"Are you okay father?" Kira asked as she gently hit his back and grabbed the cup of water in his tray to give to him which he collected and drank it all. "What's wrong with you father?" she asked again and Emera tried to control his heavy breathing.

"Nothing child, tell me more about your Adaoh," Emera said once he regained his breathing.

"Well she is my friend, after Dean had saved my life, me and Adaoh became friends."

"What was she doing in Kudarma Kingdom?"

"She was a prisoner."

"A prisoner? How? I thought she is strong and a witch."

"I don't really understand the story I was told but somehow a woman called Sarah was the one who had imprisoned Adaoh and had chained her." Kira explained.

"I still can't believe it," Emera whispered loudly, more to himself but Kira heard him.

"Can't believe what father? And oh, how did you know Adaoh was a witch?"

"Who doesn't know Adaoh and her two fighter friends, I wish Phoenix too is alive."

"You know Adaoh?"

"Yes of course I knew her. We were friends before she suddenly disappeared," Emera said. "You are going to bring her to me."

"I can't father, the chains holding are strong if not she could have broken out of it. They are invisible."

"I still can't believe what I am hearing, you have to tell Adaoh that you saw me and I send my regards to her once you return to Kudarma."

"I will father," Kira said, moving to the door and opening it. "Let me leave you to enjoy your meal. I will let you know if I am going." she added and left the room, closing the door behind her. She will roam about the palace until evening and then look for a room to sleep in or better still sleep in her father's room.

Adaoh is alive and she didn't even bother to send a signal to him. All these years he had thought she was dead, who could have believed Adaoh was just in Kudarma? Why would Dean capture her? Did she not recognize Juno as one of her daughters?

So many questions that are unanswered. He was confused and couldn't stop thinking.

Adaoh was alive.

Kudarma Kingdom: Dean Palace:

It was almost noon.

Cando stood at the top of the fence which separated Kudarma and Ashland and waited. Soon, it will be night and he will fly his way inside.

It was night and the moon was high up in the sky. Relaxing himself at the top of the rooftop, he sighed as he watched the moon and stars in the dark cloud.

Kando couldn't help himself but continued staring at the door that leads to Morgan room. And with the help of the wooden stave torch hanging on the wall brightened up some places in the palace and compound. Finally he returned his gaze back to the sky, Gwen had made it so clear to him. She has made her choice and he has to accept defeat.

He heard a humming tone and knew who it belonged to. He hummed back and soon Cando was seen by his side quietly, he was fast as his wings went inside his back. They were not in the best position to hug each other so they settled for a talk.

"Why are you here?" Kando asked his brother in a whisper. He spoke low because he knew the Ninjas were around and might be eavesdropping on their conversation right now which he doesn't want.

"Is that what you will say to me?" Cando asked with raised brows pretending to be angry.

"Be serious Cando," Kando said and when his brother made no effort to speak, he sighed and said. "Alright fine, I missed you so much little bro."

"That's it. It's so simple to say," Cando said with all smiles which faded once he remembered his reason for being here. "Dean wants you and Kira back. He said he doesn't want the both of you to carry on the task anymore. And why are we speaking in whispers?"

"I am happy," Kando replies and grimaces a little. "Storm Ninjas might be around us and I don't want them to know what we are speaking or that you are here." he added

"Okay that explains it. So Why did you say you are happy? You didn't kill them did you?" Cando questioned.

"No, I am happy that he asked us to return. We have made up our mind to return tomorrow and now you are here telling us what he said and making it very easy for us," Kando said. "Luckily for us, Kira somewhat helped out situation."

"So I will assume that you sitting here without being bound to chains has to do with Kira, right?" at Kando nod of head, he asked again. "What did she do?"

"It happens that she comes from this kingdom and her father is a good friend of their late Emperor. So she got us out of our cells and now we can now walk freely." Kando answered.

"Where is Lord Kira?"

"Somewhere I don't know and I don't really care. She can take care of herself," Kando said with a shrug.

"Okay," Cando said and playfully tugged his brother's shoulder. "Why are you up here alone and not in your room?"

"Nothing, can't I look at the sky again?" Kando asked.

Cando opens his mouth to retort when he stops at the sight of a lady who was looking around as if she was searching for something. He turned slightly to touch his brother if he noticed the lady but saw Kando staring at Gwen as if he wanted to mark her. His eyes were full with love? Fondness? He can't exactly point out which one.

Holding Cando hands he jumped and didn't land on the floor, rather he flew higher to the sky and was sure his flapping of wings was heard. With the way he was if someone was watching him, you'd think he was the only one. He made sure his body covered his brother.

Gwen had tried unsuccessfully to get away from Morgan but all to no avail. She needed to explain things to Kando. Her heart had almost stopped when she didn't see Kando on their way to Morgan room, even though she allowed Morgan to kiss her, she had imagined it was Kando that was kissing her. She just needed to explain things to him so that he wouldn't get the wrong idea but then again why was she thinking of Kando when she was with Morgan.

Why? She is in love with Morgan and not Kando.

She had to stay with Morgan until nightfall and wait until he was sleeping before she left his room. She hasn't heard or seen Storm since, which isn't her business. She just hopes Storm and Kira don't get into a fight over the pendant.

She came outside of the room and walked into the compound, slowly looking around just in case she saw Kando, she didn't want to miss him with her sharp eyes.

That was why she heard the flapping of wings and look up to see Kando flying away, damn, he look magnificent with that wings and she couldn't wait to run her fingers at him. how would it feel in her fingers? Soft? She sighed and decided to sit around in a corner and wait for Kando to come back.

"You are thinking about him," one of her Ninja brothers asked her from behind. "You like him?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about and besides I have got Morgan. He loves me and I love him back."

"Keep saying that to yourself Gwen," the Ninja said and then gestured to the sky. "I saw that, it was impressive."

"Don't tell Storm yet," Gwen said.

"I won't breathe a air Gwen. You know, from the little days we have been here and the days they spent here, Kando is in love with you but you are too blind to see it, blinded by your love for Morgan."

"And how would you know? Kando talked to you?"

"He doesn't have to talk to me for me to know what he is feeling inside. Don't make a mistake Gwen," he said and was gone like the night as she couldn't feel his presence again.

Gwen pondered what she heard and shook her head. She loves Morgan and no one else.

They were at a safer side, far from the palace when Kando stopped and let go of Cando whose wings were out and flapping.

"Who is she?" Cando quickly demanded.

"Someone that has become important to me."

"So my hunch was true, you are in love with her?" Kando nodded his head. "What will our master say?"

"Don't tell our master anything Cando, she doesn't reciprocate my love back so it's one sided, from me of course."

"One sided? Why isn't she in love with you?" Cando asked.

"She is in love with someone else, Storm brother the one I and Kira were sent to kill." Kando said. "I made up my mind to take her with me when I leave Ashland either with love or force but then I have a change of heart today. I don't want to force her." he added.

"I see." Cando mused to himself.

"You can return back and tell our master we will be coming tomorrow." Dean said to his brother and without waiting for his response flew back to Ashland Palace.

When he landed gently on the roof, he jumped down swiftly, putting his wings away, and made to move when Gwen's voice stopped him.

"I was waiting for you, I saw you flew away and thought you were gone but I remember Kira is still alive," Gwen said trying to start a conversation between them.

"Now that you have seen me, what else? You want to cry on my shoulder and then run back into Morgan's arms even if he offends you?"

"What are you talking about Kando?" Gwen asked in confusion.

"You know what I am saying so stop pretending. I hate that," Kando said in anger. He will be leaving tomorrow so it's better he pour out everything burning inside of him.

"I am not pretending Kando, what did I do?"

"You want to know what you did?"

"If I knew, I wouldn't be asking you."

"You know how I feel about you and yet you are rubbing it on my face."

"I don't get Kando, how did you mean?" she asked.

"I love you Gwenevere right from the first day I saw you. I thought it was lust but the more time I spent with you and tease you, I realize how much I love to see you smile and the more you talk to me the more I fall hard for you..." Kando paused and then hugged Gwen, just this once, one last hug from her. He felt her arms around him, hugging him back.

"Kando I.."

"I understand Gwen, you don't see me in the same way, you can't blame my heart for going for something we bother can't have. You deserve to be happy. I hope he treats you well, I hope so.`` With that being said, Kando let go of his arms around her and step back.

"Probably we are not meant for each other, Beautiful. I hope he gives you the life that you deserve, Beautiful." he whispered and was gone, walking towards another section of the palace, away from the only woman who could drive him crazy. He needed to be alone and probably cry.

Gwen felt..sad and was holding back her tears. Why hasn't she said anything to stop Kando? Why did she feel as if her heart had been ripped into pieces? And why is she crying? Gwen thought as she felt her warm tears running down her cheeks, she quickly wiped clean her tears.

Cando, who was still in the sky and watching them with his sharp eagle eyes, came up with a plan.

Gwen wanted to run after Kando but was suddenly held back by Morgan, who quickly wrapped his arms around her and made her back rest on his body.

"I heard everything, though not everything since I was not here from the beginning, but I heard what he told you. Don't worry, I will treat you right Gwen and prove to him that you are better off to me than to him. How can a servant be compared to a King, not just any King but to an Emperor. Don't worry, I will make sure you never shed a tear again. I will do the right thing Gwen. I love you, never forget that." Morgan said, with what he heard from Kando he is never letting go of Gwen, damn his mother. He won't chicken out on Gwen when she sees him with her again, this time around he is going to man up and tell her to her face how in love he is with her and he is ready to take the next step. "Don't let what he told you get to you, he is lying and doesn't love you. He's only doing this so that he can separate us but he can't, right?"

Gwen nodded her head and didn't know what to do. She ought to be glad at the words Morgan was telling her but she didn't feel happy, it felt like a mistake to be in Morgan's arms and not Kando.

"Let's go to my room, I woke up and couldn't find you. I am so glad I came at the right time so that that slave words won't manipulate you," Morgan said and led Gwen back to his room.

Maybe being with Morgan will make her forget about Kando. But she couldn't forget Kando's confession to her. He loves her.

Morgan wanted to kiss one they were in his room but Gwen shook her head, removed her boot and went back to the bed she had left a few minutes ago. She could feel Morgan's eyes on her.

"I just want your arms around me Morgan, just hold me." Probably with him close, she will forget about Kando and how safe she had felt when he hugged her.

"With pleasure my love," he said, doing what his beloved said.

Storm, who has been in his room since couldn't sleep and was a bit startled when he heard someone knocking on his door. He had locked it inside and went to unlock, opening the door he saw Juno, looking more beautiful in her white flowery gown she wore. Her hair was let down and Storm fought the urge to run his fingers in it and to his shock he realized he was raising a boner but didn't care if Juno saw it.

"I'm sorry for the way I reacted earlier, Storm." he wasn't expecting that.

Taken aback by her apology, he nodded his head.

"Won't you allow me in?"

Storm made way for her to pass and as soon as he closed the door and turned around, she was closer to him, invading his personal space and he liked it.

"Storm." He liked the way his name sounded in her mouth and felt Juno hands in his which she placed on her hips, he happily obliged and drew her body much closer to him, this time their body were touching. "I will be leaving tomorrow."

Storm closed his eyes and pretended to agree with her, she is going nowhere.

"Open your stunning eyes Storm, I want to see them." Storm did immediately. Slowly she placed her hand on his di*k and palmed it earning a small moan from the man. "I need you to sleep with me, let me rephrase that, I want you to fu.ck me into oblivion."

The mysterious man who was watching them clenched his fingers. He was shaking in anger.
