“Sure!” Kane chuckles. Grammy goes and take a seat to enjoy the show. Trell is still confused. So while Kane goes into the half bathroom to change out of his clothes and into a bath towel. I explain to him. “Trell, um Manny and I are.. Werewolves.” ‘I’m a Lycan!’ Kane informs me over the mindlink. Lycan? But getting anything through Trell’s thick skull is nearly impossible! So of course he automatically doesn’t believe me. He laughs, “Keya, your imagination is too much sometimes! Hahaha! Werewolves ain’t real!” He continues to laugh, slapping his knee.

‘He doesn’t believe me, Kane.’ I admit, defeated. ‘Oh, he will soon.’ Kane chuckles arrogantly. He emerges from the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his hips. Grammy wolf whistles. “Are you ready to see the real me, Tiny Ones?” He asks my little brothers. Tey, Tez and Qwan all nod enthusiastically. Trell stops laughing momentarily, looking at all of us like we’re crazy. Then laughs harder! I just shake my head at the fool. I see Kane begin to shift. I go to hold his towel up in front of him. And the more Kane shifts. The quieter Trell gets. Till he’s left completely speechless. Kane stands tall in all his gorgeous furry black awesomeness! Trell gasps, “No way..”

My brothers are awestruck at the sight of him. Tey shyly walks over to me. Tugs on my dress and mumbles, pointing at Kane. “He looks like the one from my dream.” I bend down to his level to whisper. “That’s because the wolfman is his father.” I tip my head towards Kane. Tey’s little chocolate eyes lit up. “Whoooa!” Kane sits down and beckons Tey over to him with his head. Tey cautiously goes over. He stops right before Kane’s huge paws. Slightly shivering, he stands before the massive Wolf.

‘I’m going to mindlink him. And I’ll let you listen in.’ I nod. ‘So, Tey. You’ve had a dream of a Wolf, did you?’ Kane calmly asks him. Tey gasps stunned. Having never really had anyone mindlink him before. He gulps and nods. Kane leans forward a little and sniffs him. Kane hums knowingly. ‘Hmm, your own Wolf is strong and very smart. And soon he will awaken.’ Tey gasp happily, surprised. “S.. so I really ha.. have one too?” He stutters aloud. Kane nods.

Grammy asks me suspiciously. “Have what too?” I go talk to her while Kane and Tey continue their conversation. I mindlink her so the others don’t overhear. ‘Grammy, because Tey and I have to same parents. He’s a Werewolf too.’ ‘Oh Sweet Jesus, that’s right!’ She admires Tey, who’s still beaming bright eyed at Kane. “Well, ain’t that something. I have two wolves in the family.” She says it aloud, so now my brothers are overly excited and being dramatic. Also, asking a billion questions. To get their minds temporarily on something else. I tell them to go rub Kane’s fur. They run over and exclaim excitedly about how soft it is.

But we really have to get going. So I explain to everyone. “We know that this is some crazy stuff to see. But y’all can’t be telling anyone about us, okay? I mean it! I know that if we didn’t know about this. Then a lot of other people don’t know about it either. I don’t like giving y’all whuppings. But I gotta do what I gotta do if y’all go around telling people!” Threatening them with a whupping help to shut them up.. for now anyway.

‘My Keya?’ “Hmm?” ‘I’m going to shift back.’ I go and hold up the towel again. He returns to normal. Goes to the bathroom and gets dressed. “I will see y’all in a few days. Don’t mess this place up or it’s gonna be a problem when I return! I love y’all.” I give them all hugs and kisses. Papi tells Grammy. “Be on the lookout for a housekeeper and nanny. And let me know what you find, ok?” She sassily comments. Giving him such a hungry look. “Ok, I’ll let you know what I find, Stallion.” He blushes and visibly trembles. Lmao! We bid my family a swift farewell. And he all but pushes me out the door, lol!
