Chapter twenty-four ( Meeting my Derry)

Mira's Pov:

Standing in front of my dressing mirror, tears kept flowing down my cheeks. After the night we were to consummate our marriage after Nicholas humiliated me and caused me everlasting pain. After bathing, I wrapped a towel around my body as I stepped out of the bathroom.

After staring at me he smiled wickedly as he muttered "You don't even look appealing to me, you look odd and ugly," his words crushed my heart as I watched him painfully have his way with me. I shook my head as I used the back of my hand and wiped out the tears flowing down my face. This is not what I was supposed to be thinking now, I just need a way to escape this trauma which I know isn't going to be easy but I need to do anything to detach myself from all this stuff. I have to do anything to avoid my mate and all of his family members, I just need to escape and run far away to another place where I couldn't be found.

I just need my peace of mind before I die before my time, I am too minor to be going through this pain. Even if it means running to the human world to keep my sanity then I have to do it. Even Virginia I don't trust anybody or any single soul. I just need my sanity and peace of mind, no one knew what I was passing through, and nobody knew my pains and cries of agony every day. They all view me as a strong being without knowing that I am a human, that I feel pain too. They all want to use me and get what they want without caring about my feelings and emotions, my parents used me to bring honor to their pack when Alpha Den thought that I can tame his son down like I am fit for his son and luna and Virginia wanted me to be her baby-making machine though I love her I am tired of people controlling my life.

Nicholas views me as a weak and ugly creature like I meant nothing, that my existence doesn't matter in this life. I am just tired of every single thing. My heart bleeds as I recall his hurtful words towards me.

It has been two weeks after the whole incident, after days of locking myself inside my room and crying my eyes out I decided to go out. Though Angel has been my pillar, my pillar of strength during this whole period of staying in the door and dwelling in pain. She brings my food to my room and lies to Virginia that I am ok, and just wanted to eat upstairs. She was the only one that knew that I wasn't happy in this marriage though she didn't know that Nicholas was my mate, she shows me care and love.

I have decided to go out today. I need to reject Nicholas because he is of no use to me. I need to find my way out of this pack, I know it isn't going to be easy because this pack is heavily guarded. So my chances of escaping are 1%, the one percent I wasn't even sure of. I need to reject Nicholas to stop feeling pain whenever he fucks another and I need to detach myself from his whole family members, I continued my walk down the hallway as an intoxicating smell hits my nose. "Whoever is cooking that food is a great chef," I mumbled.

"Moron, that is not food but it is coming from someone…. Is someone's scent," Heaven dreamily uttered?

"Yeah….. Whatever," I annoyingly mumbled.

The husky smell was getting stronger as I stopped at my track and stared at the huge guy facing his back at me, the delicious smell was coming from him. He looks like Nicholas just that his jet black hair is too long while that of Nicholas is short and stops at his neckline. He was on a call with his hands on his pants.

"What are we doing here…." I annoyingly said to Heaven.

"He is Nicholas…. How could you take us to our doom," I sneered at my wolf?

"Dummy… this is not Nicholas, something……she didn't get to finish as the guy stiffened.

" He is turning!!……" I and Heaven said in unison with a terrifying look. He turned as our eyes connected, he looked surprised before smelling at me with his mega white teeth showing. I stared in utter disbelief as his gray eyes stared back at me before we both uttered the word "Mate!!!…."
