I watch her for the third time leaving this town and me behind. I wanted to break the window and shift into my wolf form, but I keep holding back myself. Jenna waved goodbye to me, but I am too deep in my thoughts to even bother.

Precisely I am hurt by her leaving me. Even if she is a nun now but still, she is my fucking mate. The Jenna that I desperately want to be with. When the car left, my wolf let out a howl of agony and suddenly I feel dizzy.

My head started to ache a lot that I fail to move but only to stumble back and fall on my bed. I lay flat down there without moving. The pain is too deep. It's keeping me paralyzed. I close my eyes and take a nap for a while.

When I wake up again after a while I don't feel the dizziness anymore. I can move my body around. I remove my clothes then threw them in the laundry hamper and grab my towel.

I turn on the shower letting it cool for a while. I step inside and feel the cold splash on my warm body. Relaxing every knot and muscle of my body. I try not to think of Sr. Claire. Somehow, I just could not erase her smile and her last words of farewell.

"Beta, we have a problem?" One of the warriors informs me through the link, distracting me from my train of thoughts.

I stop the shower and get out of it pulling a blue towel around my waist. I grab another small towel to dry my hair.

"What is it?"

I step out of the bathroom suite. I threw the small towel in the hamper and dry myself with the blue one while waiting for his response.

"We found Hobert's unconscious and battered body on the side of the road," he added on.

"Does Alpha know?" I ask him.

"He does Beta, but I think you should hear the situation from him," he said.

"Very well. I will be there in a minute" I told him and close off our link. I rush around to put on my shirt, black boxer, and black sweatpants.

Afterward, I rush down to Colby's office. I made it there in ten seconds. I stop outside of the door fixing my clothes and posture before walking inside.

When I open up the door, I thought it was just our Alpha, Gamma, and Colby. However, I am surprised to see elder Odega seated on one of the couches in the room.

"Beta" elder Odega greet me with a plain expression.

I should not be a worry but somehow my wolf and I have this weird feeling. Were very anxious and at the same so worried to hear Colby's words.

"Elder...What is going on?" I ask after greeting Odega.

"It's better if you take a seat first" Colby calmly said.

I settle down next to Odega. "Shawn, Hobert was attacked today on his way to drop off Sr. Claire." He said, dropping a huge bomb in front of me.

It may not be to them, but the person kidnapped is someone close to my heart. I can't believe this. This can't be happening to me. I hope he is not going to say she is dead.

"Clair- Jenna....was abducted and unfortunately we don't know who took her," said Colby.

I shook my head in denial. "No, it can't be."

"We're sorry but as for now we are waiting for Hobert to wake up and tell us the details."

That's it! I am not taking any of this bullshit.

They don't expect me to wait for a miracle to happen to Hobert while my mate is fucking out there and could be dead any fucking minute. Fuck, what if they kill her before I reach her.

"You're not kidding me, right?" I angrily said and stood up on my feet. "She's out there" I shouted.

"You can't possibly wait for Hobert" I scoff.

"Alpha, we need to look for her, right now" I said again hoping he would instantly agree. However, the prick just says we have to be sure of the danger were dealing with. I shake my head in disappointment. I try to think of who could have taken her then it clicks in my head.

"What are Hobert's wounds?" I ask.

"A fatal blow to his stomach, axis on his left arms and face all bloody with a simple black rose on him when others found him on the scene," Colby explains.

I stagger back. I know who did it and who Jenna's kidnappers are. This is what I have been trying to avoid but now it's happening.

"Shit, Alp......I know who took her. Please I need some warriors with me."

"Who Shawn?" he asked.

"Colby can you please do this for me.... just this once," I beg him.

"Not until I know the problem" he replies.

"There is no problem, please all I am asking are our best warriors to come with me," I beg him.

"No," he said.

"Colb-"

He cut me off and angrily say, "if there is no problem then know that your mate is always the problem here."

"Excuse me, my mate is the problem? Jenna has done nothing wrong here," I defended my mate.

"Oh yeah maybe if she didn't want to go today or broke the law by becoming a human nothing of this will happened," he said, and I scoff at his words.

"I am sorry Alpha but no..my mate is not the problem here. This wouldn't happen if it wasn't for your mate. So don't fucking say my mate is the problem here and ask your fucking mate instead. She's the problem here" I spat back, baring my fang at Colby.

He growls back at me, and I can see that if I continue to disrespect him with my words then he will kill me. "Why does it have it to do with your Luna?" he asked with gritted teeth.

Seeing Hailey move to exit the door I turn and say to Colby. "Why don't we ask your Luna. Right Hailey?"

Hailey stops at the door, her hand on the handle. Everyone's eyes in the room turn in her direction. Colby crosses his arm in front of his chest. He looks sternly at Hailey who slowly turns around to face us with a panicked expression on her face.

"Care to explain?" Colby asks Hailey and she lowers her head in shame.

Good and I don't regret ratting her out. It's time for me to consider my mate's feelings and safety. Colby resolves to clear his throat.

"Please everyone leaves us," she said in a shaky voice.

I scoff and storm out of the room. I started to run until I reach the hospital. "Hobert," I ask our pack register nurse.

"Beta, he's in room 265" she quickly replies.

"Thank you"

I made my way to the room. Opening it I feel sorry for Hobert. The guy looks all bandaged. I walk inside and take a seat beside his bed. "I am sorry Hobert for what you went through. I am sorry. I wish you a full speedy recovery. Hobert my mate is still out there" I started to tear up.

"I am afraid of what is going to happen to her." I try to wipe off my tears. "I don't even know what I am asking" I mutter. "I am sorry."

I stood up to go but his hand stops me. He put something in my hand before dropping it to his side. I take a look and find a piece of cloth in my hands. Opening it up I found a simple message written in his blood.

'R.Auction'

The old underground auction building. I mumble shoving the piece of paper in my pocket.

"Thank you...thank you Hobert" I wipe off my tear and hug him carefully. "Thank you," I said again, turning back and immediately exiting his room and the hospital. However, before I gladly start on my mission the gamma links me.

"What now?"
