The Kiss

Xylo’s POV

“I missed you…”

That made my heart froze. This is the reason why I should refrain myself from seeing her. She knows too well my weakness; she knows perfectly how to tame this fucking wolf inside me. I cannot let these emotions cloud my mind…I cannot think clearly when she is looking at me like that, like she was about to cry.

I wasn’t able to control myself and hugged her. I missed her, too. All these things happening around in the kingdom is making me miss her. I wanted to be her by my side, but I cannot afford to let her be in danger. I wanted to make her mine, but the world will only be harsh towards her. Everything is contradicting…But I cannot control and deceive my own self.

“Hmm?” I asked her again, I wanted to hear her voice saying that she missed me. It is making me feel alive…

She started crying and I held her even more, for that reason. I tried my best to refrain myself from seeing her. I tried my goddamn best to avoid bringing harm in her life. But here I am…doing everything but my plan.

“You missed me, hmm?” Damn, I sounded so vulnerable and weak in that last words of mine.

She nodded, still crying in between my arms. I always wanted to do this to her, I always wanted to held her in my arms when she is crying. I wanted to fix the thing that is making her sad and fragile. I could make the world a better place for her…I could do anything with this woman in my arms.

I cannot understand why I am feeling this way towards her. I cannot understand what is happening with me…and my principles. I am bound to marry her sister…but with this woman crying in my arms, I want to run away from my responsibilities and be with her. It was so devastating to only see her from afar. It was a torment for me.

She looked at me with her eyes still full of tears. I cannot help but wipe those tears with my own fingers. I have been longing to do this much for her.

“You missed me?” I asked again, still wiping her tears from her cheeks.

She only nodded.

Clary’s POV

I only nodded when he asked me again if I did miss him. I cannot think of anything to say, all I want is to seize this moment with him. I am too afraid that he will not be showing again in the next days.

“Say that you missed me…” He said tenderly with his eyes full of expression. He looks so vulnerable and weak. I have never seen him like this. His ruthless eyes look so passionate today. It was deep…and passionate.

“I-I missed you.” I stuttered as I said those words in front of him. The expression in his eyes, full of emotions mixing all together, made me nervous.

“Really, hmm?” He said as he was caressing my cheeks with his right hand. My face heated at that gesture of him, I can imagine that my cheeks are both red from blushing because of him.

I gulped when he looked at my lips. I cannot contain the passion in his eyes. I can see that he has lost his control over his emotions.

His jaw clenched that made him look much more handsome, it defines the ruthlessness that his facial features exhibit. I bit my lip with that look of him, it did send me butterflies in my stomach. I can feel the tingling sensation in my stomach.

Me, biting my lip, was never a good choice at this moment as it only ignites the desire in Alpha Xylo’s eyes. It was full of desire and I could see the fire burning through it.

“Alpha…” I said weakly, unable to think of the right thing that I should do when our face is only a few inches away from each other and when he is looking like that…It is making my body burn all over, his eyes…It is too much…

“Hmm?” His voice is full of desire.

My thoughts become messier when he advanced and kissed me. My heart probably stopped being at that moment, and my lungs perhaps stopped from pumping oxygen…It seemed like the world stopped right at moment.

All I can feel is his soft and burning lips. He wrapped his arm around my waist and I cannot help but wrapped both of my hands at his neck to not fall out of balance. My knees weakened at that kiss and if I will not wrap my hands, I will probably slump in the grass my own knees.

The kiss lasted for few seconds and I can’t help but want to taste his lips more. I cannot help but to be touched by his lips once more…When I opened my eyes, his eyes is already opened and is the desire that he shown earlier does not changed even a bit. His desire is still all over his eyes.

He licked his lips and I cannot help but only look at those lips of him. He looks gorgeous with his eyes full of desire. He looks so attractive that makes me want to give everything I have.

This time, I did not hesitate and kissed him, wanting so badly to get the chance to taste his lips…It was sweet, his lips are sweet…making me want it even more.

“I’m in love with you…” I whispered after that kiss that we shared. I cannot take away my eyes in his lips, I just badly want it.

He did bite his lip when I said those words which made him sexier than ever. He smirked afterwards and played with my hair with his skin touching my neck.

“Hmm…” He sounded with tenderness and care.

“You are in love with who?” He possessively said as he placed his hand in my neck and kissed it. That sent a shiver in my spine…

I bit my lip and answered, “Alpha…”
