Chapter sixty-one( Good-bye Mira

Angel's pov:

"Why did you keep me waiting….??" Hearing the voice as we entered the room my body vibrates in terror, my body felt like it has been poured ice-cold water but come to look at it I wasn't the only person that the voice affects. Susan is shivering like jelly, we all looked tense, and the atmosphere is freaking us out.

"Miss…. I mean…eh…she is here," Susan shortly said in one go with her head forcefully cast down.

"What took you long….?" Despite the calmness, the word sounds dangerous.

"We…. I…..mean….. Ple…. I…. Stammering Susan's face looked pale as the word refused to come out, she didn't know what to say which surprised me because the Susan that I know always has what to say in any situation but right now her sudden behavior terrifies me. If she was behaving like this when working under her what would I then do? Me that she hated and despised for no specific reason.

" ENOUGH!!......" with her back still facing us she roared in anger and frustration.

"I have had enough of your silly excuses now, get out!!" She commands.

"Yes, ma…. Thank you," Susan quickly lugged for the room without turning to look back as she left with speed.

Standing all alone with this demon, my heart kept throbbing. I fear that it could fall off, slowly turning around her light silver eyes dangerously pierced into my soul, it felt like she was breaking every single fiber within me. I looked pale, it felt like my blood was being sucked out of my body the more her eyes pierced deeper into my soul. She looked so terrifying that I couldn't dare stare at her face and talk more about looking into her eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She drawled.

"Tell you what…?" I asked in total confusion.

"Why didn't you tell me anything…?" She calmly said but more dangerously it rolled out of her lips.

"Please….. I don't….what you are talking about," I desperately begged.

"Why didn't you tell me!!" She lashed out at me.

"Ahh!!..." I screamed in terror, how am I to answer what I don't know about? She looked scarily and I hate myself for not telling her despite not knowing what she was saying.

"You know I could tell you if I have any idea what….. What…. You were saying," my lips twirled as I tried talking to her.

Standing a few meters away from me with a drawn eyebrow she asked "Who is Annabel…" I staggered at her word.

"Annabel…..

" Annabel….. I kept murmuring the name, who is Annabel? I asked myself. The name sounds familiar but I couldn't quite place my finger on where I have heard it before.

"Don't waste my time….." She snarled.

"I… I…. I have……no…..the idea," I couldn't finish before I felt a stinging slap across my cheeks.

"Ahh!!…." I cried out in pain with my palms on my face as I rub the spot which has turned dark red leaving a bruise on it.

"I don't like repeating myself but I will go again…. Who is Annabel?" Her predatory eyes scan my face?

"Please I don't know who Annabel is," I replied, with tears stinging in my eyes.

"Interesting to see sister supporting sister," she devilishly muttered.

"What does she mean by sister supporting sister? Who is Annabel?" My eyes narrowed in confusion as I asked myself?

"Do you have any slightest idea what I will do to you if you don't open up?" With venom, she speaks.

My body trembled in fear, as what she would do to me flickered in my head. She is capable of doing anything evil "No… No….," I whispered.

"Why didn't you tell me you have a sister from another pack?" With a deadly glare, she asked as her eyebrow furrowed up in anger.

"Sister…… You and everyone knew that I was an orphan, my parents were the only child and they both came from this exact pack," I cried out.

"That's what you make them believe, not me," holding me by the collar she pulled me up and tightened her grip around the collar. I bite hard on my trembling lips not to cry as the pain of her grip on my collar pierced into my neck, I felt weak and suffocating.

"You have a sister right?"

"No!..." I muttered.

"SHUT UP!!" She gave me another stinging slap as her nails bruised my cheeks.

"Please, I am telling the truth…" I whimpered as blood tickled from the spot.

"Fine since you are ready to die rather than to tell the truth," she sneered devilishly.

"Please, trust me…" trying to hold her by the leg, she squatted my hands away "Don't you dare touch me with those filthy hands of yours….." She said with disgust.

"I can kill you and make your body rotten in hell without anybody knowing about your whereabouts, not even your so-called sister," she said, the last part deadly as I shook in dismay and fear. My heart bleeds as the image of me leaving this world flashes in my head. I could have listened to Mira not come here in the first place, this is a terrible idea.

I thought that I was doing the right thing when I was quietly moving to my doom, the world ceased in my sight as she dropped the bomb.

"Annabel, your so-called sister that came to visit you, was mated to one of our future Alphas Derrick…." Smiling sinfully she kept pacing around the room.

And that's when it dawned on me, Mira, gosh how did she find out about her. This is not good, it could be a very horrible thing if Nengi, first of all, finds out the truth. She will come for Mira and once she does I don't know if Mira could survive it, I feel for her though I couldn't do anything if denying the fact that I don't know who Annabel is was the only thing I could do for her then I am more than ready to do that.

"I still don't know what you are talking about…." I denied.

"Really…..? Do I look like a fool to you?" She spits as my body was forcefully shoved from the ground and erred towards the wall. My head painfully bangs on the wall as I screamed in horror, pulling me by my collar as my body kept hitting the cold tiles and slamming at the chairs and other stuff in the room. Pushing me to the sofa my face shortly smashed on the hard surface, bruises covered my whole face as blood kept zooming out of the wounds as my tears got missed with the blood once they flowed down. It was a horrible sight to behold, I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt something clasped around my neck.

"No….. Ahh!..... Please….ple…… eagerly holding the chain to avoid her choking me with it I kept pleading with force and desperation. The more I struggled to free myself the harder she clasped it, my eyes popping out as my veins popped out of my forehead. I was choking to death when hitting hard on the sofa for her to save me.

" You say who the person is and I will leave you," with a murderous tone she uttered.

"Please……. I battled not to open up as her grip tightened more, I don't know if I could survive this. I am slowly draining out of breath as everywhere looks blurry to me, tears were flowing freely down my face as her evil laugh kept echoing the whole place. I am sorry Mira if I could fail you this time, I can't just die like this. That was going to make my parents disappointed in me, or could they be proud if I played the heroine and saved Mira? I was confused about not knowing what to do, I fear dying but at the same time, I don't want to implicate my best friend Mira. But in this kind of situation, I have to choose either to die or to tell the truth.

"Good luck, Angel…." She snarled.

"Bye, Mira, this is the only thing that I have to do for you. Please be strong for me, for us all that laid our lives for you…… I love you and promise in the next life I will be honored to be your sister again," this was my last word before I allowed darkness to prevail and take control.
