"Ah, about that. I will suggest that you confess your feelings to her tonight when you get the time."
"I... how... what if she will get mad and... break up with me? And.. what if.." Wylder panicked, thinking about those possibilities.
"Wylder, you’re an amazing person, and any girl would be lucky to have you. If my daughter can’t understand your value, then it’s her loss. Just because she is my daughter doesn’t mean I won’t think about your happiness. I really wish for you to have someone who will love you unconditionally, and it doesn’t matter to me if that woman is not my daughter."
"Aunt…"
"I meant it, Wylder. Just because you’re the best for her doesn’t mean she's also good for you. Share your feelings with her and see how she responds. And ever in your life, if you decide to leave her, then I promise to support you over her."
Wylder smiled and shook his head. "You’re the best mother-in-law, do you know that?" He asked with a smile.
"And there I thought I had five sons," Sophia said in a sarcastic tone, including Artemis, Theodore, and him, along with Calvin and Colton.
"Did I ever tell you that you were my crush when I was a kid?" Wylder said Sophia hit his arms. "I’m serious, Aunt. You’re such a beautiful soul that anyone can fall in love with you. Moreover, age is just a number in love."
Sophia laughed at his words and looked at Brandon, who was watching them with a frown on his face, which silently told her that he was jealous. Even though he couldn’t hear their conversation, he hated the fact that someone else was the reason behind his wife’s laughter. She smiled at him and gave him a flying kiss.
She knew her husband was rotting like a vegetable because he couldn’t hear their conversation.
‘I love you.' She mouthed, and a smile appeared on his face. He walked back to the kitchen. She knew he was going to reply to her, ‘I love you, at night.
She blushed at that thought, and she turned a deep red when Wylder caught her.

"Dinner is ready." Tiara chirped, walking out of the kitchen and holding the plates, bowls, glasses, and spoons carefully so that she wouldn’t end up breaking them. She could walk easily in her pencil heels without any tension holding things, but at the same time, if someone asked her to carry food or water in her hand, she started to get the feeling that she would fall anytime. "Oh no!!" She saw one of the glasses fall to the ground.
But before it would have hit the ground, Wylder caught it.
"Thank god, Wild." She said this, releasing a deep breath. Wylder took everything from her hand carefully to arrange on the table. "You’re my savior. Do you know that?" She asked, to which Wylder just smiled.
"I have a surprise for you." She spoke next, as she couldn’t hold back her excitement.
"You haven't apologized to me, Ara." Wylder reminded her: She was going to do that, right? That was what she had said in front of Sophia in the afternoon.
"I know. That’s why I have done something for you to say that I’m sorry for my childish behavior." Tiara spoke with a smile. "Before you start thinking that I have done something for you by using money, trust me, I didn’t do anything like that." She explained herself. She used to give him a treat, buy him something, or plan something for him in order to apologize before, but this time she did something different, something for which she took a lot of effort and time.
"Painted the painting that I asked you about in the morning?" Wylder asked, to which she shook her head.
"Then?"
"Actually I…"
"She cooked for you," Brandon said, taking food towards the dining table, shocking Wylder.
"She did?" Sophia asked in shock.
"She did," Brandon confirmed.
"I did," Tiara said proudly. Brandon pressed his lips tightly, trying not to complain that she never cooked anything for her parents or her siblings and spent hours cooking for Wylder. "I cooked your and Night's favorite, Pad Thai while watching videos over the internet."
Wylder was still in shock, but he quickly grabbed her hand and checked her fingers or both sides of her hands to make sure that she didn’t end up burning or cutting her hands.
"Don’t worry, I’m fine. Dad did the chopping part and made sure that I wouldn’t get burned." Tiara assured him, knowing why he was so worried. "Thank you, Dad."
"But I did the whole cooking process," Tiara repeated again so that he would believe her because Wylder wasn’t showing any emotions. Well, how could he?
The girl in front of him didn’t know the difference between any spices or types of flour.
"Don’t give me this suspicious look. I swear I cooked on my own. I have been watching you cook for more than a year now. What do you think I used to do by sitting on the counter all these times except stare at you? Don’t you trust me?" She asked desperately.
