Remember This Feel This

Kane is pissed that Keya doesn't want to come to live with us, permanently, immediately. I'm peeved about it too. But I understand that she is doing a lot for her family. Which is why I want to hire her some good, reliable help. That way, she will feel better about not having to do so much all the time. And now I know why she doesn't eat pork. I can dig that. We discuss how the vibe of this place feels like we've teleported somewhere else. I know it doesn't feel like we're still in Chitown. That's for damn sure.

But I love how peaceful it is here for the werewolves. They live within the city limits yet among their Kind. Keeping to themselves, not bothering anyone or anything. It's very chill here. I understand now why it's guarded so heavily. And they're homesteaders like my family were before moving to Chicago. They raise livestock here and grow fresh produce. Tomorrow, before we leave, I'm coming back through the town center to purchase some goods. Help support the locals.

The Delta informs us, "Your invitation envelope contains a map that shows you how to get to the Gala." I shake his hand and thank him. He leaves and we have to get ready for the party. We show Keya, who she belongs to in the shower. She acts like she doesn't want us to touch her. Tsk, girl, please. "Come your ass over here!" I grab her and sit her on my shoulders. She fights me till I dig my tongue up in her. 'Real talk, you need to stop acting like you don't want This.' I don't know why she plays hard to get. When she knows we already got her.

We get dressed. Everyone agrees to stay out of sight, out of mind, while we're at the party. Kane, Ja'el, Keya, and I are the only ones in attendance. Now, in the privacy of our suite, it's all good. But not in the public areas.

Damn, we look good together! I'm checking us out in this floor-length mirror. My Keya and I look like royalty! Decked out in our black and red, even our hair matches our outfits. My pitch-black curls and her blood-red waves. Her only makeup is red lipstick. But her cheeks are naturally flushed from us eating her out in the shower. 😏

I open the envelope to find the map of the inside of the Packhouse. Some areas are blocked out, captions read: Unrestricted! And some of the surrounding areas outside the Packhouse say the same. But a thick black line leads from our room to an area behind the Packhouse past the gardens. That's the place where the party's being held.

I take a few pictures of us before heading out. And hold her waist as I lead the way. While walking down the long marble hallway. We admire these large framed portraits of families and couples from previous generations. It seems they originally were from Italy. Everyone's last name is Di Lorenzi. The last painting changes up a bit, though. Instead of the Alpha title being in front of the name. It says Beta. I wonder if there was a shift in status or power.

We greet other couples walking along the same path leading to the gardens. "God, this is Amazing! Look! Hydrangeas, roses, lilies, hibiscus, lavender! I love these! Papi, it smells wonderful out here. I've always wanted a garden with lots of flowers. Do you like some of these too?" She beams up at me, excited. "Mami, I'll buy all of them if you want." Pissed, she sucks her teeth loud as fuck. Some of the people turn around, looking at us. "What?"

"That's not what I asked!" She frowns, rolling her eyes at me. She sighs and eyes me wearily. 'Look, I ain't with you for your money, dude. You don't have to buy me every-damn-thing!' I stand in front of her and cup her frowning face. 'Keya, look, I buy shit. That's just what I do. If you want them, I'll get them, okay?' She sighs. 'But that's not what I asked you. I only asked if you liked them. Not to buy them for me. I wanna know what you like. I don't know much about you.' She pouts. She wants to know more about me? Angie didn't give any fucks about me. I was just too blind and naïve to see it.

But Keya ain't like Angie at all! She's not with me for status or looks or even my money! She gives a true fuck about me and God, I love her for it! But we can discuss this later. "I'll tell you later, k?" She smiles... Fuckin beautiful. I scoop her up by that juicy ass and kiss the shit outta her! Sucking on her tongue and top lip for so long. When we are done, we're the only ones left in the garden.

We straighten ourselves out and continue walking on a red carpet to the Party area. We make it to the entrance when a guy in a suit asks our name. Kane says, 'I'll take it from here, Manuel.' What the hell?! He sighs. 'Fine! We can share. It's about time that you see the true power we hold over these wolves.' We then share control. And answer the guy. He nods and speaks into his walkie-talkie. Then tells us to proceed.

Walking into the party area, a spotlight hits us. And we hear Beta Javier enthusiastically recite our names loudly over the speakers. "Please, everyone, help me welcome our new guests, Manny, and His Keya!" Damn, I didn't expect this! I grow a little nervous. Everyone stands and happily applauds us. As we walk to our table, I feel a huge surge of power flow through me. As Kane lets everyone except Keya experience our powerful Aura!

I hear their surprised, collective, pained gasps and groans. As everyone literally falls to their knees, palms smack the floor, necks bent, eyes down. In total Submission! Shit, we did this?! 'Yes! We are stronger than all here! Do you now see the power we hold if we work together?' Fuck Yes, I do! 'Good. Feel this. Remember this. We Are Lycan! We have more strength than all of them combined. With just a look or our voice, we can Crush Them!'

What? Damn! 'Are we really that powerful?' 'And then some!' Shit, this is spooky. And also exciting! But seeing all of them vulnerable like this doesn't sit right with me. 'I think they get the point, Kane. We're stronger than them.' He scoffs arrogantly, 'I suppose.' He releases them from his power. They slowly stand then take their seats, peering anxiously our way.

We make our way to the table near the small stage where Beta Javier is waving us over. He approaches us nervously with his hand extended to me. "Damn, man. That was quite an entrance." I don't know what to say, so I just blow it off by shaking his hand. "Yeah. Great party man. I didn't expect all this. Y'all jamming up in here!" I laugh. He cheers up. Eyes us excitedly, "Y'all look good. Glad you made it. Any trouble finding the place?" "Nope, none at all." He nods. "Good. I'd like to introduce you to our new leaders. Alpha CJ and his Mate, Luna Tatianya. And their young son, DeAndre. Eventually, you'll meet my Mate, Joellee. She'll be back, she went to the ladies' room." We shake their hands. Then we all have a seat. Alpha CJ turns to me. "I've heard a little about you. But I'd rather hear it from you. Care to fill me in?"

I explained to them how we found out that we were wolves from our wolves. Kane corrects me. 'I'm A Lycan!' I relay the message. "Keya is a Werewolf. And I'm a Lycan." Alpha CJ exclaims, stunned. "Lycan! You're a Lycan? A real Lycan!?" I laugh, nodding. "Yes, I am. Why are you so surprised? You ain't met one before?" He shakes his head frantically. "Goddess, No! We only know of One. The first One. Viktor Van Klaus! But no living wolf has ever met him before."

Hell, he's my father. But I haven't met him either. I'm really interested in what my mom has to say about him tomorrow. Kane instructs, 'They do not need to know that info.. yet. And we've met him once before.' We have? He heavily sighs, annoyed. 'Yes! If you go into the mansion. You will see it for yourself. I don't understand what you are afraid of.' 'Soon, maybe I will.'

I ask CJ, "What do you mean, no living wolf?" "Just that he hasn't been seen in hundreds of years. All the wolves that have seen him are long gone. That's why we're surprised about you. You're the first one in ages!" Oh damn!
