An insignificant human
"You need to lay low," Blaze mumbled, staring at Sandro as he walked towards them.
"What for?" Thalia asked.
"She knows."
"Who? And about?"
"Janice knows our relationship." Blaze said.
"I don't care about that and..."
"Hey, darling." Sandro wrapped his hand around Thalia's waist pulling her into him.
She giggled, wrapping her arms around his neck. "You missed me?"
"You know I do," Sandro whispered and Thalia shivered at the feelings it incited in her.
His hot breath and the feel of his mouth on her centre were all that invaded her mind.
A few seconds ago, she had been in his room writhing on his vast bed as he pleasured her.
Thalia was aware she was acting as his whore and she doubted she could do anything about it or could do anything to change it.
Funnily she enjoyed being with him. Although she didn't know if he feel the same way or if he was just using her as he deemed fit.
Still, she didn't want to let go. She wanted more of him.
"Be in my bed naked tonight. And I'm taking you to the red room."
Thalia moaned. Her cheeks reddened as Blaze's eyes narrowed on her.
The thought of being in the red room turned her on.
Even though Blaze was shooting her a disapproving glance.
She didn't care.
She had never been to the room before and she knew it was where Sandro kept his whores. The women that give him the utmost pleasure and he had mentioned they acted as his submissive whilst in there.
Thalia wanted that. She wouldn't think twice to do what he says and she wondered about the naughty things they would do as several lists came up in her head.
"I'll be ready," she mumbled.
Sandro squeezed her backside before slapping it.
Thalia gasped out. She flushed as her eyes flickered to Blaze again.
Blaze shrugged, glancing away.
When Sandro walked away from them he shook his head in disapproval.
"I don't want to know about your affairs. Can you keep me out of it or better still, don't do anything nasty in front of me? Whenever he's near, you can take all the nastiness to his room."
Thalia rolled her eyes. "Don't act like you won't do the same if it was Arabella."
"Arabella will never cheapen herself that way." Blaze retorted, walking away before she could respond.
"Idiot," Thalia said, glaring at the spot he stood a while ago.
*********
"I hope you didn't come to berate me again?" Janice lifted her brows as Blaze stood in the doorway to her room.
"How's she?"
Janice stood to her feet, "Are you here to ask me about Arabella's health or you come to check on me?"
"How's Arabella?" Blaze repeated.
Janice rolled her eyes as he asked again. Sighing, she sat back on the chair. "Do you like her? What's with this possessiveness about her suddenly? Even Sandro, I do not think he enjoys punishing her. He's fúcking obsessed with her."
Blaze scowled. He didn't know why she was acting like Thalia suddenly. His sister preferred to be the centre of attention and she wants the world to revolve around her fúcking ass all the damn time.
Janice seemed to be acting the same way.
He was tired of Thalia and he was sure that if she wasn't related to him, he'd have punished her for what she did from the beginning to Arabella.
Yet, he doubted if he could. He had never hit a woman before and he didn't know what could ever make him want to.
Blaze turned to leave.
"Wait."
He turned and stared at Janice who had walked to the centre of the room.
"You didn't answer my question." She said. She gazed at the floor, then back at him.
She glimpsed the icy glare he was tossing her way and she wondered what for. Before Arabella arrived in the pack, Blaze was receptive and barely snapped at her.
But now, she doubted if she knew the person he was.
He was cold and snapped at everything.
"You didn't answer mine either."
"That's because I don't know if she's doing okay or not."
Blaze scowled. "What do you mean by you don't know? I kept her in your care."
"Maybe I chose not to." Janice glared back. "I can't keep watching all the time. I have things doing as well."
"That is the most important job given to you at the moment. You only needed to watch over her but you chose to be selfish and..."
"As if you are the one to talk." Janice snarled, interrupting him. Her eyes flashed and she stormed towards him.
"Enough about the brat. What has gotten into the two of you? I think y'all need to break out of the spell she placed in you. We have fúcking threats, fúcking battles staring at us and ready to consume us. Yet, all the Alpha and Beta can think about is a mere human."
"A fúcking insignificant human!"
"Enough!" He growled, gripping her hand.
"Let me go!" Janice shouted as his grip tightened.
"Not until you take back all the nonsense you just spewed out of your mouth. Everyone is special..."
"Not Arabella." Said Janice. "She's a nobody."
Blaze shoved her into the wall. Rage simmered inside of him and he narrowed his eyes.
He swooshed towards her and grasped her from where she sat on the floor, he pushed his elbow into her neck and growled.
"See what I said? She's making you go mad for no reason!"
"Fúck you."
"That sounds exciting." Janice grimaced and tried to breathe through her mouth as he pushed his hand on her neck more.
But the movement she made with her mouth made it look as if she was a fish dying from being brought out of the water.
"I've been waiting for you to fúck me..." She licked her lips and bit on the lower one gently. "I don't think it is too much to ask seeing as I am hot if you don't mind the drab outfit I wear most of..."
Blaze have had enough of her words. He didn't want to hear any more of the nonsense she was spouting out of her mouth.
The urge to slam her into the coffee table whilst releasing all his pent-up frustration filled him.
But he shoved the unwanted thoughts aside and concentrated on staring at her face.
"You don't believe me?" Janice asked. "I willingly strip in front of you all the time even though you refuse to stare at me while at it."
"I want to hear no more." He rasped, releasing his grip on her.
Janice fell to the ground, clutching her neck. She wheezed, and her eyes flickered his.
"Why are you..."
"No more words about her," Blaze warned. His beautiful toffee eyes flashed golden with each glare.
Janice contemplated going against his word to offend him more or stopping. She settled on the latter.
Heaving out a breath, she stood to her feet. Her mouth opened to talk but Thalia interrupted her.
"Hey, brother." She flashed a smile towards Janice, ignoring that she was in the room and the secret she and Blaze were trying to keep.
Not only that, but she ignored the scowled on his face and shrugged as he stood to his feet.
"And the slút who'd never cease to stop hunting him down."
"Bítch," Janice said and stared Thalia in the eyes as she moved into the room.
