Chapter seventy-four(She seems off)

Mira's pov:

I don't believe that I could be pregnant, I can't still wrap it around my head that I am carrying one of the twin brother's pups and that scares me because I already know the father of the child. Having this child is never my plan, I can't have a child now not with all this trauma. My heart breaks every minute knowing that I have their pup in my belly, I don't want this child to tie me down. It hurt when I got the news that I was pregnant. I so much wanted to terminate the pregnancy but it was risky for my life. I wanted to cut any tie that I have with this family but having their child isn't a good idea at all because that child still binds us together.

I stay in the door every day doing nothing, just thinking about my way forward on how I am going to raise the baby without any of them having any idea. I can't raise the child in this unconducive environment, I have a lot of threats around me. A lot of people don't like me so they can get to me through my child, after accepting the child I felt like a new hope watched into me. I wanted to do the same for him or her since I still don't know the gender. I needed to be strong for the sake of the baby, I won't allow the news of me being pregnant to slip out.

I pleaded for Maramark to keep it a secret, knowing my situation he decided to help me out. But I know that the truth can't be hidden forever, they will still find just like me being mated to them was exposed. To avoid them finding out then I have to leave this pack for real, I know that I was waiting for Angel to wake up so that we can leave together but for the sake of my baby I need to leave and will never return. I want to raise this child in a facilitative environment, I want to give the child the best even if it means escaping into the human world then I have to do it. I won't allow them to eliminate my pup with their evilness and devilish acts.

I have no time to waste. I will leave tonight, and run as far as my leg can carry me. I can't wait till I reject them, since none of them wanted rejection and besides lingering around here won't be any good since the marriage and coronation is in the next full weeks from now.

"I will support you this time around, no matter what…… You have suffered much and I can't keep drawing back knowing fully well that this is hectic for you and the baby," Heaven mumbled.

Her response took me by surprise, she has supported me in everything but when it comes to mates, her stubbornness is not for her. She is always crazy about mates, and for her to say this makes me damn happy "Thanks….." I muttered.

"It means a lot to me and the baby," I confessed.

"Is my pleasure, I am bound to do that because your happiness is also my happiness…" She says.

"You sure about us leaving our mates behind, I know that you are doing this for me but I don't want to be like I am forcing you into something that you didn't want," I asked with curiosity, I know that Heaven loves the word mate and finding hers and leaving it behind I don't think that she is ready for that.

"We are the same Mira, your happiness is also mine, we feel the same emotions though we sometimes don't accept the same thing doesn't make us different rather it makes us unique and binds us together……..

" Your happiness matters and besides with the baby in the picture, you don't expect things to be the same……. We need to raise him without their knowledge and if the news of you being pregnant got viral, a lot of people will strike you down and kill the baby and equally you if care is not taken," She openly professed.

"How did you know that the pup is a boy?" I bewilderingly asked.

"Haha……" she laughs before focusing back on me, "I can feel the baby, his heartbeat and gender…." She muttered.

"You know the father of the child?" I sound defeated.

"It doesn't matter as long as he has no idea and this is the reason that we need to escape this place," she muttered.

"Thanks, you gave me a new hope that I wasn't alone in this," I strongly smile knowing that I have my wolf on this one.

"We will be leaving this evening," I declared.

"Through which place…..?" She asked.

Struggling my shoulders, I muttered, "Through Nengi's room….."

"What!!....." She exclaimed, "That is risky and you know that….."

"I know but we have to be brave enough to be able to do this for the sake of this child here," rubbing my stomach I whispered to her.

Nodding her head, she muttered, "I am glad that you didn't terminate the baby….." She let out a delightful smile.

"Same here, I am happy that I still have the baby. I can't believe that I will be happy," making a funny face and laughing out loud.

"WE WILL BE HAVING A BABY!!" Heaven screamed with joy and in utter disbelief.

"I need to pack….." I said when strolling towards my wardrobe.

"Yes, baby we need to pack our stuff but small clothes and other essential stuff will do for now," she reasoned, causing me to nod my head in approval. Shoving my clothes inside a bag, the door was pulled open causing me to jerk up in fear.

"What the heck!..." I scaringly voiced.

"Sorry, I didn't know that I would scare you," Jessy muttered apologetically, glancing around my room, her eyes dropped to the bag on top of my bed.

"Looks like you are going somewhere?" She asked.

"When are you?" I ignored her question, I don't know but something feels off about her. I have never liked her from the beginning.

"Maybe it is because I have grown fond of Angel," I murmured within me.

"I doubt….." Heaven muttered.

"Something doesn't feel right about her," She expressed.
