"Do well to keep that in mind," Sandro smirked.

She watched as he moved to the door.

"Ciao," He turned and blew her a kiss before winking.

Arabella let out a relieved sigh as soon as he left.

She lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling.

Her neck still hurt from his firm grip on it and she wondered why he couldn't kill her at once.

At least, it would save her from the unwarranted punishment that was meted out to her.

It would save her a lot of anguish and she'd be able to join her father wherever he was.

Again, her mind drifted to Blaze. He was a mafia. He was part of his gang.

It was unbelievable. Thinking of it now made it look surreal. If she hadn't seen him here, she'd have assumed he was lying.

But now, she didn't know what to think. She didn't know how to feel!

The person she had been crushing on from her office window was a gangster. Goodness!

She sat up straight and stared at the door as it opened.

"Hey!" Janice rushed in. She creased her brows as she stepped to the bedside.

"I heard what happened and I was here earlier."

"Janice," Arabella mumbled. Of course, she'd know what happened. She mused whilst gazing at her.

She was certain before the day runs out, everyone in Sandro's gang would know what happened to her.

"Well, it's good to see news flying around already." Arabella rolled her eyes. "And if it is Sandro who sent you here, I'd have to tell you to leave. I don't need anything of his. I'd rather die…"

"Hush, girl." Janice chided as she held up a finger to her lip. "I wouldn't say that if I were you. Even as you are furious with him, there are ways you could let out your anger without receiving any punishment in return."

"Besides, it was Blaze who told me about it and I came rushing here when he said you were awake. He looked pissed."

"He sure does," Arabella muttered.

She recalled the battle of yelling they both had before Sandro's arrival.

She could have sworn she glimpsed anguish in his eyes. Perhaps, that was how he was.

"He said I should look after you."

"He does?"

"Of course." Janice said, "I told you he looked pissed. Did something happen? It's your second day here and have you met before?"

"Yes, we've met," Arabella mumbled.

"Really?" Janice raised her brows, "Please, spill. Did he say anything? Are you two going out or something?"

Arabella opened her mouth to speak but her stomach grumbled, interrupting her. She grimaced, patting it.

"I didn't eat much last night and it's past breakfast time." She mumbled, gazing at the wall clock.

"Don't worry, I'll arrange something for you. But, promise you'd tell me everything about Blaze? He's always grumpy and I never see him care this much. I thought he was a self-centred jerk until now."

Arabella tilted her brow as Janice's shoulders sagged. She wrapped a lock of her curly hair in her finger and twirled whilst staring at nothing in particular.

She bit her lower lip and gasped softly.

"So mysterious and broody. He's my type." Janice clasped her arms around her and shut her eyes.

Arabella rolled her eyes. She didn't blame her for acting lovestruck, Blaze was extremely good-looking. Heck, he looked even better than she had seen him the last time.

Any warm-blooded woman would swoon for him. He was that perfect.

But, not her. She wouldn't fall for a man like him. She might have had some interest of some sort earlier, but knowing what he was changed all the thoughts she had about him.

She doubted if there was anything he wasn't hiding. He seemed like someone keeping a lot of secrets.

He was Sandro's second in command, so she didn't expect much from him.

"How about you get me food and we can talk about it later? Right now, I feel as though I would die sooner if I don't eat anything."

"Of course," Janice said.

She grinned and stepped to the door. Then she glanced back at Arabella. "You can freshen up, I brought some clothes to change into, I don't know if they'll fit. They are my old clothes."

Arabella shrugged, "Anything would fit me."

"Okay," Janice said, rushing out of the room.

Arabella climbed down from the bed and stepped to the door, she did the lock and shut the curtains before walking back to the mirror which was beside her bed.

Stripping out of the hospital gown, she grimaced as she saw the angry marks that lined her back. She noticed two to three stitches and she swallowed down the lump forming in her throat.

"God, I hate him." Her eyes watered.

Sniffling, she blinked back the tears away.

Arabella rummaged through the bag and brought out a gown rather than the jeans which were next to it. She didn't think she could fit into anything other than a gown. She wondered how long the wound on her would heal and how long she'd stay in Sandro's confinement.

For now, she didn't see herself going out anytime soon and planning an escape was out of it as well.

She didn't know the location she was in and they'd easily catch up with her as they did before.

She was tired of running. She only hoped she'd see a saviour soon. At least, someone who'd come to her rescue.

As soon as she freshened up, it didn't take long when Janice arrived.

"Who is eating with us?"

"No one, just you."

"Me?" Arabella snorted. "I can barely finish that."

"Blaze filled all the plates and said…"

"Blaze?"

"Yes, he made me promise to make you eat everything," Janice mumbled with a sigh. "He's just so sweet."

"There's nothing sweet about that. That's an invasion of privacy and we barely know each other. He has no right to tell me what to do." Arabella rambled. She crossed her arms on her chest.

"Whether he has the right or not, he seemed to care about you and if I were you, I'd be excited about that."

"That's nothing to be excited about. I didn't ask him for his help."

"Well, he volunteered." Janice pointed out. "So, eat up. You need your strength."

She nudged the tray in front of her and smiled.

Arabella's mouth watered as the toasty and nutty aroma of the waffles wafted into her nostrils. Her stomach grumbled once more and she heaved a breath.

"I guess I need my strength after all." She mumbled, picking up a waffle.

"How does it taste?" Janice asked, her brows creased.

"This is so nice," Arabella mumbled, savouring the taste as the flavour burst into her mouth.

She wolfed down half of the bacon and nodded at everything Janice was saying before gazing at her.

"You are not listening." Janice pouted.

"This food is so good it's taking half of my concentration."

"All," Janice argued.

"I guess I know what will take all then," Sandro said.

Arabella winced as he stepped into the room. She gazed at the half-eaten waffle in her hand and dumped it on the tray.

Her ravenous appetite disappeared and left in its wake was the urge to barf what she had in her mouth before his arrival.

"Signore." Janice bowed slightly.

"Pack this," Sandro pointed to the food tray, his eyes not leaving Arabella's. "To the master suite."

"Yes, Signore." Janice nodded hastily. With shaky hands, she packed everything and scurried out of the room.

Arabella glared, she crossed her arms on her chest. "What do you want?"

"You, in between my thighs, darling." Sandro asserted, a smirk forming on his devilishly handsome face.

"W-what?" Arabella stuttered as he stepped to her side.

"I want you screaming out my name whilst I plunge deep into your wet fold. I want to fúck you, Tesoro Mio."
