So, it wasn’t easy to play with Selene’s pups’ minds and emotions.
Tiara clearly remembered how Night warned her to stay away from them. It was clear that he had sensed something odd, but that was a different thing, and he wouldn’t find out exactly what because they had planned everything perfectly.
Arya was taken aback upon hearing this reply from Tiara.
‘Didn’t she tell them before that she would do everything to get Wylder back?' She wondered. She had watched Tiara grow, and she knew that she loved her life a lot, but she always put her loved one before herself.
'Because when Liara loves, she loves a lot.'
And if she was claiming to love Wylder, then she shouldn’t have said that.
"I mean, Aunt Arya! I’m an actress. I can’t risk any injury to my face." Tiara explained.
"Yeah! That’s right." Arya said, nodding her head in disappointment, and walked out of Wylder’s room.
Eden and Arya didn’t inform Wylder that Sophia and Brandon talked about Tiara and Wylder’s wedding, and looking at Sophia’s condition, Arya ended up saying yes without talking with Wylder. Arya’s instinct had started telling her that she had made a mistake.
Arya followed Wylder’s scent and thought to try to calm him down on her own, but her legs halted when she saw the scene in front of her.
Night was holding the breeder, who was the talk of the pack, in his arms and licking her face. She was running her finger through Night’s fur and giggling at the same time.
"Can you please stop? I’m hungry." She spoke softly. "And also return control to your human, because he, too, hasn't had dinner because of work."
Arya waited to see how Night responded, and she was surprised to see that Night actually listened to her. Arya didn’t stay there and returned to her bedroom.
"You were right." She muttered, looking at Eden, who was applying body lotion to her legs after a shower. "I shouldn’t have taken the decision on behalf of Wylder."
"Glad you realized."
"What should I do? Should I call Sofi and tell her that this wedding can’t happen?"
"No." Eden shook her head. "Let Wylder decide that on his own. We will break this news to him tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, at the right time. Arya, let me make it very clear that I won’t sacrifice our son’s happiness just because Sofi is sick. Sofi has always treated Wylder as her son, so I’m positive that she will understand."

On the other side, Sophia Haysbert was lying on the hospital bed, thinking about how she had landed there.
"You’re not my daughter." She pointed it out, and then the next thing she knew, the woman who looked like her daughter tried to kill her. If not for Brandon’s sense that she was in trouble, she would have been dead by now.
She wanted to scream and tell everyone the truth, but at this moment, she didn’t have another choice but to act like Tiara’s puppet because the lives of both her husband and her Tiara were at risk.
