Chapter Sixty

Kelly didn't let him finish.

"I'm fine, Dimitri" she snapped. "I was just tired and I lost track of time... Like I said before. Don't act like you care"

Dimitri sighed. "You are my wife, Kelly. You are carrying my baby... Of course I care"

"Well not really" She pulled a face and turned away from him to fix the bed sheets. Anything to stop herself from looking at him. He was spectacular, she thought weakly. Stunning. Gorgeous. Virile. Masculine. Ignoring the slow curl of heat low in her pelvis, she closed her eyes briefly and talked sense into herself. "You married the company. And I sort of came along too, which must have been pretty inconvenient for you you"

With a harsh expletive that she didn't understand, he crossed the bedroom and pulled her away from bed. "Enough, Kelly" his voice was a low, throaty growl as he powered her gently against the wall and trapped her there with the heat of his body. "I have heard enough Kelly. You are determined to simplify the complicated and soon we are going to talk about that, but for now I have had enough of talking and I have had enough of being patient. I have given you time and space to calm down and be reasonable and it hasn't happened. Do you have to be so stubborn. You haven't even given me the chance to say anything. I admit that I was wrong but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give me a chance to explain myself or even apologize. Come on"

"Get away from me, Dimitri" she said. Overwhelmed by his masculine strength, the fire in his eyes, the sheer closeness of him, she pushed at his hard chest, struggling against a temptation so large and potentially dangerous that her movements became frantic. "Get away from me" she repeated.

"No way" Dimitri replied adamantly.

"Oh, God, please don't do this to us... To me" she wriggled against him in an attempt to free herself and then gave a soft moan as she felt the hard ridge of his arousal and the warmth of his breath as his mouth closed in on hers.

"Damn it. You are the most infuriating woman" Dimitri said as he planted his arms either side of her, blocking her escape. His voice was husky and seductive. "I don't know whether to strangle you or kiss you"

"Strangle me, definitely... It will be better for both of us" Kelly gasped, her heart pounding hard against her ribs, her head swimming. "I don't want you to kiss me. I really, really don't want you to kiss me...."

"I'm not listening to that anymore" he said.

If he kissed her she would be lost. If he kissed her, she would....

His mouth came down on hers with punishing force, his kiss ravenous and desperate, trapping her sob of need. His hands slid down her arms and lifted them to his neck. He wanted her to cling and she clung, her arms wrapped round his powerful shoulders, her own shoulders pressed against the wall, trapped by the force of his passion.

She forgot that she was mad at him. She forgot that she didn't want him to kiss her. She forgot that he had hurt her. She forgot that she had resolved to keep her distance. She forgot everything except the fact that she had kept her distance for two long weeks and now she needed him. She needed him badly.

His kiss was savage. A primitive assault on her senses that destroyed all thought and will power. Excitement whipped through her body like a loose electric wire as he stole and plundered. His left hand cupped her round stomach and cupped and rubbed it until all she could feel was the pumped up, insistent throb of pulsing masculinity.

She felt his hand slide up to cup her breast and she arched in a desperate plea for more. Responding to her silent demand, he used both hands to jerk her shirt open in a rough, impatient gesture. Neither of them were aware of their surroundings. They were aware only of each other. Of the pounding hammering of hearts and the frantic lock of seeking mouths.

"I need you naked. I have missed you so much.... You have no fucking idea how much I have missed you" Dimitri said hoarsely, his hands swift and determined as he stripped her of the rest of her clothes and she was so completely desperate for him that she did nothing but urge him on. Her entire focus became the insistent, throbbing ache deep within her body that grew to monumental proportions and threatened to drive her mad with frustration.

Need made her uncoordinated and she clawed at his suit, groaning in frustration with her fingers met fabric instead of flesh.

When she felt his mouth on her bare breast she closed her eyes and gasped at the sheer perfection of the feeling and when she felt his strong fingers slide between her legs she gave a moan of frustration because his touch brought her so close to ecstasy and yet not close enough.

The hard, cold wall of the room pressed against her bare back but she was oblivious to everything but her body and his. Her need and his.

Frantic for him, she reached down and fumbled with his zip and he covered her hand with his and helped her with the task. He was painfully aroused and hot and hard that her entire body throbbed with an urgency so monumental that nothing could have stopped the inevitable. Her desperation bordered on the indecent and she didn't even care.

He slipped a finger inside her and she gasped, throwing her head back as she moaned. He took the opportunity to plant kisses all over her neck and he slipped a second finger inside her, stretching her as his thumb rubbed her swollen clit. Kelly rode his fingers over and over again, but she wanted more. She wanted him.

"Now Dimitri" she said, her voice strangled. "Now please... Make love to me"

His eyes glinted dark as she said the words, his breathing harsh and he lifted her into his arms without hesitation and unto the bed. Kelly parted her legs immediately as he knelt before and entered her with a hard, possessive thrust that brought a sob of pleasure and relief to her lips.

"Oh fuck, baby" Dimitri groaned and he thrust deep inside her again.
