"I'll never do that!" Arabella screeched.

Even though a gun was pointing at her, showing her body in front of him was the last thing in her mind.

"I refuse to do whatever you say!"

Sandro chuckled. He stood from where he sat and stepped towards her.

He stood in front of her for a few seconds before swiftly shoving her to the nearest wall.

"What did you say?" He growled, clutching her neck.

"I-I'll never do that…"

Arabella didn't get the chance to finish her words. She gasped as his hand smacked her hard on her face.

She bit her tongue due to the force and wince at the metallic taste of blood in her mouth. Her eyes watered and she gazed up at him.

His face was stoic and he sneered, "You'll fúcking do as I say all the time. No matter what my orders are. You are not to disobey me and freaking watch your mouth when you speak to me next time. Is that understood?"

Arabella nodded and trembled.

"Good." Sandro gritted.

He tugged her by her long hair and dragged her to the centre of the room once more. He shoved her roughly and she fell to the floor.

"Now, my patient is running thin. Do what I asked of you or if I did that myself, you wouldn't appreciate it."

Arabella stared at her nails for a while before standing to her feet. She sniffled, blinking back the tears in her eyes and began to undo the zipper of the dress.

She wondered why she had bothered being disobedient.

Sandro wouldn't condone that, Janice had warned her. He wouldn't take disobedience from anyone, not even her, the daughter of his foe.

Arabella dragged in a breath and bit her bottom lip as she let the dress fall to her feet.

Sandro grinned. His eyes twinkled as they roamed her beautifully sculpted body. He never had a doubt she had such a lovely figure. Also, when he saw the dress the first time, he definitely saw her in it.

He hadn't imagined anyone else's in it.

"Now, take off all the last bit of clothes, I want to see all."

Arabella hesitated, she gazed down at her feet as her hand went to undo the hook of the red lacy bra she donned, then slipped out of her panty.

She stood in front of Sandro stark naked and unsure of what to do.

She flushed and covered her breasts with her hand as his eyes roamed over her.

"You are well created, Tesoro," Sandro mumbled.

His hand itched to caress her smooth skin and damn, the twin globes on her chest begged for his attention. They were portable and he was certain they would fit his hands perfectly when he cupped them.

His díćk stiffened in his pants and he stood from the bed.

"Lie on your stomach." He grunted, pointing to the bed.

Arabella breathed in and walked to the bed slowly, before letting out the breath. She lay on the cool duvet and held her hands by her side.

She attempted to see what he was up to but decided against it as it could get her into more trouble.

Sandro walked to the right corner of the room, he grabbed a horsewhip he hung there.

His eyes stayed on her perfectly sculpted backside as he neared the bed. The backside that would soon receive the punishment he was about to mete out to her.

He cracked the horsewhip and tilted it in the air.

Arabella let out a wail as the first stroke landed on her back, giving her a deep cut.

She stood abruptly and trembled whilst attempting to dart to the door.

Sandro yanked her back and shoved her to the bed. "I'm not done with you yet, Cara mia,"

His sea-green eyes blazed. Even in the low lighting in the room, Arabella loathed how he looked even more dangerous.

"Let go of me, bastárd!" She nudged his chest as he came down on top of her.

Sandro gripped both her hands and spread them apart.

Her eyes rounded as he cuffed them to one of the posts of the bed.

"I think you'd beg me sooner." He chuckled, turned her over and patted the back of her thigh, before his hand went to her backside, stroking it.

Despite the sting she felt earlier, Arabella's core dampened.

It was disgusting she was enjoying what he was doing to her. But, she doubted she could control her feelings.

She gasped as the whip came down on her back again. She shut her eyes and let in a deep breath. She believed she could take the pain in.

Heck, her intention was not to look frightened in front of him.

Try as she may appear stronger than she was, she failed miserably. Tears clouded her vision as the whip landed on her now flaming backside more.

"Blood..."

Arabella heard him grunt. Despite her reeling head, she could understand everything he was saying.

Yet, he didn't stop the assault.

"I want to hear your scream, I want you to beg me for mercy." His grip tightened on her hair.

Arabella could only let out a soft gasp. She doubted if he heard her.

Perhaps, she could have screamed and begged him to stop if she had the strength. At the moment, she could only wait for the moment he'd stop.

Her eyes rolled into her head after a few seconds into the never-ending assault and she succumbed to the blackness that enveloped her.

Sandro boiled with rage as he glimpsed the almost lifeless body of Arabella.

Humans. They were weak and he loathed them.

He stared at her bloody backside and tossed the whip aside.

Gripping her wrist, he searched for her pulse, then he heaved a breath. She was alive.

He didn't want her dead, not yet. He hadn't done what he wanted with her and he had promised her a slow painful death as well.

Still, he couldn't help the weird feelings that tugged at his heart when she screamed.

It was as if he almost pitied her and wanted to let her be as she requested.

"No," He mumbled, shaking his head. "She's an enemy and needs to be killed."

His eyes narrowed as he stared at the doorway. He noticed Blaze, his loyal bodyguard and second in command standing there.

"Blaze."

"Boss," Blaze mumbled as he stepped into the room. He wrinkled his nose and shut his eyes as he glimpsed the bare backside of Arabella.

Sandro glared at him and tossed a duvet to cover her body.

Blaze shrugged, before shaking his head. "What do I need to do?"

"You know what to do," Sandro said.

He took a last glance at Arabella before striding out of the room.

As soon as the door closed, Blaze turned to Arabella.

"What have you gotten yourself into?" He mumbled as he released her hands from the cuffs.

He wrapped her delicate body with the bed sheets, carried her in a bridal style and left the room.

Setting her on the gurney in the large infirmary which was a five-minute walk from the main building, Blaze strode out of the room towards another room.

"Doc, your help is needed."

The doctor, Francis, nodded. He stood from where he sat and followed Blaze.

He gasped as soon as he opened the door, "Who the hell is that? She looks like she's been through hell and back."

"She literally has been through it," Blaze muttered. He shoved his hand through the pocket of the cargo pants he donned and ran a hand through his hair.

He was aware Arabella and Sandro had a history. It was the reason the latter had been searching for her.

Also, he knew the moment Sandro found her, it wouldn't be a happy reunion. However, he didn't think it would be as awful as this.

The scream from her had pulled at his heartstrings.

After he heard from Janice she was to meet Sandro earlier, he had gone to stand by the door because he always cleaned up the mess Sandro makes afterwards as his bodyguard.

In the gang, he was the only one Sandro trusted not to run his mouth about anything that happened in his room.

But, they weren't always as messy as this.

He had been tempted to stride into the room and yank the horsewhip from his hand but going against him was the last thing he wanted.

Blaze's eyes narrowed as he stared at her pale face which was scrunched up.

He pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and a lighter.

"No smoking here." Francis scowled.

"I forgot," Blaze mumbled. He placed the cigarette back in the box and heaved a breath.

"What happened to her and she seems new." Francis placed his hand on her neck to feel her pulse and her wrist.

"Sandro happened."

"Sandro?" Francis creased his brows.

"He fúcking hit her with a horsewhip," Blaze clenched his hands into fists. Rage permeated into him once more.

He didn't know the reason he was mad at Sandro. It wasn't the first time something like this would happen but never to a woman. And until now, he had never thought he'd hit a woman.

"Holy shít, why would he do that? She's a lady for goodness sake." Francis replied, grabbing a ball of cotton wool to tend to her visible injuries.

"Tell that to him," Blaze grunted.

"She'll be fine though. She seems strong." Francis said.

"Let me know as soon as she wakes."

"Of course," Francis nodded and went about his business.

"Alessandro De Luca." Blaze gritted his teeth. He lit the cigarette with him and took two puffs.

His eyes narrowed and he kicked at a pebble before shutting his eyes. His mind drifted to Arabella again.

He only hoped she would wake up sooner or else, he might be tempted to confront Sandro and pummel his stupid face.
