Only a very small number of people knew that Calvin was ambiphilic in the beginning until he finally decided to choose his interest over women over men.
"You can’t blame me, can you? I have never seen you with any woman or any girl. I have always seen you with men. Neither did you talk about any females. But then you told me that you used to like me once, and that was when I realized that there might be a chance that you’re ambiphilic (or bisexual)." Tiara pointed it out.
Wylder didn’t know how to react to her words. Should he get offended or laugh? First her brother, then gay?
"I can’t believe you." He chuckled. "I mean, there's no offense in getting attracted toward people of the same sex." He said, shaking his head. "But I’m heterosexual, and I’m sure about that. Hell, I never took interest in men. I'm more into pussy than dicks." With that, he laughed, and Tiara joined him in laughing at her stupidity.
"So, you are only interested in females?"
‘No. I’m only interested in you.
"Yes! And I’m positive about that part."
"Does that also mean that your fate was female?"
"Yes!!"
"You never talked about her?" "Why is that?"
"To know that you have to become mine, Ara." He said it in a teasing tone, showing that he was joking but knowing that he wasn’t. The reason he couldn’t tell her about his past was that if he did, he would have to tell her his real feelings about her.
"Fine! Don’t tell me." She grumbled. "But didn’t you try to date someone after rejecting her?"
"No."
"Not for even casual things?" I mean, sex? Every werewolf needs that."
"Not everyone, Ara! If you can control your desire in the beginning, then it’s a piece of cake." He spoke calmly.
"Have… have you ever…" She didn’t know how to finish that question. She didn’t want to offend him.
"No. I’m a virgin." Tiara looked at him in awe. He gave her the feeling of her father. He was a virgin, and her mother was the first woman he ever tasted.
"Wow!! I pray to the Moon Goddess that she will bless you with a second chance mate for whom you’re saving your virginity." Tiara said.
"I don’t want a second chance mate," Wylder said quickly, shaking his head. "Not after what happened the first time. It’s not that I want to stay a virgin, Ara, like your elder brother Colton, but at the same time, I just can’t sleep with a random girl just like that Calvin."
"Oh! Does that mean you want sex?" Tiara teased him.
"As if you don’t." Wylder pointed out, munching his noddles, and looked at the little amount of clothing on her skin. She was wearing a maroon-colored sexy nightgown that reached her thighs. Tiara was someone who had a habit of dressing up, even for herself.
Tiara observed how he was looking at her. It was the first time she had observed hunger or lust in his eyes for her. Or perhaps it was the first time he was doing it, and he didn't care if he was caught.
"I’m not sure this is a good idea, Wild, even though we both want the same thing," Tiara said, taking a deep breath. "It will ruin our friendship if feelings get involved, and I’m looking for anything but any sort of feelings. And you’re a keeper, Wild, not this type of guy."
"I’m already losing people who were close to me. I don’t want to add your name to that list."
"And you will never lose me, Ara. Don’t you think that it should be me who decides all this?" Wylder asked. Tiara stayed silent while he ate his food. He took time to discuss it with Night. They knew that this wasn’t what they wanted, but at the same time, neither of them wanted to lose whatever they were getting.
The worst situation would be when Tiara would choose someone as her distraction, which they couldn’t let happen. He was well aware of making a fake ID on the dating app because she had told Michelle about it, and she updated the same thing for him.
‘This is risky, human. As much as this looks like a great offer, it will tear our hearts apart because I can’t imagine the pain that will come with this offer wrapped in the golden box when she doesn’t fall in love with us at the end.’
‘I want to take risks. You always told me to make some moves. So, tonight, I’m doing this.’
‘I did. But I don’t want you to get hurt in this process as well. I want to claim her as mine! Mine.’
Wylder thought about it after talking with Night. And he knew that all this would ruin their friendship, but he wanted to lie about it.
