Chapter 70: SURPRISE
SOME MONTHS LATER
*** Dark Moon Pack ***
Alpha Jake received the news about the death of the maid he sent to poison Delorna.
He was angry that his plan failed.
"How can she be so stupid to allow him to suspect her!" He yelled.
"Your highness, we should be celebrating because she didn't expose us, or else Alpha Jefferson Will have to destroy our pack by now, he is ready to do anything for his Luna, I even heard that he used to cook for her because he doesn't trust anyone."
His guard replied.
"He thinks he is wise enough, he has destroyed my happiness and made me live a terrible life that's why what I will do next will be something that will make him wish to die but he will never die, I will make him go through pains after pains I promise, and no matter how long that may take, I will definitely fulfill my promise." Alpha Jake exclaimed.

"Are we almost there?" Delorna asked getting tired of her eyes closed.
Alpha Jefferson planned a surprise for her and he tied her eyes.
She pouted.
"Just tell me what it is?" Delorna said.
"Sorry I can't, it's a surprise." Alpha Jefferson replied.
"Great, you can now open your eyes."
Jefferson said and untied her eyes, her jaws dropped at what she saw next.
Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth with her palms.
"So do you like our baby's new room?"
Alpha Jefferson asked.
She stared at the decorations, the placards pasted on the walls about how much Jefferson loved the baby.
A beautiful cradle, and a giant wardrobe filled with clothes, on the other side, were different kinds of teddies and toys.
"They are so beautiful Jeff, but that's too much," Delorna exclaimed.
"Nothing is too much for our baby, I want that when he grows up, he will be so proud of his father and he will understand how much his father loves him." Alpha Jefferson replied.
"Thank you so much," Delorna said and hugged him tightly.
He went on his knees and kissed her tummy.
He felt a little kick.
"Yayyyyy, my baby said he loves me."
Alpha Jefferson jumped.
Delorna laughed at his silly ness.
They sat down.
"So what should we name our baby?" He asked.
"What if she is a girl?" Delorna replied.
"Then I will name her Delorna junior."
Alpha Jefferson said and Delorna laughed.
"You got to be kidding." She laughed.
"I'm serious, I want to love her more than anything in this world, she will be the second you." Alpha Jefferson said.
"Okay, I want to give birth to a boy instead, so should name him Jake?"
Delorna asked and Alpha Jefferson stood up, his face looked sad.
"Are you okay?" Delorna asked and stood up too.
"Yeah I just hated the name, let's check out other names." Alpha Jefferson answered.
"Okay." Delorna beamed.

*** Emily's Room ***
Emily's belly looked bigger and with Delorna's care, she is getting better and they are very good friends now.
Delorna came to Emily's room holding two heavy bags.
"Hey what do you got for us today?" Emily asked.
"You know the doctor confirmed that you will give birth to a baby girl that's why I went and do all the shopping for her, take a look at it," Delorna answered with a smile and handed her the bags.
She removed all the clothes and checked them out and they looked great, beautiful and really expensive.
"Wow, this even has diamond beats on it, it's so expensive Delorna you don't have to do all of this," Emily said.
"My baby girl deserves all the best and I want her immediately to come into this world, she will be welcome with diamonds, it's Just a month for you remaining to give birth and I just can't wait," Delorna exclaimed.
"I don't know how to start thanking you for all the things you have done to me, that's why I want to name my baby girl after you, I'm just surprised how you don't hate me for the pregnancy," Emily said.
"Well, don't say this, I don't want anything that will upset the baby, and if you keep on talking she might get Angry and I don't want that, I want her to grow up healthy so she will be a big elder sister to my son, they will be like the best siblings ever right," Delorna replied.
Emily gave her a faint smile her guilt eating her up.
"Okay Emily, you should not forget to have your medicines and sleep too okay, don't stress yourself at all," Delorna added.
"Okay, and you too, hope our baby boy is Doing well," Emily said.
"He is just so stubborn and kicking all the time but he is fine, I'm sure," Delorna replied.
"That's great, please take care of yourself," Emily said.
"I sure will, you should do the same too."
Delorna replied and excused herself.
Emily burst into tears immediately after she left.

*** Alpha Jefferson Chamber ***
"How is she doing?" Alpha Jefferson asked as Delorna settled down.
"I think she is fine but the way she talks makes me think that she is somehow hiding something from me, I can feel sadness, guilt and regret anytime she talks even after telling her for the million times I have forgiven her," Delorna answered.
"Well it's just a month remaining and I can't wait for it to be over so she will leave this palace," Jefferson said.
"But why?" Delorna asked.
"I don't want her baby to grow up with my baby, I will give her a big house and once in a time I will go check on her, I'm only doing that for you because I still don't agree that the baby is mine I didn't even release inside her," Jefferson answered.
"I thought we had talked about that already, Emily will live with us I want her baby to be a sister to my baby boy."
Delorna replied.
