Her eyes were swirling again. She looked curiously at me, but seemed distant somehow. Then I heard Kane yell, 'I am NOT a sneak-thief! She's our Mate! I can't steal what's already Mine!' He growls, causing my temples to throb again. He's been yelling ever since we got in. I squint, trying to focus on something other than this sex-crazed, enraged wolf in my head.
"Papi what's, Marked and Mated mean, do you know?" She asks me curiously.
"Yeah, Kane says it's a way of making Our Mate, which is you, permanently Ours! Marking is the bite that I was telling you about. It goes right here,"
I touched the spot on her neck that Kane told me our Mark will be on her. And," she paused and looked shocked, then said, "Kane can go screw himself for being an overbearing sneak-thief for trying to Mark us without proper consent!" At those words, Kane took over me instantly!

I pinned her under me, staring at her intensely. Rukeya looked terrified, but it wasn't her I needed to speak with. She was only the messenger. "Ja'el, come forth!" I commanded, and when I felt her presence, I yelled,
"I AM NOT A SNEAK-THIEF! AND YOU JA'EL ARE MINE, FOREVER! I DON'T NEED YOUR CONSENT BECAUSE YOU BELONG TO ME, DO YOU UNDERSTAND!" She immediately shows her submission and squeaks out, "Yes, Kane!" I never wanted to use my Alpha command on my Mate, but I refused to be called names that aren't true!
