"I wish Kando, when I remember everything, I remember some certain things and I love him."
"But does he feel the same way with you?" Kando has to ask.
"No."
"Then you shouldn't think too much, Kira," he said. "Dean loves you Kira and you know it, you should stick to that."
"Dean stole my choice away, Kando and I thought I loved him but that's the opposite, he did something to me which compel me to fall in love with him and not out of my free will like I did with Storm. For twelve years Kando, twelve good years I was forced to love someone who I am just grateful for saving me that day."
"I understand your plight but you have to know where I am heading. You know how Dean is, you know how undefeated his armies are and you and I know that we are not just talking about the normal guards we see littering around in the Palace, we are talking of one thousand undead armies who are asleep. Your Storm will stand no chance against that so you better rethink and just leave even though we didn't do what we came here for. Dean will understand and don't worry I will take the blame." Kando explained why Kira should forget her feelings for Storm and let them go back home to the way they were.
"So you will be leaving Gwen here?" Kira's sudden change of topic got Kando's eyebrow raised.
"No and once I bring her back to Kudarma and do everything in my power to make her happy then I will let her go into the arms of Morgan."
"Even if it hurts you?"
"Even if it fuc.king hurts me." Kando repeated Kira's words.
"We can't have them even though they are standing very close to us, right?" Kira spoke slowly as she came to a final conclusion. Try to hurt whatever feelings she has for Storm and see him as a friend. She doesn't want to start a war and Ashland fighting Kudarma will be bloody and she knows who will lose the battle. She doesn't want Storm dead yet. "You are right about leaving Kando, I am going to take my father with me."
Kando could only nod his head. "You are doing this Kingdom a huge favor."
"But Rumi...." she left her words unspoken.
"You tell Dean he will take care of her whichever way you want. He knows how to deal with her type."
Kira smiled. If Dean would make her forget who she is for a long time, handling the witch won't be a problem with him.
"We leave by dawn in two days' time."
"Fine with me Kira."
"I am really hungry here, come, let's go and trouble the cook." With that being said Kira and Kando head for the duration of the kitchen.

Storm didn't know why he was angry, scratch that, he does know why he was angry and was using his eyes to look around to find the object that had made him angry. He didn't notice Gwen until the lady was standing in front of him and putting one of her hands to halt him in his movement.
Snapping her fingers in front of his face which slowly brought him back to reality. Gwen had woken up and when she saw Morgan still sleeping, she sneaked out of his room without waking him up.
"Who made you angry?" Gwen asked and the look he shot at her made her know who had gotten him angry. "Juno? What did she do this time around?" she asked.
"Can you imagine Gwen, she said she is in love with Dean, someone who is old enough to be her father. My father's age grade if not more. Why can't she fall for guys that are her age?"
"Guys like you?" Gwen hinted and when she saw Storm glare she smiled sweetly at him. "You don't have to deny your feelings for her Storm. I am the only one here."
"I don't fuc.king have any feelings for Juno. I am just saying that Dean will be too old for her."
"Well maybe that is why she loves him." At Storm open gap mouth Gwen realized he was thinking about it and decided to change the topic. "Look Storm, let's forget about Dean and focus on why Juno is here with Kando. I had a chat with Kando and you won't believe what he told me."
"That Juno is sleeping with Dean?"
"Stop being jealous Storm."
"I am not jealous, I am only stating the facts."
"If you say so, we should go to your bedroom, what Kando told me needs to be discussed in private," Gwen said and turned around heading towards Storm room and was sure Storm was following her.
They enter his room.
"What's so important about what Kando told you?" Storm finally ask once they were in his room. The memories of what he and Juno had done came flooding in his head but he pushed the thoughts away and focused on Gwen.
"If I tell you, promise me that no matter what you won't fight or kill him," Gwen said.
"Why would I promise any of that when I don't even know what he told you."
"You have to promise me Storm."
"Okay, I promise."
"Swear it."
Rolling his eyes as he placed his right palm over his heart, "I give you my word."
"Better, so last night after we left you and Juno we went to the rooftop and he told me a lot of things, Storm."
"Like what?"
"He said the reason why he and Juno were here is because Dean sent them to kill the whole Royal family."
"I know that there is something wrong when they were interrogated and they told us they were sent to look around, who does that?"
"So you are not going to kill him?" Gwen asked.
"I will but I am still processing what you told me. Then why haven't they carried out their plan? Why did they allow us to put them in prison when they could escape at night?" Storm asks.
"He said that because Dean didn't inform them about you. He only told them about your step brothers and their mother but never made any mention of you. So my guess is that the reason why they haven't attacked them yet is that he might be watching you, to perhaps know your strength."
Storm smiled at that. "And he doesn't know that I am unpredictable. I am just showing a tiny, in fact a quarter of myself to them. They can't stand my real self."
"Don't let it get into your head, anyway, he also said Dean sent him and his brother to kill your father." The smile on Storm's face was gone and replaced with anger.
"He did what?"
"Yes, now listen very carefully to what I am about to say. Kando said when he and his brother had arrived in this Palace and had gone to your father's room, they met him dead."
It took a minute for what Gwen had said to register in his mind and when it did, his anger was gone. "What?" he asked surprisingly.
"Yes, your father was dead before they arrived which means someone else has killed him before they came."
"What if he is lying?"
"Come on Storm, don't be blinded by rage, use your head. Why would he tell me all these including the night he came to Ashland if he is lying? He also told me to tell you and make sure you didn't kill him."
"It's hard to believe," Storm said even though a part of him believed Kando. "But my father doesn't have any enemies. He was a good man."
"You spend all your own life with my father, how would you be so sure your father doesn't have an enemy?"
"I have no answer to that but the only one who could answer me is awake now and Uncle Emera knows everything concerning my father. So let's ask him."
Gwen nodded her head agreeing with Storm. "He also said that Dean saved him and his brother, though he doesn't remember what Dean saved them from, and now they are indebted to him and can't disobey his order," Gwen said.
"Then we use it to our advantage," Storm said.
"I don't understand you."
".." whatever Storm wanted to say was cut short by the knocking on the door.
"Yes, who is it?" Gwen asked.
"Sorry to disturb you my lady, but Lady Rumi has arrived and has requested for the presence of Emperor Storm."
Storm and Gwen then shared a look. Rumi has come like she promised. But why then is she requesting for his presence?
"Go and answer your wife," Gwen said as she started laughing at the glare Storm sent her way before he left his room. She would have followed him but not this time, somehow she knows Kira is somewhere and would have known the arrival of Rumi.

Kudarma Kingdom: Dean Palace (Room):
The sound of a deep groan from Dean made Cando hurriedly lean over his master to check on him. He saw Dean opening his eyes and staring into his eyes. Cando quickly gave some space between them and went down to his knees, bowing his head.
Dean slowly sits upright in his bed. He was surprised when he opened his eyes and saw Cando looking at him in concern which prompted his next question. What is Cando doing in his room?
"Why are you here Cando?" Dean asked as he looked at the place Cando was. He Ignored the emerging headache and waited for Cando's answer.
"I didn't see you early this morning so I decided to check on you and I saw you on the floor and carried you to your bed and waited for you to wake up my Emperor." Cando explained to his master. The last thing on his mind is to offend the one who had saved him and his brother.
"On the floor?" Dean asked and then remembered what happened to him last night. He had fallen down to the floor and had fallen asleep as if someone had commanded him to. Even in that state he had felt the presence of someone else in his room. "Get me a mirror, quickly!" he yelled and watched as Cando scrambled up to his feet and ran out of his room, he soon returned with a mirror and he collected the mirror from him, staring at his image carefully, checking if he could see something that wasn't supposed to be there. But his face looked normal and the same. He dropped the mirror, stood up from his bed and began to remove all his clothes. When he was naked, he turned his back to Cando. "Do you see any markings on my back?" he asked.
"No my Emperor, there are no markings," Cando replied and bowed his head.
Dean checked his front and didn't see any mark in there and put on only his trouser.
"I felt the presence of someone in my room last night," Dean began. "I am sure whoever it is must have done something in my Palace, go and check and report back to me." he ordered and Cando left to do as he said.
He picked up the mirror and stared at his reflection once again. "Who are you and what did you do to me?" he asked no one in particular and kept staring at himself as Cando returned.
"Everything is okay my Emperor," Cando said to him. "And also I would also sense if someone had broken into the Palace or into your room."
"So you are saying that I am imagining things, Cando?" Dean asked with clenched teeth as the mirror he was holding broke into pieces. The cut the mirror had made in his palm began to heal by itself as he walked over to meet Cando.
"That is not what I meant my Emperor I am just saying-"
Cutting him off by holding his neck and lifting him up, making his legs dangling in the air. Cando couldn't fight him and so just stayed limp.
"I know what I felt, Cando. I don't sleep on the floor and I remember falling to the floor, sleeping, but I could sense this strange person close to me and you are saying I am imagining things? How dare you!!!" Dean yelled out and threw Cando to the wall which collapsed over Dean's pushed and followed by the next five walls which suffered the same date as the first wall.
Dean started scratching his forehead furiously with his right fingers as the X sign showed and glowed on his forehead, he ignored the blood that had started to come out due to his scratching.
He stopped and with a snap on his finger with his left hand, Cando was back in his hand and the broken walls became whole again. The X was gone and so was the blood.
"Do not ever utter such a word to me again." he snarled at Cando. "Be happy that I am in a good mood today if not you will spend the rest of the day rebuilding the walls." he added and released his hold on Cando who fell to the floor in a thud.
"I am sorry my Emperor," Cando said with a raspy breath.
"Leave my presence right now." Dean barked. Cando was up to his feet and was almost out of his room when Dean's voice stopped him. "You will be leaving for Ashland today, tell Kando and Kira that they should return home. Make sure when you are coming back to my Palace, Kira is with you."
Cando nodded his head and left the room. Dean stares at his empty room for a while.
"Something is wrong with me and I am going to find out what it is. I am Dean after all," he said to the empty room.
Back in the Mysterious dark man unknown Lair, he laughed out as he watched Dean through the wall he was staring at. It faded back to the wall.
"He doesn't know anything yet Phoenix, he is too blind," the mysterious dark unknown man said as he faced the woman he had imprisoned all these years. "My plan is finally working."
"Please stop all this." Phoenix hoarse voice was heard.
"Do you think Storm will easily let Juno go back to Dean? Or you think Dean will stand by and watch what he desires and loves in the arms of Storm? Who do you think will win, Storm or Dean?" the mysterious dark unknown man asked and didn't wait for Phoenix's answer before he continued. "There are three sides in a battle, the first one is the winner, the second one is the loser and the third one is the side pulling the strings. But those going for a battle forgets about the third side. In this battle, the winner doesn't matter to me because I will always remain and will always be, the undefeated."
