Chapter 31: PEAK DESIRES

DeLorna groaned softly as she opened her eyes. She didn't know how long she had slept but the last thing she remembered was her wanting to stand but her legs were too weak to support her body and thus gave way.

Jefferson had no choice but to tuck her bed and cuddle her to sleep which was the last thing she remembered.

She sat up on the bed as the event of the day rushed back to her head.

The wolves had attacked the pack and she ended up mind-linking Jefferson who came just in time to save her.

She looked around the large room wondering where he went. Though she remembered that before she went to sleep he went to the conveying hall to give a speech to the pack members so she wondered what was taking long. It was already sunset and he was yet to be back.

She wondered what might be keeping him busy. Maybe he was weighed down by some important matters of the pack which didn't allow him to leave. She wasn't angry at all, rather she was patiently waiting for him to come back.

She was going to use the next day to have a tour in the pack no matter what. She was sure Jefferson wouldn't be too busy to take her on a tour in the pack.

She looked around the room and sighed. She was just too bored. There was nothing to do here.

"Maybe I should get back to sleep," DeLorna thought as she prepared to pull up the quilt to sleep back.

Suddenly the door to the room opened and Jefferson came in.

Seeing this a smile appeared on DeLorna's lips and she sat up and looked at him with a smile.

Jefferson, who had run with full speed back to his room, opened the door.

Immediately he opened the door he saw DeLorna using the quilt to cover herself in preparation to go back to sleep.

But immediately she heard the door open, she sat up and looked at him with a smile.

Jefferson smiled and walked toward DeLorna and sat on the bed beside her.

"Have you found the culprit?" DeLorna asked as Jefferson sat on the edge of the bed.

Jefferson looked at DeLorna and smiled wryly. "The situation is complicated. I can't find the culprit that easily. I would need some time to do so. I don't want to rush in finding the person and end up accusing someone innocent."

"If that's the case why were you late? I bet you didn't spend thirty minutes addressing the members of the pack," DeLorna pouted.

"About that," Jefferson sighed.

"I was summoned by the elders of the pack."

"Elders of the pack!" DeLorna frowned.

Seeing DeLorna's reaction Jefferson knew she was confused so he explained who the elders were.

"What did they say?" DeLorna looked expectantly at Jefferson after he explained who the elders were.

"They just asked for some useless stuff," Jefferson replied. He didn't tell her that they wanted him to remove her from the position of Luna. Though he wasn't sure if she was interested in the position.

"Most importantly they asked me to bring you to see them. Would you be willing to go see them?" Jefferson smiled.

"See them! Why?" DeLorna frowned.

"Don't worry, I am not going to force you if you don't want to see them. You can decide if you want to see them or not." Jefferson smiled.

"But why do they want to see me?" DeLorna asked, still looking confused.

"Is it because I'm a human?"

Jefferson smiled bitterly hearing DeLorna's question.

"Yeah, it's partly the reason they want to see you. Also, I'm like a child to them. So I'm sure they want to give both of us their blessings."

"It depends if you want me to meet them. Then I'll be willing. And if you don't want me to meet them then there's no problem," DeLorna smiled and moved closer to Jefferson who was sitting on the bed.

"Then it's sealed. We are going to meet them tomorrow," Jefferson smiled. His mate looked beautiful to him. The more he stared at her the more he fell in love with her.

"When are you planning on waging the war," DeLorna asked looking into Jefferson's eyes.

"Very soon. You know I have to prepare the soldiers. Also, I have to talk to some other packs to see if they are interested in the war. It should take about a week or two." He replied, rubbing his chin.

"Do you'll be with me during those times," DeLorna smiled looking into Jefferson's eyes.

"Don't worry I would be with you," Jefferson replied, taking DeLorna into his arms and looking into her eyes before staring at her red lips.

He badly wanted to have a taste of the lips as they looked too alluring.

"Is there something on my lips?" DeLorna touched her lip when she saw Jefferson staring at them and refusing to take his eyes off them.

"I think there's something there," Jefferson smiled.

"What's there?" DeLorna furrowed her brows touching her lips and looked for what was on her lips.

Jefferson smirked seeing her actions. "Allow me to remove it for you." He smiled.

Seeing Jefferson smile sent shivers down DeLorna's spine and she suspected something was wrong.

"No, I would remove it myself," DeLorna refused.

"You can't remove it. Allow me," Jefferson smiled and moved his mouth closer to DeLorna's lips.

"Wait, can't you use your hands to remove it?" DeLorna frowned.

But Jefferson didn't reply and moved his lips closer to DeLorna's lips.

Soon their lips came in contact with each other. DeLorna felt a jolt of electricity pass through her body as she tried to control her muffled breathing.

She was startled for a moment before she reciprocated the kiss. She didn't know this was what he was talking about.

Jefferson who kissed DeLorna felt her become stiff for a moment before reciprocating the kiss. He had wanted to break it but she reciprocated it just before he cut it.

Jefferson followed her movement and did as she was doing such that their lips and tongue were going in such a movement it was amazing.

The passionate kiss continued for about two to three minutes as the atmosphere in the air rose and the two were lost in their lust.

DeLorna tried to control her breathing as she continued sucking onto his lips and tongue as he also did the same thing.

She felt his lips were the sweetest thing she had ever tasted in her life and didn't want to stop.

After about three or four minutes of a passionate kiss, they separated. But there was a fire in their eyes as both of them wanted more.

Jefferson brought his lips closer to DeLorna's as they started another round of kisses. This time it was more intense as a moan left DeLorna's lips as they were kissing.

Jefferson's hands traced down DeLorna's neck as she moaned slightly.

He stopped kissing her and looked into her eyes. "You sure ready?" He asked.

DeLorna nodded quickly and she wanted more. The lust had covered up her senses of reasoning as she wanted more.

Jefferson smiled as he traced his lips down her neck DeLorna moaned in pleasure.

He got back and looked into her eyes and kissed her again.

The kiss was intense and the temperature in the room rose to its highest level. The only thing that could be heard was the muffled breathing of Jefferson and DeLorna.

Jefferson used his hands to fondle DeLorna's breast while they were kissing.

DeLorna moaned immediately after Jefferson's hands came in contact with her breast. She wanted more. She didn't want him to stop.

Jefferson continued fondling DeLorna's breast for about a minute or two before he suddenly stopped.

He helped DeLorna remove the shirt she was wearing as it was blocking his view and unhooked her bra.

Immediately her twin peaks came into view. They were so huge that they left Jefferson staring at them. Though this was not the first time he had seen them. He was still mesmerized by the sight.

Immediately Jefferson took the two huge peaks into his hands and fondled them.

Suddenly a knock came at the door. immediately the two broke the kiss. DeLorna groaned in displeasure hearing the knock as Jefferson stood up to the door.

He knew it was none other than his sister who would be at the door as she was the only one who loved to disturb his peaceful moments.
