3823 Against Sky Sovereign

CLANNNNG!

Another attack, hit my sword hard, sending me flying back hard, crushing through the numerous trees.

The attack was powerful, and it injured me.

My clone immediately increased the power of the healing formation, and more solutions poured into my body and turned into energy, mixing with my own healing energy, to heal the injuries.

I don't usually use the healing formation this quickly; the injuries are serious, but not serious enough.

I usually let my body's healing power to deal with it, but here I am alone against this bastard. The one, I am counting on for the support had tried to escape, but got himself caged.

I need to be at my best against the Werewolf. That means stopping from letting my injuries get worse.

My injuries had started healing, when the Werewolf appeared in front of me and swung those black claws at me again.

CLANNNNG!

I defended, but like always, I had sent back. Though, this time, I activated a couple of formations and swerved the momentum to change the direction faintly.

There is a person who appears not far away. If I kept moving in that direction, I would reach them, and the Werewolf wouldn't hesitate to them. Since all, it would require a single move to finish the Sky Sovereigns off.

"You will not be able to save them forever. Once I finished with you and that bastard in the cage, I will kill them all," it said, understanding what I did.

"Hahahahah,"

"You can not kill me," I said and for a moment, the expression on its face, froze before it started to laugh.

"Your confidence is laughable native; it will be fun to crush it," it said, and the powerful aura blasted off its body.

It might have laughed at my words, but those words have made it angry. It had expected me to quiver and run, but I showed the defiance.

It is one of the things that Grimms hate the most.

It appeared in front of me and attacked me. Its claws have become bigger and the energy surrounding it solidified. It is also too a sharper flavor, that being close to it made me feel like thousands of needles piercing my body.

It shook me, that it took my all my effort to move my sword to defend against its attack.

'Soul attack!' I thought.

It couldn't help but surprise me. The soul attacks are rare for the Werewolf. Till now, I have fought against thousands of Werewolves, tens of thousands of them, but less than a hundred have used soul attacks.

Most were weak; only seven of them had affected me like this one.

It is a good soul attack, and it would have crushed me. If not for a pure and powerful soul.

Still, the attack wouldn't be over, and I activated a couple of formations that created even more barriers, which immediately lessened the burden on me and I focused on the physical side of the attack, which was coming to crush me.

CLANNNNG!

The claw hit my sword, and it shook me, before sending me back with cracked bones and vomiting mouth.

"Nice attack!" I mocked, and it made me even angry that it appeared in front of me, in an instant, and attacked again.

The soul attack became even more powerful, that it had cracked my defenses and claw was no less dangerous, especially when I couldn't concentrate fully with the pain of thousands of needles piercing through my soul.

CLANNNNG!

I barely, I was able to defend, but it had messed me good inside.

I shouldn't have mocked it. I need it to use as much power as possible, but I am making it use more.

It's like, I want to test myself against its full power, which is clearly suicide. Seeing it will only need a single attack on my body to finish me off.

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!

Seconds passed, and the attacks came, coming, one after another. Attacking my body as well as my soul.

Every moment is the struggle against the attack, but not for a moment, I thought about giving up. I have survived battles worse than this and while I have chewed more than I bite here, I will survive this Grimm too.

It will be this Werewolf, who will die. I will kill it and until the time, comes, I will have to survive.

"You are like one nasty cockroach; no matter, how much, I hit, you refused to die," it said angrily, before suddenly a bloody smile appeared on his face.

"Maybe it is because I wasn't using the proper force," it added and smiled. A moment later, a powerful aura blasted out of its body.

A large amount of energy came out of its body and formed massive claws of energy, surrounding its big claws.

Already, those metallic claws were bigger than me and now the energies surrounding it are even bigger. It seemed like, it really considered me a cockroach and summoned swatter to kill me.

"Now die!" it roared and attacked.

The attack was extremely fast and powerful. So much, that I was scared, I might not be able to defend against it.

Still, I poured every bit of my strength into my hands and moved my sword to defend against it.

CLANNNNNNG!

The huge claw clashed against my tiny sword, and I shook, while every bone in my body broke and I sent back while vomiting the pieces of internal organs.

I was barely able to hold on to the sword. It was a good thing; I had attached a string to it. If I had not, I would have really lord.

The attack was far too powerful. It injured me heavily, that I couldn't even use my full power. I wanted to burn my blood, but I really didn't want to do that, seeing it isn't the only Grimms around.

There are a lot of them, and they are fighting with the natives.

Burning my blood will weaken me afterwards and I won't be able to recover quickly. Still, I might need to use the option, if I felt it was going to kill me.

CLANNNNNNG CLANNNNNNG CLANNNNNNG

The attack hit me again and again, every attack would injure me further. weakling me so much, that I had used the strings to bind the sword in my hand.

It is the only tool, that is helping me defend against it. If I lose it, I will be killed immediately.

"You are one stubborn bastard. By now, I would have finished killing tens of you," it shouted and launched another attack, that crashed me against a massive boulder.

I crushed through the boulder, and it followed behind, attacking me again and again, while I could only defend.

I am at my limit; I won't be able to defend against its attack for over ten seconds. After that, either I will die, or I will need to burn my blood.

Soon, seven seconds passed, and the relief appeared on my face. I am going to take a massive risk, something I had never, tried before against the Sky Sovereign.

It could fail spectacularly, but it is the risk, I will have to take before I burn my blood.
