Chapter 8: STRANGE DREAM

Inside Jefferson's room. DeLorna was sleeping soundly inside the room. On her face was a smile that showed she was enjoying her sleep.

She occasionally turned around on the bed while squeezing the quilt on her body tightly.

Suddenly the smile on her face changed to a frown. The frown became deeper and deeper and deeper until it turned into a frightening expression.

Some minutes later DeLorna screamed as she sat on the bed while holding the quilt tightly.

Her heart pounded heavily that it could be heard and her breathing was irregular.

"What was that just now?" She muttered.

Though she wasn't able to have a clear glimpse of it. It scared the hell out of her.

Suddenly screams and yells from people outside the room DeLorna was brought back to her senses.

Immediately she jumped out of the bed.

Immediately her legs touched the ground, a smearing pain spread through her entire body, and she could not help but fall back to the floor.

DeLorna gritted her teeth as she managed to stand up with the pain cruising through her body. A splitting headache took over her senses of reasoning as she could think of nothing else but to make the pain go away.

She stood up as she staggered to the door of the room. The noise outside had increased by tenfold before she got to the door.

Immediately she got to the door she used all her remaining strength to swing it open.

Immediately she opened the door. She could feel the noise had gotten stronger. Because of the noise. The splitting headache became stronger and she had to cover her ears.

After some minutes she recovered as she staggered along the corridor.

The scene in the dark corridor made DeLorna gasp in horror.

Bodies were lying on the floor mutilated. Blood was everywhere. Heads, hands, and other parts of the body were scattered all around.

DeLorna could not imagine the scene she would meet once she got outside the corridor. The thought of this almost made her puke but she held on and managed to walk past the bodies.

Getting outside everywhere was on fire. People were running Helter skelter shouting and screaming for help.

Creatures of different sizes would sometimes appear and eat off some of the people's heads. No matter how they ran, some of the creatures would catch up to them and take off their heads.

For a moment DeLorna forgot about the pain in her body and the splitting headache as she watched the gruesome scene shriving in fear.

"Welcome to the world of terror." A voice sounded behind her.

Immediately she turned back but it was empty.

Immediately her heart started beating fast. Faster than it was beating the first time.

"Welcome to the world of terror." The voice sounded behind her again.

DeLorna didn't bother to look behind her this time as she shivered in fear. She wondered what the hell was that.

"Don't worry you'll die a painless death." The voice sounded again.

Immediately DeLorna heard that she cringed in fear and started sweating heavily. Who the hell was the figure whispering into her ear? Why? Why in the hell did the figure want her dead? She knew in her life she had never offended anyone.

"You must be wondering why I want you dead." the voice said again.

instinctively DeLorna nodded.

"You defiled my orders, little girl. you left home without my permission and now you'll pay for it.

"Mum!" DeLorna frowned.

She remembered she had defiled her mum's orders and had walked out from her when she was trying to tell her mother the truth but she didn't listen.

"Little girl seems like you made a correct guess." the figure replied and appeared in front of her.

immediately DeLorna saw this figure she gasped in shock.

in front of her was a tall figure with white hair. Her hair was scattered across her face covering her eyes. only a part of her eyes was visible. The part of the eye that was visible was red and was glowing brightly. In place of her fingers were claws and in place of her teeth are fangs sticking out of her mouth.

The aura she was emitting was corrosive.

This woman in front of her wasn't her mother but another creature.

immediately Delorna started walking back slowly.

The creature emitted a loud growl walking toward Delorna as she moved backwards.

DeLorna continued to move backwards, not noticing there was a walk behind her.

by now everywhere was quiet as all the people had been massacred.

"enough of this game." The creature growled and disappeared out of sight, appearing before Delorna and grabbing her neck, raising her like a weightless piece of paper.

DeLorna choked and struggled but to no avail. The figure was just too strong for Her. After a minute or two of struggling, DeLorna gave up struggling and looked into the eyes of the figure.

"Mum, I know you are still in there. Am very sorry for leaving you," DeLorna managed to say weakly.

Immediately the creature looked at DeLorna with an amused expression before giving off a loud cackle.

"Your mother is no longer a little girl. Have already taken over her body completely so she can't hear you your cries are just for nuts." The figure smirked and extended its claws toward DeLorna's heart.

"Don't you dare?" A voice thundered as a figure was seen rushing over.

Immediately the creature stopped what it was doing and looked over to the distance with a smirk on its lips.

"Just what I was waiting for." It smiled.

Soon a huge figure running with its four legs was seen running over.

Immediately the figure got to the creature's front and it stopped and stood on its hind legs.

DeLorna's eyes widened in shock immediately after she saw the creature. The creature was none other than Jefferson.

"You finally came at last." The creature growled and flung DeLorna to the side.

Immediately Jefferson sped and caught DeLorna before she could fall to the ground.

"Watch out!" DeLorna screamed as the figure attacked Jefferson who caught her.

immediately Jefferson in his lycanthrope form put down DeLorna and blocked the blow from the creature.

Soon the two engaged in a brawl as DeLorna looked on, her heart beating fast.
