“Mr. Gu, why did Young Master Ye come to the school?” He waited in the office for a long time but didn’t mention anything. When he came in, he asked for some tea and started doing his own business on the sofa. He didn’t even say what he was here for. Everyone was very anxious because of this.
Gu San didn’t blame him. He patted his shoulder and smiled. “It’s fine, he’s just waiting for someone.”
“Waiting for someone?” The principal was confused. “Waiting for who?”
Gu San replied, “A student from your school.”
He meant a student who had come for the exam.
The principal misunderstood him and thought of the gossip he heard occasionally. He suddenly had an epiphany. “Oh, is Young Master Ye waiting for Jiang Xianrou? The student union in charge of welcoming the new students has just left.”

The man who had been playing with his phone finally looked up. He put his phone away and stood up.
His height seemed to tower over others and make people short of breath.
“Principal, has the exam ended?”
The principal checked the time and realized that the exam had ended 20 minutes ago. He nodded. “Yes, the exam has ended.”
Ye Wangchuan’s eyes were as deep as a bottomless pit as he said, “Help me check a student’s grades.”

Qiao Nian came out of the examination room at exactly 12:00 PM. It was quite cold in October, but the weather in Beijing today was good. The skies were clear and there was sunshine. The warmth enveloped her body, and she didn’t feel too hot or too cold.
After being stuck in the examination room for 4 hours, a sudden gust of wind made her mind much clearer.
Qiao Nian rubbed her swollen temples and was about to go out. She took out her phone from her bag, and just before she could turn it on, a voice suddenly came from the side. “Nian Nian.”
She raised her eyes. She didn’t expect to see Qiao Weimin in Beijing. The man seemed quite old and not as spirited as back in the Waterside Loft. In a short month, he seemed to have aged 10 years. Seeing that she was looking over, Qiao Weimin rubbed his hands and seemed to be at a loss.
Qiao Nian withdrew her gaze. Her eyes were cold, and she was already mentally prepared for him to find fault with her. “What’s the problem?”
Hearing her indifferent tone, Qiao Weimin was startled. He smiled bitterly and went straight to the point. “It’s nothing. I just saw you come for the examination and wanted to ask you how you did.”
Already accustomed to him speaking coldly or arrogantly to her, Qiao Nian was not used to his sudden change in attitude.

Her final score would depend on the essay.
