Chapter 61: PLAN B

"What are you thinking about?" A smooth sweet voice suddenly said jolting Jefferson out of his memory lane.

Jefferson who had been submerged into his memory lane smiled and faced DeLorna who had woken and was looking at him with a smile.

"It's nothing babe," Jefferson smiled stroking DeLorna's hair.

Jefferson smiled as he stroked DeLorna's hair affectionately, he felt as if his mate was even more beautiful at the moment.

All he wanted now was just to live a peaceful life with his mate and have children together.

"So how many babies do you wanna make with me?" Jefferson grinned.

"How many do you want?" DeLorna replied her face going red.

"Hmmm..." Jefferson rubbed his chin.

"Ten." He replied raising his ten fingers.

"Ten!" DeLorna replied her eyes almost popping out of their sockets.

"Yes ten," Jefferson replied innocently.

"I think you should go look for another woman then," DeLorna pouted turning around.

Jefferson smiled bitterly when she say this. Though he knew DeLorna knew he was joking about the ten babies he still had to beg her.

"Babe, I'm sorry..."

"I'll go with the numbers you want," Jefferson pleaded.

Immediately DeLorna turned around and looked at Jefferson with a grin.

"I want just one."

"Boy or girl, which do you prefer?" She smirked.

Immediately cold sweat covered Jefferson as he knew where the question was leading to.

"Hmmm..." Jefferson rubbed his chin.

"Which do you want?" He smiled.

"A girl, of course, she'll be like me.." DeLorna grinned.

"I won't give birth to a boy 'cause you two would be bullying me." She smiled.

"Don't worry I'll not bully you," Jefferson smiled bitterly.

"Are you sure?". DeLorna frowned.

"Yes," Jefferson nodded immediately.

"Then I'll give birth to a boy," DeLorna grinned mischievously.

Jefferson smiled bitterly he couldn't understand this mate of his.

"Cuddle me to sleep, you were the one who woke me anyway," DeLorna pouted.

Hearing her words confusion was written on Jefferson's face as he wondered when he woke DeLorna.

"You didn't sleep so I too couldn't sleep," DeLorna pouted.

Jefferson didn't know what to say again and just moved closer to DeLorna and started cuddling her.

In no time DeLorna was fast asleep. Jefferson could see that she was tired as she slept in less than five minutes.

Sighing Jefferson came out of bed going to the washroom. He was going to wash up.

Soon he came out of the washroom with water dripping off his body. Smiling he wiped away the water on his body before going to the wardrobe and putting on pyjamas before lying beside DeLorna who was fast asleep.

Closing his eyes Jefferson was also fast asleep. The last two days he hadn't been able to sleep as he always had his mate on his mind.

Anytime he managed to sleep he would dream that she left him which would make him wake up immediately.

Seeing it was a dream he wouldn't go back to sleep as he was afraid of it happening.

But now that his mate was back to him could sleep in peace without having to worry about anything.

Soon Jefferson was in the land of dreams seeing all kinds of beautiful things and he was very happy with this.

In the room beside Jefferson's room was Abigail's room.

Inside were Abigail and Emily sitting on a bed.

"What do we do now that Jefferson had refused to acknowledge me?" Emily frowned looking at Abigail.

"We move on to the next phase of the plan," Abigail smirked.

She had expected something like this. She knew if Emily was strong enough she would have known that DeLorna and Jefferson were back together.

Though she too only detected it when she heard some noises in Jefferson's room and then she decided to listen carefully.

Only to discover it was Jefferson and DeLorna conversing.

"What do you mean by the next phase of the plan?" Emily frowned her heart beating fast due to Abigail's words.

"I've expected something like this to happen so the next plan is to tell Jefferson you're pregnant with his child," Abigail grinned.

Hearing Abigail's words a smile appeared on Emily's face.

"But I'm not pregnant though I'm not sure of it yet," Emily frowned.

"That shouldn't be the problem," Abigail replied.

Immediately the smile on Emily's face became brighter.

"Don't be too happy yet, the next phase of the plans has something you have to know that you may likely not be happy with," Abigail frowned seemingly deep in thought.

Hearing Abigail's words the smile on Emily's face receded and was replaced with a frown.

"The first issue is that you might have to share Jefferson with DeLorna in this case..."

"Secondly you have to think of a way, by all means, to make Jefferson sleep with you so you'll be pregnant," Abigail stated.

"But Jefferson and DeLorna are not back together yet, why did you mention the first option?" Emily frowned.

"Yours still a quite naive Emily," Abigail smirked.

"Do you think the elders of the pack won't intervene and help Jefferson win DeLorna back?"

"Dot forget they love Jefferson very much. Also from the small interaction I had with them, I realized they also love DeLorna meaning they wouldn't want the two to be separated and would look for a means to make DeLorna forgive Jefferson," Abigail explained.

Emily's face with each sentence Abigail said. Though Abigail didn't tell Emily that DeLorna and Jefferson were back together yet.

"Also do you think those elders wouldn't have found out I was behind everything?" She continued.

Abigail's words made Emily's heart bear fast as she knew not what Jefferson might do when he finds out.

"Don't be scared Emily, the elders won't be able to tell Jefferson I was the one behind it as they know he would love to believe them."

"As long as we are careful in all we do Jefferson will never suspect us. He trusts me very much," Abigail smirked.

Hearing Abigail's words Emily's heart which was racing fast calmed and she was at peace.

"So what you have to do is to get Jefferson to sleep with you.." Abigail started.

"I'll suggest you don't try to drag him the best method is to seduce him which would hardly work as I'm sure he's steeled his heart and won't fall for any form of seduction from any female if not his mate so that'll be up to you to look for a way," Abigail concluded.

Hearing Abigail's words Emily fell into deep thought and wondered how she was going to go around it.

But she didn't worry much as she was sure Abigail would help her out.
