Fifty Five
Alpha Cameroon, his beta, and all the other alphas present in the world arrived at Killan's palace as instructed by his grandfather. Many people were confused to see Putin in the alpha's chair instead of Killan, but Putin assured them that Killan was still in charge of the pack and that he was out of the country reflecting on his mistakes. Of course, he didn't hide anything from them. He told them what he had done, and that was why he had to intervene; otherwise, the pack would have sunk completely. He urged that they forget their rivalry and at least come together for once to fight the Lycan out there, who had already formed his own pack and would soon attack them. He also made them know that although his grandson Killan wasn't there, he would soon arrive with help because out there he didn't just go to reflect on what he had done but to find ways in which they would either get rid of the Lycan or come into peaceful terms with him. It wasn't a secret, but they also knew that whatever positions of power they were holding weren't theirs but belonged to the Lycans.
None of the existing alphas had anything to do with it; all those who were to blame were their ancestors, who were now no more. When Putin asked if any of the alphas had a way to deal with all that, Alpha Cameroon was the first one to go, and he said what his wife had said when they were still at home. That when the Lycan and his guardian finally attack, they should all come together and tell him that they are ready to return what is rightfully his as long as he spares their lives. Ninety-five percent of the alphas agreed to that until Alpha Kepha, who was Keziah's dad, asked what they would do in case the Lycan wanted nothing to do with their position but decided to fight and get rid of all of them as prophesied in the books.
"We will fight," A voice thundered from the door. It was Killan; he had already arrived with his sister by her side and General Kian trailing behind them. With that said, all the alphas came together to make plans. No one knew when the Lycan would attack, but they had to get down with all their fight-back plans as soon as possible.
"Where is the rogue who told you all this, granddad? We should ask him more. Like, how does this Lycan look in his human form and as his guardian as well? We might be here preparing ourselves because we all believe they'll come in their beast forms, but what if they approach us as humans and turn against us? Or what if the rogue who brought you all this information is the same Lycan we have been looking for?" Killan asked them. The hall went quiet as everyone pondered his words. It's true; no one knows how that Lycan looks in his human form, and neither does his guardian. So what if...
"Let's not think much about that. If that man could have been the Lycan, he would have attacked by now. Someone go and bring him here. He should answer this question." Alpha Putin demanded One of the guards quickly volunteered himself to go and pick up the rogue. He was found sitting exactly where Apha Putin had asked him to. He bowed slightly the moment the guard came in.
"You are needed at the hall, Gentleman." The guard held his hand and pulled him to his feet. The guards were now gentle, as Alpha Putin had asked them to bring to an end their violet ways of handling culprits and anyone they suspected to be one. He pointed out that their violent ways of handling people may have been one of the reasons why people harbored hatred towards each other and ended up fighting at the end, creating an unnecessary enmity.
"Gentle man, can you describe how this Lycan and his guardian look in human form, please?" Apha Killan motioned for him to stand in front of everyone so that they could all hear him clearly and take note of what he'd be saying. An artist, who was to draw whatever the rogue would say, was also present.
First, the Lycan is a she, not a he." The man started by clearing up the misunderstanding that the Lycan was a he, and the hall was filled with gasps of shock. Female Lycans were the most dangerous. "And secondly, I don't think any of us can defeat this Lycan and her guardian. I have witnessed their powers, and whatever they say in books that it's only the moon gods who can kill them is not a lie. I am not trying to scare any of you, but I just want to warn you. Don't approach them with violence when they come, not unless they start the violence themselves." The man said
After a heavy silence, someone raised his hand from the back and was given the chance to speak. "Gentleman, we have heard that the Lycan has taken all the rogues out there on her side, and you just said that they have stronger powers. If that's the case, why are you here? Why shouldn't we think that you are their spy?" Everyone agreed with this person's questions. Even Alpha Putin and his grandson
"Because they sent me. Our Lycan sent me. She said, that I should tell you all that each one of you shall bow at her feet." The hall broke into discussions. The gentleman raised his hands to silence them and then continued, "As for what they look like, they said that they will reveal themselves before they make you all bow down to them because they won't come in their beast forms but as humans. I should warn all of you: this Lycan is someone you all know. This guardian is someone you all know as well. Be prepared." With that, the gentleman bowed and walked out of the hall. The way he walked out of the palace and went back to where he came from was something that went unnoticed because everyone was involved in the discussion.
After that man's words, Alpha Putin adjourned the meeting. He advised that they all should wait for the Lycan and listen to her terms in case she had any. "Let's hope that this gentleman hasn't lied to us. And even if that Lycan and her guardian will come in their human forms, we should all be prepared because you never know," he concluded this speech.
Back home, Alpha Cameroon and his wife sat their daughter Lakisha down to ask them if Noah had called her to take back his words. When she said that he didn't and that he had blocked her everywhere, they decided that she should file for divorce and wait for someone who will love her for who she is and not because her father is an alpha and she is rich. Alpha Cameroon never forgave Larrisa, and after discussing it with his wife, they told Beta Harris everything. Larrisa was taken to court and sentenced to forty years in prison. Twenty for trying to kill Ash, and another twenty for trying to kill Killan. As for Alina, she was given life imprisonment because all her crimes couldn't be pardoned. She had hurt so many people, and many people had lost their lives in the process.
Back in the forest, Ash finally came to terms with his feelings and poured his heart out to Camila, who, shockingly, also admitted to being in love with him. She wasn't in love with him before, but the four months they had been living together at their secret house in the mountains had made her crazy for him as well.
Kamilina's wolf did come. She came when she was out for vacation with his brother and Kian, and just like Kian had said, she turned out to be her mate. They were both thrilled beyond normal. Putin had made it clear that they wouldn't stay together until Kamilina graduated from University.
"It's final the day," Camila woke up one day and told Ash after they were done with breakfast and had already dressed themselves for the day.
"Of course it is, babe. Shall we?" He gave out his hand to her. Hand in hand, they ventured out of the forest to the city. They had sent a letter the previous day to Alpha Putin and asked him to call everyone for a meeting. They insisted that everyone should be present. Unpatiently, everyone sat, their hearts racing in fear. It was six hours later than when their butts had stated to ache from sitting for so long when a guard came in screaming that Camila was alive and was coming. Everyone gasped, looking at the door with anticipation, and truly, Camila walked in with Ash by her side.
"Is she the Lycan? Isn't she supposed to be dead?" Someone asked loud enough for everyone to hear. To answer their question, Camila growled, causing everyone to shake in fear. With Ash holding her hand, she shifted into the largest beast no one has ever come across. She was no longer the same size as she was when first seen; she had grown much larger and bigger than before. Thanks to Ash's training After letting everyone know who she was, still in her beast form, she walked out of the hall to another room, where she shifted to her human form and put on another pair of clean clothes.
"So, are you agreeing to our terms or should we strike?" She asked while walking in. "And oh, lest I forget, Ash is my guardian and my real mate." She winked at them, causing them to gasp in shock. It was unbelievable. "Whoever tampered with our mate bond when we were still young knows herself, and we are not to mention her, but trust me, we will definitely come to her." She directed her gaze to a particular person sitting at the front who was already shaking in fear.
"Our terms are that you all desert your positions and bow down to us right away because from now on, we are taking over. I will be your queen, while my dear Ash here will be your King. Or you refuse, and my entire army will make sure that none of you gets out of here alive. So, will you all agree to our terms or not?" She asked them with a mischievous smirk on her face.
The hall went silent. Dead Silent!
-THE END-
